Didn't have a shoot as a model but as a photographer.

Kes taught me the basics of studio lighting and photography.

She kept it simple for me and taught me everything I needed to know.

She had also got a model to come in so I could do portrait work on a real life model.

A very laid back but informative lady. I think we got on very well and will look forward to putting her tips in practice at future group events at her studio.

Highly recommend as a amateur photographer:)

What an amazing workshop I had at @The Shed with Kezz organising everything perfectly.

Pre-communication was on spot and Kezz is so easy to come along with so we discussed all the details very quickly and were all ready to shoot.

The studio itself is very-well equipped and we all had a lot of fun shooting there.

Kezz made sure the studio is warm and I felt like at home there with all attendees being very nice and friendly. Kezz has all necessary equipment in the studio and was very helpful and ensured everyone is happy so photos looked amazing straight out of the cameras.

I wish that workshop had been lasted longer as I was really enjoying it.

Thanks Kezz, I am looking forward to working with you again

I had a wonderful shoot at "The Shed". Totally misnamed !!!

I was greeted by Keez who showed me around and went through the plan for the shoot, then put the kettle on :)

The shoot started a couple of minutes late but we were given more than that back by the shoot end.

A wonderful studio, great atmosphere, more than enough equipment and props, plenty of parking, easy to find but hard to forget.

I look forward to my next visit. Thank you Keez

What a gorgeous day I had!

This was my first shoot with Kez and first studio day at The Shed, what a welcoming bunch I had. One of those that just felt like a group of mates hanging out on a sunday afternoon, as much as it was relaxed dont read into that and think it was in anyway not professional, great standards, time keeping and quality was upheld the entire shoot but great chats and banter was had alongside for the duration; and these are my favourite kind of days. Pre coms were perfect, i knew exactly everything i needed to know and Kez was so accommodating with me and my travel situation.

The shoot space was exceptional and wonderful gear throughout.

Looking forward to another shoot here! Highly recommended from me 🖤

Naming Kezzs studio the Shed is a bit like calling Brighton pavilion a conservatory. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly want and loads more you didn't know you needed. A proper Alladdins cave with more backdrops than you can shake a stick at. Plus Kezz on hand to give help and advice.

Excellent group shoot on this visit, not too formal but not a free for all either. Perfect for anyone a little less confident (there's always the risk of getting sidelined). Perfect sized group.

Can't recommend here enough. Go if you get the chance. I'll definitely be back.

Another shoot in the bag at the studio this time with Ayeesha for an Egyptian themed shoot.

The studio is always meticulously clean and organised, Kezz is always on hand to offer advice and help set the lighting up and will always help you achieve the look your after.

The studio has a large array of paper backdrops and also some stylish fabric backdrops.

The atmosphere is always friendly and the kettle is always on the go.

Highly recommend the studio shooting for either solo shoots or group shoots

Today I had a lovely shoot at The Shed with a photographer I work with often. He really spoke highly of the studio and today I found out why!

Kezz who owns The Shed is the most down to earth, chatty and all around beautiful person. She makes your visit so comfortable and inviting.

I would definitely recommend the studio to any model as there is such an safe energy and you are treated like family!

I am so excited for future shoots there :)

I have shot at The Shed Essex more times than I can remember so it is time for me to provide an updated reference although in truth nothing has changed since my last - things have only improved.

This is more than a studio it is a community of photographers and models created by the owner Kezz. All new photographers and models are welcomed

Kezz is enthusiastic about what she does at the studio and creative with a capital C. Nothing is to much trouble to enable you to produce the images you want - the only limitation is (in my case) your own ability and Kezz is on hand to help with that!

I regard this as my 'home studio' which I would recommend to photographers and models alike

Another awesome shoot at the shed! Absolutely marvellous! It's such an amazing space with a great array of back drops, props, and lights.

The space is always beautifully clean, warm, welcoming, and the changing space is very accommodating.

Run by an absolutely wonderful lady. It's always a joy to tread the boards.

I'll start by saying what a wonderful studio this is.

This was my first visit to the studio and I have come away so impressed.

Kezz is lovely and the pre-coms, planning and organisation is extremely professional.

As is Kezz's approach to everything. Just brilliant.

I went along to one of the group events and I have to say I had just the best time. It's a great set up here. When I arrived, I was met with a welcoming warm smile and felt immediately comfortable.

Within minutes I had a hot cuppa in my hand and was being introduced to the other attendees who were all lovely people. The evening was 3 hours in all and just went so well. Our model for the evening (Lara) was amazing. Lara comfortably completed no less than 3 different fashion styles to shoot on the night with ease.

There was no rushing to shoot, no time watching, everyone just took their turn and captured what they wanted. Everyone was willing to help each other and discuss options for lighting and best background for the outfits. Everyone on the night was just so willing to be helpful in anyway they could. And I came away with some really nice images of Lara.

It's a lovely relaxed atmosphere and honestly don't think it couldn't have gone any better.

Lots of fun and banter, fresh tea and coffee at the drop of a hat and we even had a home made chocolate cake on the side (supplied by one of the photographers) and biscuits!

I've attended many a studio night myself and this night is up there.

So, keep them eyes open for Kezz's promotions and castings on here and social media

Apologies for the late reference - I haven't been well unfortunately!

I had a lovely time at The Shed last month on an Ice Queen themed group shoot, Kezz is super creative and a brilliant host, always making sure the models feel safe, comfortable and ensures a fun afternoon of photography!

The outfits and accessories selection at The Shed is honestly like Aladdins Cave, there is so much to choose from, which is great for photographers to be able to mix and match different images and get unique shots.

Everyone who attended The Shed was lovely, Kezz really looks out for models and I'm sure everyone can agree the shoots are very well run, and everyone has a fun and enjoyable time!

Had a wonderful studio day with Kezz and her lovely group of photographers - the Shed has a really friendly, welcoming environment and I'd definitely recommend to any models thinking of shooting here:)

Pre comms were fabulous and well organised; I had the chance to shoot with Kezz as well as attending her event, and had huge amounts of fun! Got some great images and she and Simon were both really well organised with their lighting setups and concepts, so we could make the most of each set. Highly recommend!

I’ve shot at the shed for a few times now and I love working there, made to feel part of a small family, Kezz is wonderful and always on hand to help with the lights and back drops, cups of tea or coffee is always on hand.

Highly recommended booking here for shoots.

Misfit Photography

I attended my second group shoot at The Shed Studio the studio is a great little venue with a variety of backdrops, studio lights, modifiers and props. Kezz the owner is always helping change the lighting should the photographers want something different.

Despite only being my second visit to the studio it felt like I had been there a number of times. As everyone has made me feel so welcome and part of their community.

One of the things that I have really liked about the group shoots at The Shed Studio is that Kezz actively encourages the photographers to work together on lighting each set. And is happy for the photographers to change it and is on hand to help if they are not confident enough or do not know how to do it.

Refreshments are always offered upon arrival and throughout the shoot and you are welcome to make your own drinks.

I have no hesitation in recommending the studio and I am planning on attending more events.

I was invited to my first shoot at the Shed Essex alongside two other photographers in close relation to Kezz and can already say I'll definitely be returning. Immediately I was warmly greeted and made to feel comfortable in her studio space.

Kezz was a great host and accommodating to all of my needs like checking if I needed a drink and providing a helping hand when changing from accessories.

Her studio is packed with everything you need for an amazing shoot from different backdrops, clothes, accessories etc...

Not to mention her complete professionalism at all times, even after our shoot she was completely caring about how comfortable I had felt at the time of the shoot; I had the best time at The Shed and Kezz was such a good laugh.

I recommend her 100% to anyone if you're looking for a time full of fun and great pictures ☺️

The Shed Essex is where my Studio Photography began. Amazingly well equipped with lighting, modifiers, smoke, backdrops, and friendly expert support if needeed. Not to mention the tea and coffee. I've used it for a marathon 6-hour shoot themed on 'The twists and turns of love', many 1-1 sessions and some fabulous club nights.

I've sold prints of images taken here, and had numerous shots published.

First time shooting with Kezz and Simon at Kezz's fantastic studio. So many possibilities with lots of different backdrops, lighting equipment, props and outfits. You can tell Kezz is extremely passionate about her studio and has put a lot of time and effort into it. I instantly felt comfortable shooting in this studio and felt well looked after - without a doubt one of my favourite environments I've shot in, the perfect mix of relaxed, lots of laughs and professionalism.

I really enjoyed my time shooting with Kezz, an excellent photographer who puts time and effort into getting the best shot, producing quality images. Pre comms were excellent, I knew exactly the style Kezz wanted to shoot so I knew what to bring with me outfit wise.

The studio is well kitted out and when it comes to props Kezz is always picking up something new. She is always ready to lend a hand and help to bring ideas to fruition.

I have been a regular photographer at The Shed since it opened, shooting on many many group events as well as 1-2-1 shoots with various models. It is my now my second home.

The studio is a spacious well lit area with several shooting areas. Loads of lights, modifiers and a host of backdrops, and boxes of tricks to create lots of effects and to be able to achieve whatever your heart desires.

The same could be said of many studios but the difference here is....

The group shoots are always brilliant. Kezz makes sure everyone gets what they want and everyone gets 'their time'. The models are always very well looked after by Kezz, and also by the very decent group of photographers that attend. I have yet to hear anything negative about The Shed or its attendees.

The owner Kezz is a passionate photographer, passionate about the studio, and even more passionate about those that go there. Nothing is ever too much trouble and helps always on hand of it is needed. Kezz has made this studio a fabulous place to be.

In the 3 years or so I have been shooting there, Kezz has become a very valued close friend, and shooting partner on many many shoots. Her desire to learn, explore, and teach is second to none.

Thank you Kezz. You and the studio really are exceptional.

I have been fortunate enough to visit the Shed Essex twice and both times have been absolutely lovely! Kezz is so fabulous from start to finish, with her pre communications being fast and clear. She is so considerate to her models and really takes care of each of them! She also ensures all the photographers who attend her events are lovely and safe.

The studio itself is lovely,a great creative space that is warm! Haha! I always enjoy my visits there! I would definitely recommend visiting the Shed & working with Kezz! I look forward to returning in the future.
