What an amazing shoot with David - a really enjoyable day. His communications beforehand were excellent and he was very well organised and had created a comprehensive shoot plan which he took the trouble to run through with me before we started. Having such a clear mutual understanding made the shoot run so smoothly that time flew by.

It should go without saying that David is impeccably respectful and professional, with a thoughtful and considerate approach at all times. He is also absolutely charming and huge fun to work with. I felt as if we knew one another well and this reflected on the ease with which we worked through a wide variety of varying styles and locations. I am sure it will also be reflected in the resulting images.

Highly recommended to anyone lucky enough to shoot with him. Thank you, David, for a wonderful time - I hope we can shoot together again very soon!

Very much enjoyed a recent shoot with David, who was very well organized and sent me a detailed shoot plan beforehand (he was also patient enough to talk me through finding said shoot plan, as it was a function I hadn't previously used!).

He has a good eye for concepts and composition, and it was an enjoyable shoot with easy conversation. I look forward to seeing the photos, and enjoyed the opportunity to be creative. Would happily recommend to other models.

It really was an absolute delight having David attend the workshop that I ran with Theresa Louise in Milton Keynes on Saturday.

David is a fantastic photographer whose work I have followed for a while. He was really receptive to the techniques we covered ... picking them up easily from the very start and putting them to awesome use in the session.

I can do nothing but recommend David, his work really is wonderful, and he added greatly to the dynamic of the group of photographers on the workshop.

What a really lovely guy David is, totally recommended.

I had super shoot with David on mine and Artemis Fauna's duo model event at Aura studio recently.

David booked us both for a 3hr session, he brought along lots of ideas for us to work through, 'the Helmut Newton set' was a particular favourite of mine which David has created a beautiful image from that set, really pleased with how it turned out!

David is lovely, easy to work with and professional, I hope to work with him again in 2022.

I was so happy to see that CharlesPhoto had booked onto the recent Thomas Holm Ballet/Sculptural Art Nude lighting tutorial, which I had just been invited to model for, as I have long admired his beautiful photography. We had good communications prior to the tutorial, which helped further my understanding of the kind of modelling he likes- like me, he appreciates a good Helmut Newton pose, and he also likes a model with a sense of humour. The photo from the tutorial I’ve seen thus far looks lovely. Am looking forward to seeing the pictures as and when they materialise from that day. Highly Recommended. 😊

I had a lovely shoot with David at Sandon Studios today after a long Covid-related delay. It was lovely to be back; David is positive and energetic and well organised, which was great because it meant we managed to fit almost everything from the shoot plan into our 4 hours, without feeling rushed or panicky. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others!

I shot with David today at my home and it was so much fun I had a great day.

Pre comms were fantastic. David put together a shoot plan which was comprehensive and detailed outlining everything I needed to know. I found this a great touch.

We made use of three areas in my house and shot different styles. We have got some amazing stuff and I can wait to show these to the world.

We have already discussed at second shoot early next year.

Model safety was paramount to David. He was a perfect gentleman throughout making sure I was

happy with certain poses and ideas. Which of course I was. He is really friendly and we laughed a lot.

I would recommend shooting with David to anyone he is an absolute star.

Looking forward to our next shoot.

I worked with David for the first time at The Natural Light Spaces as he was having some lighting tuition there.

Before the shoot David was very organised sending me lots of outfit ideas so I knew what to bring. Turns out we had enough for a whole extra day of shooting I think haha but always best to have more than enough ideas!

David really got into all the different lighting set ups, styles and moods and we created some great images from what I saw. It was all looking great!

Definitely recommended and of course would happily work with David again!

He’s got amazing creative ideas, we got so much done in the hours we did which was great and really productive! I feel knackered now haha!

What an absolutely fantastic shoot I have just had with David at the Natural Light Spaces studio!☺️

Right from the word go in our pre comms, I knew what a true professional and creative David is! He knew exactly how he wanted to use our time, and put together an incredibly detailed and clear shoot plan full of different ideas prior to our shoot, so I knew exactly what to bring and expect.

David very kindly collected me from the train station, and his energy, warmth and friendly personality shone through immediately! He is such a genuine and down to earth person, and truly a joy to work with.

Once we had set up, we jumped right into fashion; not usually my forte! But David gave such great direction and encouragement which helped me instantly relax into the shoot. (Not to mention the fact that he made me look 6ft tall!) He truly knows how to use his angles and lighting!

Next was dance, and David absolutely nailed it! He came prepared with poses in mind that he wanted from me, with a particular focus on jumps (not easy to capture!). It is such a luxury as a dancer to work with a photographer who understands the perfect moment to capture, and he did just that. I could already tell by the smile on his face that the shots were good, but checking the back of the camera gave confirmation; wow! I absolutely loved what I was seeing, and really can't wait to see the finished results!

I had such an enjoyable shoot, the 3 hours absolutely flew by! Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent with me David! I really look forward to working with you again in the future!

I shot with David around Cambridge just a few days ago... what a shoot we had! Lots of ideas and get precom prior the shoot.. he arrived with a total grin and the best attitude for the day.. we only had 3 hours booked which absolutely flew by! The weather was slightly overcast but it worked well for our images!

David is a perfectionist with style and his light! He works the camera very well and gives great direction when needed

He knew the exact locations that he’d wish to shoot from and I’m so glad he took the lead as honestly I was gobsmacked with the beautiful backgrounds.

I didn’t want the shoot to end! We were having such a wonderful time and catch up... our last shoot before this one was easily 5 years ago!

I reallllyyy hope we can set another shoot up asap ...

And do more in the flowers ✨

I had my first shoot with David yesterday at Natural Light Spaces and what an action packed 4 hours we had.

I was fully prepped pre shoot with a shoot plan which listed each set, theme and idea and what I would need so I was very prepared for the shoot ahead and Davids plans. Pre comms were great and the shoot ran extremely smoothly.

I got the opportunity to really push myself and create some amazing shapes, which David tweaked and maneuvered to ensure we captured the best of the best. We used natural and studio lighting, a variety of props and a whole plethora of posing!

A very enjoyable shoot and I can't wait to see some final edits as the back of cam images were insane. Highly recommended and hope we can shoot again in the near future.

Wow! Just had an amazing shoot with David at the Retreat Outpost in the Cotswolds, making use of their beautiful horses. It was a very special shoot, made even more enjoyable by the fact that David was superb company and captured some stunning images!

Working with horses is not easy, especially when modelling nude and David was patient and understanding whilst ensuring he took every opportunity to get the shot!

It was a very enjoyable and productive shoot not only making use of the horses but also the beautiful valley and the features it had to offer. David is great to work with and very collaborative and having worked with him before I feel we are really building a great working rapport and that shows in the pics we were getting.

Really great to meet Charlesphoto for his first shoot with us today. Communication before the shoot, well in advance with very clear instructions of what he wanted to achieve from the studio. Professional from start to finish and had a great working relationship with the model.

I had a lovely time shooting with David a few weeks ago. His pre-shoot communications were great and he went to a lot of effort planning locations meticulously before the shoot, he sent over a very comprehensive shoot plan so I knew exactly what the plan was and the style of images he wanted to create :)

On the day of the shoot David arrived bang on time and from the get-go he was friendly, fun and lovely company. The first location we arrived at had some extremely high winds but we managed to get some lovely images and because of David's great planning we immediately had a second location we could move to. During shooting David takes great care setting up his shot, testing out different angles and settings to ensure he gets the perfect image, he communicates his ideas very clearly and well to me as the model and together it means we achieved lots of beautiful sets. David is full of enthusiasm and come rain, wind or shine, tonnes of undergrowth/ferns he is positive, full of energy and won't stop till he gets the winning shot! :)

I had a lovely time shooting with David, he was excellent company, a great photographer and I'd recommend him to all.

As usual David had planned everything meticulously but on the day he was happy to adjust the plans according to the light we had available.

I find David really easy to get along with, he is very kind, friendly, open, chatty and warm and I finished our shoot feeling fantastic.
