References for Sophia gray

When the opportunity presented itself to shoot Sophia on her model day at Kempston studio, I grabbed it. Ever since seeing images of her on the 'recently loaded' pages on pp, I wanted to shoot her despite the fact that she was new to modelling (by her own admission). Well, if she was new to modelling 'her lack of experience' was certainly not evident throughout the session.

Sophia greeted me with an outstretched arm and a very confident handshake and a beautiful smile. Straight away I knew that it was going to be a great session.

I quickly ran through the MO for the proposed session and, within a few short minutes, Sophia was on the 'set'. The lights were more or less in the correct positions. I just checked for meter readings.

I had made Sophia aware earlier that I would take mainly portraits- she has an exceptionally beautiful face.

Her poses were fluent, (with absolutely no guidance from me) and confident. Expressions were exactly what I had asked of her. She held her poses too, despite my bad habit of wanting to check each shot on the LCD screen. We stopped for quick chats at appropriate times.

Sophia is very easy and fun to work with. Very professional and friendly. I greatly enjoyed the session. Unfortunately the time passed too quickly.

Sophia is totally 'shootable' and very highly recommended. I look forward to many more sessions. I came away with a far higher rate of great images than with more experienced models making selection difficult and with only negligible post editing.

I have no doubt that it won't be too long before fame (and fortune) knocks on her door and, Sophia, if you want help with your luggage as you travel the world, look no further!

So I have been wanting to a shoot with Sophia since she first came onto Purple Port & I just had my 1st of 3 shoots I have booked with this lovely, excellent lady.

Sophia is a bundle of energy & truly enjoys her shoots which comes across in her smile & joy you will notice.

Sophia is articulate , excellent range of poses , most enjoyable conversation which I enjoy in shoots , Sophia makes her shoots fun & is totally your best co creator of what you want to capture in images.

Finally got the opportunity to work with Sophia at a studio day at Kempton Studios. What a fab person and wonderful model, she was more than happy to listen to a couple of concept ideas I had planned and super patient while Andy and I worked out the lighting. Poses effortlessly and has a good eye for detail, great at collaboration too which always maximises the quality of final images. Really wish I had booked longer time flew by, but we have already discussed our next shoot and have a couple of ideas bubbling so can't wait to work with her again.

Naturally 100% fully recommended you'll definitely come away with some excellent images

My first shoot with Sophia was great fun and some amazing images were created. She arrived with a smile and a huge suitcase full of the clothes i had asked her to bring. She was fun and full of enthusiasm and keen to create some great images. She goes from pose to pose effortlessly always looking good and never running out of energy or ideas. She is amazing very highly recommended.

This was my second photoshoot with Sophia, and once again at the fabulous Kempston Studio in Bedford.

It's difficult to add to what so many others have already written about Sophia, including me in my first review of her last December. In summary I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is an absolutely brilliant model and a joy to work with. My only regret is that I wish I'd booked four hours with her instead of just two! Oh well, next time..........:)

The pre-shoot communication was good and she arrived with a selection of outfits for the shoot.

Ive been wanting to shoot with Sophia for some time, and finally got the chance at her 3 day sell-out at Kempston Studio. We'd agreed beforehand on a flapper girl/Audrey Hepburn theme and Sophia arrived with an array of suitable costumes and a fantastic can-do attitude. She is so much fun and so professional. The time passed much too quickly. Wonderful. Thank you.

Sophia and I shot together last weekend, after we’d been talking about setting something up for what seems like ages. I’m really pleased we finally found a time, as working with her was so easy and enjoyable. She’s highly professional, easy to shoot with and the photos at the end are some of my favourites in a long time.

11/10 - would definitely shoot together again.

Yes, I'd recommend her.

Maybe I should leave the reference at that, because if I try to list all her positive attributes we'll be here all day. What about the negatives then? Well, you're not really allowed to mention those here, but as she doesn't have any that's not an issue.

How then, can I usefully sum her up? An explosion in a fabulous factory who arrived like a whirlwind wheeling a giant case packed with wonders. Four hours in her company will not be enough...

Would I recommend Sophia--in a heartbeat! She is fun and smart and great to talk to and that was even before we started shooting. It was a remote shoot (her first) and she handled it so well, it was like it was her 20th. We discussed what we wanted and during the shoot we communicated so well it was a joy to shoot with her, from the UK to Chicago. I definitely will shoot with her again and I urge anyone who wants someone friendly, smart, photogenic and a wonderful personality to contact Sophia.

WOW ! What an amazing artist and a stunning model.

I had been waiting for this opportunity since last year to have my first shoot with Sophia and finally it happened in the new year. I was absolutely stunned with the images we got together. Great team indeed !

Energy, attitude, expressions, poses, improvisations absolutely outstanding and beyond expectations. I'm sure I'm going to fall short of words here but you should be able to gauge from her portfolio, the efforts she takes to get you the best of best images and she makes it look absolutely easy.

I had shared some moodboards and Sophia was prompt in sharing the images and videos wearing the outfits and accessories she was planning to bring for our shoot. This tremendously helped me to plan what kind of lighting and moods we can plan for the shoot. Her energy levels and enthusiasm was very high and consistent throughout the shoot. Absolutely upbeat and collaborative.

Each frame had unique expressions and poses perfected to excellence. Sophia is very friendly and easy to interact with. We talked about a lot of things during the shoot. There was laughter and fun. Overall it was great experience and needless to say 100000% recommended.

Thank you so much Sophia :-) It has been a great honour working with you yesterday. Looking forward to have many more epic photoshoots like this one with you this year and beyond with new ideas and concepts. Keep up the great work.:-)

Had a great shoot with Sophia at Shutterhouse Studio earlier this week. We chatted about ideas beforehand and brought good ideas to the shoot.

She Arrived early and was helpful and easy to work with.

I had the pleausure of working with Sophia on Saturday and what a lovely experience it was.

Communication in the build up to the shoot was great. We put an inspiration board together and so that we had an idea of what we wanted to capture and executed it brilliantly.

Sophia's bubbly personality and energy shines through into her work which makes for amazing portraits. She is open to ideas that you bring to the table and she also chips in with her own as well which ensures you have plenty of great shots from each set to work with in post. I found Sophia extremely professional to work with, after a few clicks of the shutter, she changes pose which made things so easy on the shoot.

I would highly recommend Sophia to any photographer and I'm relishing the chance to work with her again.

Sophia is always wonderful to shoot with.

She interpreted my latest theme brilliantly, and was very enthusiastic about the concept, even agreeing to venture outside on a freezing cold day for a few shots on location. She has a great wardrobe, including Valentino dresses and Honey Birdette lingerie.

Sophia is easy to get along with, very professional, hard-working, and focussed on getting you the best possible images. She possesses natural poise and beauty, and was very kind about the spaghetti I cooked us for lunch 😀😎

Another great shoot with Sophia. This time was at the excellent Fareham Studio.

Arrangements went well, I met Sophia at the station with her huge suitcase. She had brought enough outfits for three days, giving me a good selection.

We shot some flash and some natural light.

Sophia is really easy to work with, and always looks great.

Looking forward to further shoots in 2024. I'd like some location shoots once weather warms up.

🎞 Kempston Studio [Studio Hire, Bedford] 🎞

A couple of days after dropping Sophia at the station I am still thinking of the two days she spent at the studio on her SOLD OUT studio days.

Sophia from the moment I first contacted her was organised and communicative (she even phoned me to discuss the studio days).

Although she wasn't feeling 100% Sophia still travelled the 3 hrs to get to the studio ready the day before for her bookings. When it came to the days she was fun and engaging with all the photographers, great company and an excellent model.

It is hard to believe that Sophia has not been modelling on PP for long as she has all the poses and was always looking to improve and add something different to everyone's portfolio.

Sophia came with a suitcase full of everything she could need for the 2 full days and having organised another couple of days off the back of these we are pretty much sold out again already (mostly from returning photographers).

I don't think there can be higher praise than photographers booking again.*

Safe to say Sophia is pure class and will be very difficult to book very soon due to her popularity.

I'm lucky to have had Sophia visit the studio and even luckier that she has agreed to return in March.

A very easy recommendation from myself and all of the photographers that attended this week.
