The dog of wisdom says that “You can not fetch happy, it does not come when it is called, happy has to happen.” I was thinking of quoting the Dalai Lama*, but I went with the dog of wisdom. The point is I can't just get some happiness from somewhere. I want to organise my life to make myself happier, but it doesn't work if I just try to indulge myself. Maybe I can take an existential attitude recognise the inherent meaninglessness and absurdity in what I do but find joy in it anyway.
