Had my third shoot with Derrick as part of a studio day and I have to admit, I’d spent the first few hours looking forward to working with him again! He is such a lovely guy who’s number one priority is you and making sure that you are comfortable and happy and enjoying yourself at all times. As a result, we got some brilliant photos and he ran along with me and some of my wacky ideas (some of which worked, some didn’t) and he offered advice and created characters that lead to an amazing day so I can’t wait to work with him again!

I had my first shoot with Derrick during one of my model days at Paul’s studio reading, Derrick is a great guy to work with he’s very laid back and easy to get on with. I felt relaxed and at ease during our shooting time Derrick is very friendly and makes great communication during shooting time.

I hope to work with Derrick again in the future we created some fantastic images which I look forward to seeing soon.

Had my second shoot with Derrick having met a studio day and he was just as lovely and gentlemanly the second as the first! He’s a great conversationalist and has some great ideas of what to shoot but is also completely open to shooting some of your ideas too! Photography is a collaboration between a model and photographer and he is so on board with this that it makes shooting with him an absolute delight :)

Worked with Derrick again recently at West Surrey Studio, we had great fun with various different sets and ideas, he brought a few things and a couple of guitars as well which I loved!

A great shoot all round, the time flew by and I really enjoyed it.

This was my second shoot with Derrick. He's great fun to work with, always has good ideas and gives good directions while also allowing me to pose freely when appropriate. Pre comms were excellent which allowed me to choose the right outfits to fit the shoot. I would 100% recommend him

Another great shoot with Derrick, this time at West Surrey Studio... and although I turned up way early for the shoot (not even sure how I managed it!) he offered to get over earlier as a result which was very kind of him.

The time just flew by, we got through various different sets and got some cracking images which I cannot wait to see the final shots!!

Highly recommend, always have a good laugh and a chat throughout and very respectful of levels and comfort throughout.

Had a great shoot with Derrick at Rochester Studios recently, the time honestly just flew by and we had a good chat and many laughs throughout! Derrick had lots of different and unique ideas and we managed to use different areas of the studio for each which really helped to mix them up. Pre shoot comms were great and I knew just what to bring with me.

I would highly recommend Derrick and do hope that we get the chance to work together again sometime, thanks for a great shoot! :D

First visit from Derrick, he arrived on time for his shoot with Carla Monaco and Artemis Fauna. He came across as a nice guy who had some different ideas to shoot with the ladies including bringing his own guitars. He was very respectful of the studio and I'd be happy to see him back again.

I had such a wonderful shoot with Derrick at Paul's Studio in Reading. The pre-communication was excellent. I was able to bring along the correct outfits for Derrick's ideas and we worked together fantastically. Derrick is such a lovely gentleman, easy to get on with and makes you feel confident throughout the shoot, allowing you to create some great images. I cannot wait to work with him again. Highly recommended!

I had an epic first shoot with Derrick recently during one of my model days at Paul's Studio! Derrick is super laid back and really easy to get along with. I felt really relaxed and comfortable throughout our shoot as he's so friendly, chatty and such great fun! We managed to do several different 'looks' and 'sets' - my favourite being the one where I was posing with his guitar! I had so much fun and the photos I have seen are amazing! Highly recommended by me :D

I worked with Derrick for the first time today at one of the Time Line Events workshops in Derby.

Communication prior to the event was great and he made sure I was aware of all details regarding the running of the event and what outfits/themes the team were after.

On the day of the workshop Derrick helped to run the event, assisting fellow photographers with their lighting set ups and backdrops for images. He made sure I was comfortable at all times as the Pumping station we were shooting at was very industrial, full of oil, tools and trip hazards.

He was friendly and easy to get along with. The event ran smoothly and the images looked fab from what I saw.

I would definitely recommend Derrick and I hope

I get to work with him on another TLE workshop soon.

Girl on Fire - Lydia

I had the pleasure of working with Derrick for the first time today at one of the Time Line photography events at Claymills Pumping Station in Derby.

During the event, Derrick made sure I and another model were comfortable and safe as well as supporting other photographers with lighting and backdrops.

I really enjoyed the event and would love to work with Derrick and Time Line Photography Events again!

I was very pleased that Derrick invited me to a timeline events group shoot at the beautiful Elvetham hotel! There were lots of shiny cars classic and new. The day was set out well and we even had a chance to explore the beautiful grounds.

Derrick was lovely to work with as usual, he's respectful and chilled. I didn't see many shots from the day but what I saw looked great!

Artemis Fauna

Derrick and I have spoken a few times over the years but a couple of weeks ago was our first shoot at Fine and Dandee studio.

It was my first studio day in god knows how long so all a bit surreal. We spent the two hours talking, shooting a mixture of ideas. Derrick seemed v happy with the images we took- making some interesting sounds at the images I think he liked most, lol!

I reached out to Derrick to ask about what to pack for our two hours so I knew roughly what we were going to shoot so it all worked smoothly. Derrick was up for listening to my ideas too which was nice. Images so far look lovely.

I had a great shoot with Derrick yesterday at Neon Dreams Studio on my Studio Day. He was punctual, friendly, outgoing, professional, kind, creative and a pleasure to shoot with. We shot a mixture of styles which is always fun :)

I had another wonderful shoot with Derrick on my most recent tour.

It was lovely catching up with him after so long, especially as our Spain event had to be rescheduled so I didn't get to see him back in June as planned. We worked our way through several different looks whilst having a natter and a catch up :)

Happily recommended! Always a pleasure working with him and can't wait to work together on my rescheduled Summers Abroad event to Spain next year (and hopefully my Hex event in November too :D)

I was really pleased to be recommended by Nick Halling to Derrick for TimeLine Events and when he contacted me I couldn't wait to get involved. Derrick's pre comms were really great, he was at the event when I arrived and looked after myself and the other model, Ivy Skye, really well during the event. Derrick booked onto Rachelles 'Stepford Wives' event at The Hacienda studio in London, inspired by Miles Aldridge.

Derrick was fantastic to shoot with! He really took the theme on board and I found him to be kind, professional and he took some stunning (and wacky!) images of the setups.
