I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Simon for the first time during my studio day at AURA Photographic yesterday. Simon is professional and respectful and I had an overall fantastic time working with him. Simon is friendly, polite, easy-going and he made me feel comfortable throughout. We worked at a relaxed yet productive pace and he gave me great direction but also allowed me to pose freely and give input too. The images I saw on the back of the camera looked amazing!

Had an amazing shoot session with Simon Hales during my Studio Day at Studio Fifty Eight. Prior to shooting pre-communication was excellent and I knew exactly what themes and concepts we were going to cover.

On the day we had an awesome shoot and shot so many themes and concepts from fashion to lingerie and Cosplay too.

Time flew by and we had a really productive and fun shoot.

Simon also kindly gave me a lift after the shoot which was much appreciated.

After what felt like years chatting and wanting to work together, we finally made it happen!

Simon booked me for two shoots over two days and it was honestly a pleasure from start to finish. Simon is an absolute gentleman, respectful, great company and easy to talk to. As well as all of that our styles were very well matched and we got some stunning images over the two days. He is very tasteful and creative with his photography and captures models so beautifully (as you can see from his port!).

I 1000% cannot fault Simon and would happily recommend him to any model, new or experienced. Really hope that our paths cross again in the future as I would love the chance to work together again.

I shot with Simon again at one of my studio days at Studio Fifty Eight.

Once again he was an absolute pleasure to shoot with! I have shot with Simon a couple of times before but I really saw how his confidence had come along on this last shoot.

Simon is friendly, easy going and very easy to work with. We managed to capture a range of images and got some lovely results!

Simon is always super sweet, respectful and makes sure the model is happy/comfortable :-)

I recently had the pleasure of working with Simon during a recent studio day at Studio Fifty Eight. It was booked as a tutored shoot alongside J Black Photographic, and between us we captured some truly wonderful images - the back of camera shots looked amazing!

Simon's knowledge of his camera was extensive, and he was more than happy to try different lenses at John's suggestion, including changing settings etc with ease. Simon was polite and professional throughout the shoot and definitely someone I would happily work with again in the future.

We worked our way around multiple sets and in each area he faced a new challenge which he was more than happy to take on! He was attentive throughout and didn't hesitate to ask any questions he might have had, a true joy to work with.

We recently met Simon during a tutored shoot at Studio Fifty Eight and from start to finish he was a joy to work with. He arrived on time and was raring to go and was polite and professional throughout, a true gentleman.

He took our advice on board and was happy to implement it throughout the shoot, asking questions and for clarification if needed, which showed super initiative!

Simon's knowledge of his camera was superb and he didn't have a problem adjusting settings at our suggestion, often thinking to change them before we had even mentioned it.

Simon booked me as a tutor alongside model Angel Black, and from start to finish his pre shoot communications were excellent. He detailed roughly what he was looking to learn from the tuition which helped me to better prepare for the session. It was out first visit to Studio Fifty Eight, but Simon knew the studio and was able to choose his favourite areas to shoot. He was attentive throughout the session, happily making mental notes of what I suggested, as well as implementing them throughout.

He had good base knowledge which we built upon during the shoot, ensuring he went away more confident with natural light. We started off moving through a variety of sets using natural light before finishing with studio lighting/artificial lighting and he showed superb initiative throughout all sets.

I'd happily recommend Simon and it was pleasure to work alongside him.

To say I hadn’t shot with a new photographer for a very long time Simon was very polite made me feel comfortable and had lots of good conversations.
