Had another fantastic shoot with Russ today doing a boxing theme and i gotta say he is absolutely brilliant to work with. He is such a gentleman with great personality and he is very considerate. I love working with Russ, he is an amazing photographer and it's always an enjoyable shoot.

I definately recommend him 100% and can't wait to work with him again.

Had another fantastic, productive and thoroughly enjoyable shoot with Russ today.

The first shoot we did together was on my first trip to Newcastle, we shot at his home studio and he really impressed me then with his knowledge of lighting and what he wanted to create.. So I was over the moon to be booked by him yet again.. this time at studio F2.8 in Darlington.

He'd never been to this studio before so it was really interesting to see him work his lighting magic in a area he wasn't so comfortable in.. but boy, did he smash it!! The lighting he comes up with is always thought through, which i have alot of respect for.

We used more than one setting and we also used natural light, he had 2 great ideas which were right up my street and he made my job easy by letting me know what type of poses he was looking for.

I always love working with Russ and am always looking at the back of the camera in pure excitement as i know weve created something amazing again!

I had my first shoot today with Russ and I hope it wasn't not last.

Russ is very artistic and professional. He has creative eye and he is so easy going frendly person. Ours 4h shoot has gone so fast and we have some truly beautiful images.

I absolutely loved working with Russ and can't wait to work again.

My most recent shoot with Russ and as always it was great. We arranged everything quick and easy and was looking forward to it straight away!

We did the majority of the shoot on location, in a lovely place that Russ had suggested and we were able to get a mix of different backgrounds and settings which all worked really well, we even got followed by a group of swans who obviously wanted their picture taken by Russ :)

Rest of the shoot indoors where we were able to get a different look for these images. As always Russ was fab to work with, i can’t recommend him highly enough, we never run out of ideas and I absolutely love working with him and can’t wait for the next shoot.

After meeting Russ previously after an enquiring email, Talli Lyndsey & I had the pleasure of working on a shoot with him.

I found his communication prior to the day to be clear, friendly & enthusiastic.

On set Russ is friendly, considerate, funny & while they know what they want to shoot/the image they are after they are not afraid to expierment or to be playful in approach of creation.

I wholeheartedly recommend Russ as a photographer to work with & I look forward to it only seeing the images we made together, but to working with them again. 10/10!

This morning myself and partner Kris Canavan had our first shoot with Lightingman at their home studio. We had previously had the pleasure of meeting up with Russ for coffee to discuss the concept and become familiar with one another. our email communication before the shoot was regular and informative.

Russ is nothing less than a true gentleman and very considerate and respectful. More so on set he has a very strong vision and creative approach to image making. Well prepared and adaptable to developments I found working with him a very enjoyable experience and would highly recommend him!

Looking forward to seeing the results and hopefully working with him again in the near future.

First shoot with Russ on Sunday when I came to Newcastle for a last minute mini tour. He was really easy to work with and had great pre communication before the shoot so I knew exactly where I was going and what to bring.

Really loved the images I saw back of camera too and can't wait to see how they turn out. The shoot was super enjoyable with lots of chats, laughs and great coffee. I would recommend him to any model and creative :) Hoping to shoot with him again when I am next in the area.

I worked with Lightingman on my tour up North, and it was an absolute pleasure!

He was happy to collect me from the metro (and luckily, he was kind enough to help me with tickets etc on the way back!). He took me to his home studio, which is a lovely space with many possibilities if you use it in the way he does. There was nice, easy going conversation from start to finish - including quite a few laughs! He was offering cups of teas, and it was a very laid back, enjoyable shoot. Lightingman makes you feel very comfortable, especially with his endless knowledge of lighting and tricks of photography. I think we worked very well together, I wouldn't hesitate in the slightest to recommend him to any model in the future.

What can I say :) :) :) yeyyy another shoot with my lovely friend Russ, who I just love to work with. The plan was to shoot on location and get some images in the great outdoors however the glorious British weather was not on our side, basically it was chucking it down! Even though this was the case we had a really great shoot with images I loved! We worked in Russ' home studio and made our way through several different sets/ looks, it always amazes me that no matter how many times we shoot together, between the two of us we never run out of ideas, Russ is really creative and a perfectionist when it comes to lighting, resulting in fab images.

Very highly recommended!

Had a brilliant first shoot with Lightingman in his home studio. The shoot was a half day, but the time flew by and we even ended going on for a bit longer than intended as we were getting such great work done.

He made sure to let me know what kind of style he was after so it was really easy for me to prepare what to bring with me. Ideas were bounced so easily around that we even ended up doing some styles we hadn't planned on.

He also made sure we had plenty of breaks, he had the decaf coffee I needed, and that I got there from the train station hassle free.

Definitely recommended and I'm looking forward to the next time we shoot together!

Had a relaxed and very enjoyable full day shoot with Lightingman today at my home working from fashion nude to tasteful erotic nude using some reference images he had collected as a starting point. Was delighted with much of what I saw BOC and looking forward to having some amazing new images to boost my port. Every time I work with Lightingman I learn something new - he is extremely adept at his craft- and as always feel totally at ease with him at all times as he is always calm, encouraging and respectful. I look forward to continuing to work with Lightingman and as before would not hesitate to recommend him (very) highly to others.

Had my first shoot with Russ today and it was fantastic, he is such a wonderful guy and and an absolute gentlemen. Russ made me feel at ease from the start and he looks out for the models he works with. He is very professional, easy to get along with and he is also caring. He has brilliant ideas and he takes his time to get the perfect shot which shows in his work.

I would certainly recommend Russ to anyone looking for a photographer as he is amazing to work with and i was very lucky to of worked with him.

I would thoroughly recommend Russ, he is the consummate professional, very creative with some great experimental ideas. The 4 hour shoot just flew and I felt thoroughly relaxed and he made me feel at home providing refreshments and snacks, 5 star :)

I had my most recent shoot with Russ yesterday, shoots with my lovely friend Russ just get better and better each time. Even though we have worked together so many times, each shoot is totally different.

This time we did half location, half studio shoot. I loved the setting that Russ chose and it worked perfectly for the look we were going for, the images I have seen so far are fab, so happy with them! As always Russ was so kind and checking if I was ok and not too cold.

Second half of the shoot was in the studio, we worked through several outfits and lighting set ups.. Russ is so talented with lighting, so much knowledge and very creative too.

As usual such a fun shoot, we had so many laughs and chats while getting lots of great images.

I cannot recommend Russ highly enough and can't wait for our next shoot.

Russ is a true creative, and a true gent - a fabulous combination, I think.

I had my second shoot with Russ yesterday and it felt like such a great collaboration - I got a lot of enjoyment out of talking through the ideas and discussing the moods/themes/light/clothing. He has a fantastic eye and frames images in unique ways - I like that he doesn't always follow the rules when it comes to framing and lighting but he gets some fantastic results.

Russ is also really great company and makes the best tea and coffee. I've got a lot of respect for saffron tea and proper coffee. He is clearly a multifaceted human being, so conversation is really easy. We chatted easily about philosophy and art and politics and it felt consistently like an easy natural conversation.

Highly recommended from me and would definitely work with Russ again.
