Professional every time !

My third shoot with David and as conversations went to day... not my last.

David had discussed a proposed shoot a while back and asked me if I could help set up the shoot as he wanted a real life artist within his studio with myself modelling. The wish was easily granted and on of the images already up and on line. An easy shoot in repour as always and although I arrived a little glum after not feeling too well this year, I left with a spring in my step again. Therefore I am now very excited that I will hopefully also get to act out some shoot ideas of my own hopefully with David as nothing seems to get I the way of his passion......lovely guy ……

I had a lovely two hour shoot with David just today at my home studio!

We worked our way through as many different ideas as we could- sticking to the shoot Plan David had sent me a few weeks prior to today.

The shoot flew by, we got loads of lovely shots and had a good catch up too!

Looking forward to seeing the results and hopefully working with David again some time soon :)

Scarlot Rose

It's been quite some time since I worked with Charlesphoto but I was delighted when he booked onto an "Introduction to Shibari" workshop I recently ran with ChristianRed at NLS.

On the day we covered both practical tuition and portfolio builder style imagery. Charlesphoto came well prepared and was very happy to participate, take on instruction/suggestions and picked up the new skills quickly! We covered a simplified single column tie using a reef knot and a decorative leg tie, both of which he picked up well and I was impressed by his eagerness to study! The shoot then consisted of photographing me in variations of these ties (rigged by Christian) and later a full flight suspension (rigged by Christian). Both set-ups were completely different and Charlesphoto engaged fully with the workshop and was great to have as an attendee!

Happy to recommend him to others (as a photographer) and I'd also be happy to see him practicing the ground-based rope work in photos too! :D

CharlesPhoto attended a recent 'shooting shibari' workshops I ran with Scarlot Rose. The workshop consisted of learning to tie a couple of floor ties followed by a couple of portfolio building segment of Scarlot and I tying together.

CharlesPhoto threw himself into both elements - by the end of the practical class he'd understood the ties well and was reproducing them smoothly. Throughout the practical element he was incredibly respectful of myself, Scarlot, and the other photographers taking the class. He engaged with the subject matter, asked thoughtful questions and collaborated well with Scarlot and myself.

Based on what I saw from the back of camera, he took some lovely images.

Hopefully we will meet again at some point.

I would like to start off by saying, what a wonderful chap!

David had such an impact on me. Honestly, Pre comms were spot on, we had a call, we went back and forth in logistics through PP messages. Ideas and anything that needing clarifying you were able to very quickly. He is literally a dream to communicate with.

Come shoot day and David maintained, if not excelled, a fabulous impression already left with me! So easy to talk to, happy to give direction of what he wanted as well as listen to my crazy ideas and when we got warmed up...oh boy, magic!

David is a really creative soul and has such passion for he does. When in the right environment and on the same wavelength, that really shone through. Mix that with his photography talents and eye for angles and details...you've got some ace shots!

Absolutely recommend the lovely David and look forward to organising another epic shoot!

Charles contacted me about a last minute shoot today after being let down last minute. Took some rearranging but it was a pleasure to finally meet and work with David after our paths initially crossed many months ago.

He was concise in his communication, getting as much information to me as possible in such a short space of time. He was outside waiting for me upon arrival and was polite and respectful throughout. We covered several themes and the time flew.

I had a great shoot with David at The Attic Studio. Pre-communications were perfect, he gave me a plan of exactly how he wanted the shoot to go so I was prepared.

During the shoot David was friendly, funny & respectable and made me feel comfortable.

I can’t wait to see some of the images as they looked great on the back of the camera, and I highly reccommend him to any model :)

Great to have David back at the studio, this time for our birthday bash. Always polite and respectful to all.

As this was an open evening, we had food and drink and good conversation to share while others shot. Great guy and always welcome back. Hope to see you soon.

The Attic Studio

This is a double reference for David after a couple of shoots in the past few days. David is a regular and has taken many hours studio time. Alway very well organised and great pre shoot comms so everyone knows what is to be expected of the shoot which we love as we can get the first set ready before anyone arrive ensuring a prompt start.

We look forward to his return and recommend to all.

Today I had a shoot with David and it was pleasure to work with him. He is a very nice person and good photographer. Friendly and easy going. we had a great communication before and trough the shoot. We put our ideas together and made some lovely photos. Highly recommended.

My second shoot with David and it was a second time pleasure. Always so very professional with an excellent detailed shoot plan made packing easy. He booked the Attic studio which was clean, heating, tea on hand and a beautiful changing room with place to hang cloths and lots of space on the dressing table.....even socks to keep your feet clean !

All in all a great and varied shoot and have even seen some results back already.

David discussed a second shoot project with me I was very excited about and have put wheels into motion immediately as I have no hesitation it will be every bit as beneficial !

The Attic Studio

David was at our studio today after taking advantage of our block booking discount. Pre shoot communications and shoot plan were excellent so we were able to set the studio up ready for his first set prior to arrival. A very polite and considerate chap to not only us as the host but the model too.

Clear ideas of what he wanted to achieve and how to get those results. He had 4 sets planned and we could quickly set the next set as the model changed to minimise down time. A welcome guest to the studio and happy to recommend to others.

David booked in to shoot on my duo day with Brunutty at NLS the other week. This was our second shoot, and like before David's pre comms were great and he sent a very detailed shoot plan over we shot a bit of art nude, a lot of soft gg and a bit of fetish/ballet too so got a lot done in a couple hours! David was respectful of our levels and we all had a giggle, top guy and would shoot again :)

David booked a sunrise outdoor nude shoot with me recently up near Rugby! It was freezing!! But David was great, very compassionate by letting me have breaks, he brought hot coffee and let me warm in the heated seats in the car when necessary. He had done a lot of research on the areas he wanted to use beforehand which was a great help and made the proceedings go very smoothly on the day. A total gent, happy to recommend.

I worked with the lovely David finally!

We had already met previously but we finally got our chance on a group shoot at Map Studios organised by Shef.

David was so easy to shoot with, he gives easy to understand direction but allowed me to free flow into my poses and use my creativity. He worked hard to make sure he got the perfect shot, focusing on making sure he didn't crop anything out and asking to re shoot a pose if he did - for me this is a sign of a dedicated photographer and I appreciate working with someone like him :D

He is polite, respectful, friendly and worked really well with the groups dynamic.

Highly recommended and I hope we can organise a 1-2-1 shoot at one point!

Had a great shoot with Charles, the images he took from what I could see, had real atmosphere ,he put a lot of thought into the lighting ,and overall theme of the photo .Time went very fast ,he was very respectful of my levels .on time and prepared with props of his own and I got to enjoy one of them a sponge cake ,comm were excellent looking forward to seeing the images I would very much recommend Charles .

I had my first ever shoot with David while attending a models weekend in Sandon Studio. What can I say, working with David was a real pleaure !

I kind of knew David from purple port and his comments that he posted on many of my pictures so it was a great chance to finally see him in a real life and thank him for all kind words :)

David as I thought was a lovely person to work with! Really easy going, polite, with plenty of ideas ! He was really down to earth, cheerful and we got on really really well. The only thing was...that I wanted to call him Charles all the time, I hope he can forgive me this !

My first shoot with David was quite an experience !

His communication was spot-on and his direction was well communicated.

He was very patient with my lack of head for heights as I clung to the rocks as we climbed the Peak District before sunrise {the good thing was I couldn't see the drop ! }

I am hoping persistence wins through and we have some lovely shots !

Looking forward to working with David again as he is a very well balanced person to be with.
