I did my first shoot with John last year in the lovely heat of September/October. We did a few tests near Loggerheads and I have to say I’m quite a nervous model, John really helped bring me out of my shell and become comfortable. He was on time and communication/direction was great. There was never a dull moment, the images came out beautifully and I look forward to working again with you in the future when all is well in the world again! (I’m sorry this reference took so long to get to you)

Had my first shoot with John today after months of planning. Was a great shoot with some wonderful ideas for the current shoot and for the future. Was very lovely and made me feel very comfortable. Was a great day and would definitely work with him again. Photos came back fast :)

This is the fourth shoot I've had with John now I think, and the shortest too! I would definitely say it was the most fun!

Throwing shapes in a body sock, the day after a rave as well! Starting to feel a lot more comfortable on our shoots, and it's always a good laugh which is a bonus!

Had another awesome, fun day with spirit of Wales photography.

I tend to bombard with ideas now, so came up with a warrior type theme. John comes up the location suggestions. Yesterday we ended up at Ewloe castle, despite weather being freezing, still had a laugh, and got some great shots in the end.

Look forward to many more shoots in the future! If he can put up with me, of course! 🙈😄😄

I was instantly put at ease, he's a great laugh and a joy to work with. His work/manner is very professional, the images turn out stunning and I'm looking forward to more shoots in the future!

John invited me to a group shoot at Montrose studio. As a fairly new model I was a little nervous/anxious. Our pre-communications were great, and he had asked me prior to shooting, what levels I was willing to work at. This reassured me he works to a professional level. Excellent photographer, highly recommend. Very happy with the images.

Lily Pryde Model

I had a fabulous shoot with John on sunday. The weather wasn't on our side but we didn't let that dampen our spirits. John picked me up on time and drove us to an amazing location he had picked out. After a short walk we came to the perfect clearing for the pictures we wanted to create. Our pre shoot communication was spot on so we both knew the direction we wanted and were able to crack on straight away. Over the course of the shoot John kept showing me the pictures he had taken and let me delete an accidental photo he had taken that was above the agreed level (this was actually his idea.) I will definitely be shooting with john again and anyone who can, should!

It was my 3rd shoot with Spirit of Wales Photography. We couldn't shoot at our planned location but John found another beautiful place to shoot at instead. As always working with John was a lot of fun. He is one of my very favourite people to work with and his images are always outstanding. Highly recommended!

This was my 2nd shoot with Spirit of Wales Photography. I must say I really love working with John. He is an absolute gentleman, reliable and we had lots of laughs throughout the shoot. I had my first shoot with Spirit of Wales Photography. I had been looking forward to this as I admire John's work. We had planned to do a location shoot in a flower field which was his idea but that was also on my shoot wishlist. We ended up taking photos in a woodland area close by too and the shoot was really enjoyable and a lot of fun. John is very professional, a true gentleman, easy to get on with and I loved working with him. Can't wait to see the images. I am looking forward to working with him again soon. Highly recommended!

Bank holiday 31st May 2021.

What a day 🤩. Unexpected things happened again. We had a long trip with John and we end up without being able to find a car park. ALL FULL . And now what? Nothing scared us. We made it. I could shoot even in the middle of the street 🥳. The images were absolutely amazing, funny, inspired and imaginative. Thank you so so so much John. I really loved it and enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next one.

John is highly recommended by me.

Another shoot with John, what a day !!!!!!!! all locations were private land. The title of the day " Private No Public Access " . But after 2 hours drive we found a location, finally. Everything worked out really good, since we started till the end . John is easy to work with , funny, he could accept some of my ideas and i accepted his, the results were amazing. We both travelled to another dimension, different world, a fantasy , a fairy tale. we were there living the dream. John is very professional, he knows exactly what he wants, how and where to shoot, if he sees something different.

Highly recommended by me.

I had my second shot with John at the fabulous montrose studios The whole day was relaxed, entertaining and productive and I love what I've seen back of the camera. He gives excellent direction when needed and clearly knows what he's doing.

You'll have no reason to feel uncomfortable with this photographer, he is professional and polite, yet easy-going, down to earth. Can't wait till our next shoot.

My third shoot with John and this time in Montrose studio. It was plant since last year. He wanted to shoot me on a beach in summer but we couldnt find time for both of us to do it, so we found a small beach at Montrose studio.And we did the swimwear shoot and the mermaid. It was much better than i was expecting. John is a real gentleman, very kind, professional and knows what he is doing and he also let me use my ideas. John is very easy to work with, funny, and very talented , he transformed me in the Queen of Aegean Sea, Amazing shoot. I didnt expect that, really talented and inspired. He can see things that i cant see. I am going to work with John soon again. Highly recommended by me.
