I shot with David recently, at a natural light workshop (run by urbanphotographer) at F/8 Studio in Gloucester - as usual, he was in excellent spirits, popping in for a catch up, such a friendly soul. Lots of ideas, good direction, some beautiful props, brilliant company, and a gentleman - would highly recommend to all models and creatives!

I worked with my lovely friend David at my home garden/studio yesterday and had such a lovely day creating gorgeous fashion and art nude images in the sun! It was a beautiful day, with the odd cloud so perfect for natural light photography, which David has a natural flair for! David uses two cameras to capture the images (and I have lens envy as they are SO flattering!) and arrived with a large bag of beautiful dresses and props to use. I had a few 1950s dresses I wished to experiment with also and together we were spoilt for choice!

David is fantastic at direction, communication and is kind to share the images during and after the shoot for peace of mind. He also bought some fantastic pop up back drops in a multitude of beautiful pastels - I keep meaning to get a few, they are excellent and such an asset to natural light photography. They also create a little privacy screen when you need it if shooting on location! :)

Aside from this David is a thoroughly decent human being; one of lifes gentlemen; kind, compassionate and very respectful. I have known him many years now and he was a guest at our wedding! I cannot recommend him highly enough and I look forward to the uploads! Thankyou for a lovely day and for the thoughtful spiritual gifts, Helen x

David attended one of my group events at f/8 studio. He was lovely to work with and super friendly! He let me do my own thing but gave lots of helpful direction and tips to get some get shots. He also brought along some random but interesting props which made the shoot a lot of fun!

I cannot wait to see some of the final images and would love to work with David again in the future😊

How lovely to work with David again after 6 years! I was delighted to have the opportunity to catch up when he booked me during my weekend at f/8 recently. David is as gentile, charming and professional as ever he was and the 4 hours flew by. He brought a variety of beautiful clothing options as well as backdrops, and we worked through several sets with both flash and natural light in between some wonderful conversation. I'm so looking forward to working with him again when I return in September and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

It was my third time shooting with David, this time it was our first outdoor shoot at the beautiful Rococo Gardens in Painswick.

As always, David was an absolute pleasure to shoot with. He had a lovely selection of outfits and I had the pleasure of being the first person to wear a particularly gorgeous dress David brought with him.

We shot a few different sets using the buildings and scenery in the park. It was a really pleasant and enjoyable session, and the outfits we brought between us worked perfectly for the location.

I am really happy with how the images have turned out; I feel that they are our best so far. It was also really nice to get outdoors as we were less restricted than I sometimes find with an indoor space.

David is such a lovely, warm person and a very talented photographer. I really enjoy working with him and would without doubt recommend him to any other models. Thanks David; until next time! :D

I had my second shoot with David when I was was hosting a model studio day at f/8 Studio and hopefully we will be able to work together again in the future. :)

David was a pleasure to work with and as before, he arrived so well-prepared that I had no idea how he managed to bring it all with him! The amount of clothes he brought this time was probably twice more than previously which was still a lot! :))

I just loved going through all those beautiful outfits and choosing together what to shoot! We managed to go through quite a few outfit changes but obviously, couldn't go through all of them, so David has to come back to shoot me again at some point (sorry David, you have no choice now!) :D

David was amazing to work with, full of ideas and he knew what he wanted to achieve and knew exactly how to do it. I was really pleased with the fact that David enjoys taking portraits and we managed to have a variation of different poses, outfits and backdrops.

David was incredibly easy to work with, so down to earth, passionate and relaxed at the same time. David is also very polite, professional and kind which made our shoot soooo fun and enjoyable!! :)

I really enjoyed working with David on my studio day at f/8 Studio. He brought some gorgeous garments, an impressive collection of photogenic tops and dresses. He let me choose what worked best for me and concentrated on portraiture, which I really enjoy. His pictures of me are emotive and wholesome, really fun to shoot. It's been really great to see so many already. I'm really glad I had the opportunity to work with David and would love to do so again. Thanks for a lovely shoot. Highly recommended.

I had an absolutely delightful second shoot with David a few days ago at my home, which is a bit on the small side but we made the very best of it and managed to get some really varied photos despite the lack of space!

David is such a lovely person to work with, very kind, chatty and accommodating; I am always impressed by his lovely collection of clothing and accessories! We only worked together for a couple of hours but we managed to fit a lot into the session. David had lots of ideas for the shoot and supplied all of the gorgeous outfits I had the honour of wearing.

I really like David's style of photography and his ability to capture emotive and thought-provoking images. I also love how a lot of his photos look from a bygone era and have a vintage feel - it works well for the type of look I have.

I wouldn't hesitate to work with David again; he is a really fantastic guy! Thank you David :)

I had my first shoot with David at f/8 studio where I was hosting my studio day and hopefully we can work together again! :)

David booked me for 4 hours and it made me really happy as that meant a lot of portraits which I don't do that often! It was really great to do something a little bit different this time:)

David arrived on time, with A LOT of stunning outfits for me to wear and I thought I had a lot of clothes with me - well, wait for David to show your his wardrobe ha :D!!

We had a wonderful shoot and we covered so many styles, ideas and outfit changes! We created a lot of feminine, elegant and sophisticated images that I absolutely loved!

Throughout the whole shoot, David was really polite, down to earth, easy going and full of creativity! We worked together so well and those 4 hours flew by sooo qucikly!

I worked with my lovely friend David and DominikaW on a recent studio day at our studio "The Den" and had such a lovely time! David is an old friend of mine that I initially met on Purpleport and someone I treasure working with.

Its always a complete pleasure working together and I always look forward to our shoots! David is such a gentleman. He has a marvellous eye for detail, texture, colour and cloth and this really shows in his beautiful portraits. It must be over 8 years we have known once another now and time has not changed this lovely man- he is still as kind as when I first met him.

I really value his friendship and all of the advice he has shared with me over the years, so much so that I asked if he would be kind enough to give me a reading at my wedding recently. Thankyou so very much for such a beautiful reading David, I will never forget it.

I recommend David highly, not only as a photographer but as a dear friend. Thankyou David, Helen x

A wonderful portrait photoshoot with David Thursday evening. David came over to F8 Studio on Thursday and we worked through a series of outfits and props that David provided. David also brought his new backdrop that created a period feel to the images we shot. It was a slightly different look for me but the photographs are to a really high standard so definitely glad I stepped out of the Pin Up comfort zone for the evening!

David was patient and open to ideas with the shoot as well. He was completely respectful of me at all times and was chatty too.

David has a way of capturing a very flattering side of you in Portraits and I would highly recommend him for portrait photography.

All round nice photographer- definitely shoot with him if you get the chance :)

David is a lovely guy! He attended my Pin Up Group Shoot last Saturday. David was early to the shoot, courteous and full of creativity! David was friendly to the other Photographers, respectful of other people's turns to shoot and space. He spun a natural light aspect to the shoot and we took some lovely portraits in that time. I would be keen to explore this more with David in the future. I would recommend shooting with David to other models for sure. Thank you for a great afternoon David :) x

David always brings a massive selection of clothes and props to a shoot (more than me infact 😂) which is always good to shoot in something that isn't yours and that you haven't been shot in before.

I had such a lovely shoot with David today after much hibernation during the pandemic and it was so lovely to model again! David is a very talented photographer, always bringing the very best out of his models through the use of his wardrobe, costume and accessories! He has a fantastic eye for styling, dressing the model and setting the scene.

Every shoot has always been so creative and enjoyable- and time passes far too quickly! David is a long term friend and someone I love shooting with! He is also super respectful, professional to work with and a joy to be around.
