Had a shoot today at Chris's studio. Great studio, endless selection of lights and modifiers and backgrounds. Excellent tea, and nice and warm. Add in a pleasant helpful host and what is not to like! Will definitely be shooting there again. Highly recommended.

Studio Hire Plymouth is this far one of my favourite studios, teeming with numerous options in terms of light and backdrops. Chris is efficient with the equipment and knows how to make the best images from what is available and has clearly invested a lot of time, care and money into this space. The dressing room is spacious with plenty of natural light and two enormous Hollywood mirrors and a dressing room with ample space for changes. There is also refreshments available, which I was offered throughout the shoot.

I felt comfortable and accommodated here. The photographers who attended the workshop were polite and respectful, with Chris on hand to advise them how to make the best of the setups provided.

I am so pleased and recommend the studio very highly. I very much hope to return. Thankyou.

My second visit to studio hire Plymouth; this time for a group shoot/workshop. Chris is a great host as well as hugely knowledgeable and the facilities are everything you could ask for. The changing room is spacious, well-lit and comfortable and the photographers who attended were a joy to model for. Highly recommended and I'm sure I'll be back next year.

I have now done two groupshoots recently at Studio Hire Plymouth and both were a complete success. We shot a a number of different glamour, fashion and art nude sets. It was very well organised, with both times the group of 6 photographers were all lovely and very professional. Each photographer shot individually, and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. I intend on doing more events there in the future, Chris really looks after everyone, and makes sure its all running smoothly. Thanks Chris :)

Over four years since the last time..! I finally returned to Studio Hire Plymouth last weekend and I instantly regretted that I had left it so long!

Great studio. Warm, clean, spacious, more lights than you can shake a stick at, great changing room with bright lights and mirrors, tea, coffee...Everything you could need.

Chris was on hand to help out with lighting during the two days and helped myself and the photographers booking on get some super images.

Already booked in to return next year... Highly recommended!!

I attended the Amie-Jayne Boulton Group Shoot at SHP and what a great night it was with 5 lighting setups with five clothing changes from Amie, Chris Conway was on hand to answer any question the group had and we all were allocated slots to shoot each setup. This was my first time in a studio and honestly I really found this of benefit from seeing how the lights are setup and working with the excellent Amie Boulton, the whole event was professionally run but very relaxed, I highly recommend this to anyone looking to learn about lighting, great value...

I had the opportunity to model at studio hire Plymouth last night for a group shoot.

It was an epic experience, i worked with some awesome photographers in an amazing setting. The studio is by far the best local studio i've worked in. Fully equipped with everything you would need and help at hand by the studio owner at all times. Perfect size to hold the group shoot that we had last night and a large changing room which is awesome when your suitcase is like a tardis! fab area for make up ....even has funky lights. This studio goes above and beyond with attention to detail to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. Would recommend the studio to anyone and would happily model there at any point :-)

I was lucky enough to receive two hours of free time at Studio Hire Plymouth on Saturday (thank you again!). This was my first time at the studio after hearing all the great reviews, and it certainly lived up to expectations. The studio was spacious and well equipped which made it easy to get on with shooting the images we wanted. The dressing room was big and well lit, as well as having a changing area and large mirrors. All this made for a great experience- would highly recommend :)

Worked at the studio yesterday for a fitness based shoot, with model and MUA..

I've used the studio before and it's a good space to work in, Chris is very helpful with lighting set up assistance and remote control power level studio flash is great to work with, quick, easy and hassle free light balancing !

The MUA and Model loved the dressing room, so much space, light and mirrors and it all contributed to a great shoot with images I'm very happy and pleased with.

First visit to the studio arranged by a photographer from Plymouth. I travelled up, lots of space for parking close by.

I Thought it was in a good location and very equipped. Big space and the dressing room was Great. Lots of room to lay things out and loved the mirrors and lights

Listening to music while shooting helps me relax and the sound system was perfect, as I could just select my preference of music to play

I had my first studio day at Studio hire Plymouth. The studio is amazing really big space, loads of back drops, infinity cove. It's very clean and tidy, the models changing area is huge. Full length mirror plus mirrors with lights and even a separate changing cubicle. Not to forget the studio has HEATING!!!

Chris who runs the studio is equally as amazing, really nice guy and always on hand to help with lights or anything the photographers or models need. I will always recommend this studio when I am working down this way.

This was my first shoot at Studio Hire Plymouth and probably the first time I have shot in a studio for a few years so I was feeling quite nervous, but Chris was on hand when I needed any assistance and he also makes a great cuppa :)

The studio is well laid out and very well equipped with modifiers on display for easy access and a good selection of coloured backdrops.

I would definitely recommend this studio and I look forward to working there again.

Chris was great- welcoming and happy to make endless cups of tea and coffee. The studio itself is comfortable, warm and has great changing facilities. The Make-up stations are brilliantly lit and the main studio area had endless possibilities.

I was impressed with everything they had to use :), the images I've had back are beautiful. the dressing room is lovely and spacious, very private and has a wall of full length mirrors which for any model is great! Had an amazing time shooting at Studio Hire Plymouth. The studio has a lot of space, various backdrops and great props. The changing facility is also excellent, spacious and clean.Through out my time there Chris was always on hand to help if needed. Hope I will visit again in the future. Highly recommended.
