Now this is a very long overdue reference that ive been meaning to write for weeks and massively appreciate Simons patience! I knew it wouldn't be a short one to write and I also knew it wouldn't be a shoot id forget in a hurry! It was one of the most enjoyable shoots I had whilst on my most recent London tour.

His pre communications beforehand were in-depth and really helpful for me to be able to see his vision of what he was looking to create during our shoot.. He sent a moodboard over beforehand, with some great ideas that were right up my street and the more we spoke about the shoot the more excited I was to meet him and make it a reality! During pre comms he was really helpful with being able to fit this shoot in - wed both have preferred a longer time shooting - but I had limited availability and we worked with what we had.. and im glad we did!

He arrived on time and with a smile and really easy conversation flowed naturally. He has the perfect balance of relaxed and hard working.. easing in to the shoot by sitting down with a hot drink and looking through the moodboard together and having a quick natter. Hes a very interesting bloke and has a great sense of humour, I felt completely comfortable upon his arrival and during the shoot. He showed me and the airbnb nothing but respect throughout the shoot.. and all of this combined is a perfect set up for a fabulous shooting experience!

I booked an airbnb with a pretty standard looking space.. but that didn't stop Simon from coming up with ideas no other photographer had that I shot with in the same space.. He utilised it brilliantly and it was a real pleasure to be a part of and see how his creative brain works. He used the balcony and was happy to direct me on where he wanted me stood, and then let me get to it with my posing - telling me what worked and what didn't so we could work around it and achieve the best images. The hard working part was still an absolute blast! We got through many sets and hes one of my favourite type of photographers to work with as hes vocal when were shooting when there's a shot he likes - and hes happy for me to look on the back of camera at the end of a set.

It's really really clear to me that Simon has a true passion for photography and has an eye for art. He pushes himself to do better and try things out, and it was an absolute pleasure to shoot with him. The cherry on top of the cake is we had a really enjoyable shoot *and* we got some absolute cracking images from it.. I love his style of editing and how our styles mixed.

Apologies for the late reference - I hope we can work together again sometime in the future!

Shooting with Simon was an absolute dream; the time flew by as the whole day was incredibly fun and very creative, he had so many incredible ideas, costumes and props and we shot a range of inspired images in a magical location. He's a natural artist, with an eye for lighting that is absolute genius.

Simon is also really interesting to chat to and fantastic company, super organised with every detail sorted and very clear and communicative in pre-shoot communication and shoot direction. If you have a chance to work with him jump at it! Incredibly grateful for a wonderful day, thank you Simon! :)

second time working with Si, would defiantly recommend, he really plans his shoots before hand with so many different outfits, accessories etc.. The locations too are always amazing! Always feel very comfortable shooting with him which is very important and he's very easy going and down to earth and just makes the whole thing fun!

Simon was great to shoot with! His pre-shoot communication was amazing and clear, he had interesting ideas and brought a few rails of clothing with him for me to try out. Simon came for a model day at HB Mansion with the amazing Beth Kate Taylor. He booked half the day and came on time and was great to host.

Both ourselves and the model found him polite, friendly, respectful and professional. It was a pleasure to meet him and really hope to have him back soon. Highly recommended!

I had a great first shoot with Simon today at my, also first, HB Mansion model day. Got through a great amount of sets and really utilised the space we had. More than a day of work, it was a wonderful experience! Simon is a person of unique kindness, passionate about photography, who loves to share his creativity and company. He was on time and took care of everything down to the smallest detail. Despite having been many hours, we managed to coordinate well and take lots of great shots!

I can only say thank you to him and can't wait to work together again!

When I turned up, I was hugely surprise to see this amazing location was for our shoot. he also has a huge selection of amazing clothes and accessories, which definitely makes a huge difference to any shoot, never ran out of ideas! I had a lovely day shooting with Simon in a gorgeous mansion in east grinstead :) pre-comms were impeccable, Simon picked me up on time from the station and then drove to this amazing place!

He had so many props and clothes which was really cool and I wanted to shoot with literally everything!!

We shot a wide range of pictures from fashion to Art nude, all very tasteful and classy! Simon was very respectful and I felt very comfortable shooting with him :)

Id love to work together again and I cant wait to see the pictures we took!!

There's not really much else I can say that is different to the last reference, but the fact that we have had a second shoot together says a lot.

It was a great pleasure to work with Simon. He has a keen eye for locations and is full of ideas. We didn't need to talk much and time just flew by. I felt very comfortable in front of his camera. We did a few experiments but overall there are some very nice photos. I will definitely recommend him and am very willing to work with him again given the opportunity.
