What a fantastic shoot I had with Dave yesterday, just a total blast. I lost count how many amazing shoots we have had and each one is very memorable and special as Dave is super creative and enthusiastic about our shoots.

Pre-communication was on spot as always and Dave was very responsive and suggested so many great ideas and got so many props that it felt like Christmas is coming.

Dave always takes care of my well being during our shoots, and the studio is always warm and coffee is on hand.

Dave is obviously a talented photographer with a huge amount of knowledges about photography, he can set up whatever light we need and did more than couple light changes so our photos looked diverse and beautiful.

I can’t believe how great a set with red dress looked like, and again Dave provided all outfits and even red balloons so everything complimented my look. We also had a lot of fun shooting “Puss in the boots” set, that was a fantastic experience and casino shoot was also very much enjoyable and full of joy.

Can’t wait to shoot with Dave again, many thanks

The shoot flew by we had lots of fun. Great company. Great music. We flow together very nicely and in turn produce some stunning results. I love working with dave he’s lovely and he’s very passionate about what he does and very good too.

I am super happy with my shoot with Dave, it was the best experience for beginning of 2024, thanks Dave. It is a real pleasure shooting with Dave, he is 100% dedicated to what he is doing for each shoot and his photography shows it, as he is very creative and authentic photographer with professional approach to his shoots. So this was our third shoot and of course I am very happy with how it went like. Dave provided some amazing outfits and props for our shoot and his lighting was just amazing so we implemented two completely different looks .Dave treated me really well and a studio was very warm and comfy. We did some amazing sets, and wow what a success. Photos looks fabulous and I am delighted with results.

Time just flew away from us, I did enjoy our shoot and can’t wait to shoot with Dave shortly again 🤩

I shot with dave for The first time today, he collected me from Cheltenham spa train station, where the lovely steak bake from Greggs to warm My insides.

We had it off immediately, having a lot of laughs and chats He is a very lovely person, his smile lights up the room

Working with Dave was effortless, the shoot flew by, and the results were just super. He captured me perfectly. Can’t wait to see the final results, and already looking forward to shooting with dave again.

He came fully prepared with lots of ideas and we changed up the lighting a lot to get lots of different styles which I love

I worked with Dave alongside photographer "orpentor" (John) at my lovely little studio "Heavenly Bodies Studio" the other day and had such a FUN, mad, crazy and creative shoot!

It was my first time working with Dave so I am always a little nervous but I had worked with John prior who recommended Dave highly.

From first introductions (and offerings of Sherbet lemon sweets!) John and Dave worked perfectly as a team and were very respectful; making sure I was happy and comfortable.

As a person Dave is a joy to work with and be in the company of; kind, professional and a gentleman.

Together we explored a range of fashion, stockings and Bettie Page film noir! It was such an enjoyable half day and I went away smiling!

Thankyou Dave and I really hope we work together again soon! Highly recommended to all, Helen x

Had another fantastic shoot with Dave. We photographed such a wide variety of ideas starting with a retro look and Dave is really open to suggestions and working together to achieve the look which is great. We shot some stunning black and white photos (of course!) using a metal ladder and a sequin dress but it worked so well! Had a little wonder around the building to shoot with whatever we thought worked. Listened to some good music as always.

Today I had another fantastic shoot with Dave!!!

I have mentioned it many times before, how great, creative, polite and fun to work with he is, an I can openly admit that he's one of me favourite photographers to work with ☺️

Today Dave surprised me with another brilliant idea - swing chair!!! And for the first time ever we've also shoot outdoors in ABSOLUTELY stunning location!! I had a chance to see all the images already and they're great!

Couldn't recommend him enough!

The amount of times I’ve shot with Dave & left references (glowing ones at that) I feel like speaks for itself. Time shooting with Dave absolutely flies bye and I’m always left wondering how we always come away with more ideas than we started with… it is so hugely due to sheets with Dave being SUCH a collaborative approach. As I have been a model for quite some years now, I have picked up on quite a lot of info about lighting techniques and have some tips and tricks- but it’s actually pretty rare for Photographer to value your opinion on that so highly and be willing to try things completely your way- even after the number shoots we have had I still love to shoot with Dave, and the way that we do shoot is like a breath of fresh air! Thanks Dave

First time shooting with Dave at Millhouse studios and I have to say, he was a bundle of energy, positivity and professional at all times.

Dave wanted to create 1930s/1940s images and being a huge black and white fan myself, I absolutely loved it! Dave is a real perfectionist but I have to say, he nailed all the ideas we wanted to try and the results were beautiful. I had lots of fun throughout the day as Dave is so easy to get along with and has a lovely nature.

Would of course recommend and would love to shoot again,

Very unfortunately, I recently broke one of my fingers and so have been in a finger and wrist splint for awhile (way too long). I have lost work because of this injury, but when I mentioned it to Dave before our shoot he ensured me we could work around this no problem- and work around it, we did! Dave is brilliant at accommodating a models needs always, but this was particularly highlighted whilst I had this injury, his kindness and understanding really highlighted, adapting the shoot as we go, but still keeping the same energy and element of fun. We were both so pleased (as we normally are) at the results we produced, even more so because we both knew we were hiding an injury. Couldn’t have asked for a better reaction from Dave - who always goes the extra mile (in this case, he bought me some magic pain, relieving cream!…) thanks Dave

Yet another fantastic shoot with Dave! But honestly expected nothing less 😉

This time we have prepared a plan while ago, communication was brilliant and we were both super excited to create something new. Dave's not only arranged everything, including one of the outfits for me, but also knew exactly how to capture a perfect moment, set up the lights etc. I have seen some results already and it exceeded my expectations!!!

Dave is absolutely brilliant photographer and a lovely person, couldn't recommend him enough!

Okay so I obvisously love working with Dave- we've had lots of shoots together and I have written him lots of GLOWING References- because I cannot recommend him enough. This is a quadruple ref- so GLOWING x4- yes we shot for 4 days in a row and honestly the time flew by, really!!

I normally work with Dave when visiting family in the Gloucestershire area but this time Dave travelled a long way up to shoot with me at my base in the NW- testament to the kind of guy he is- willing to go the extra (lot) of miles to get the right shot- literally!!

We had 4 shoots over 4 days, we shot sooo many concepts and had so many great ideas, what I loved about them was exploring the new space but mostly how unique and 'ours' all those concepts were. Working with Dave is SUCH a highly collaborative job- making it so enjoyable and always leaves me buzzing after each shoot, being so highly valued as a model by a photographer you admire is so great and I think that relationship makes for such great images and a desire to keep working together.

Over these 4 days of shooting we shot for many hours- one day we shot for 9 consecutive hours and it really never felt like a job/hard task- this is I believe partly hugely due to Daves deep appreciation and care for the person he's working with- he understands and hugely values what you're doing and allows mental space (around the excitement about the shoot) to consider you- being warm/ needing a break at all times- meaning I didn't mind doing things such as being cold for a shot before 7am- because I trust Dave enough that he would think of my needs to be warm again/need a break after that.

The results we've got from these shoots are so fab, I can't wait to continue sharing the images over the next few weeks- what's so nice to see is in the early feedback we have received that our friendship and rapport shines though in the images- enough for others to recognise it and be engaged in them. Honestly I have lots more ideas I could shoot with Dave- both at that location and the studio we normally shoot at and I look forward to all (or most) of those crazy concpets being realised, thanks Dave for a great few days. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Had an amazing shoot with Dave! He’s always so enthusiastic about shooting, I absolutely love that about him! He’s so easy to work with, one of the kindest people you’ll meet, has brilliant ideas and also really appreciates models input. Every lighting set up that we did was amazing and creative. Honestly so pleased with the images we created together! It’s going to be an absolute pleasure going through the images and most definitely looking forward to another shoot with Dave!

So I’ve worked with Dave a lot now and there are a lot of glowing refs on here from me so at the risk of repeating myself Dave is fab!

When I first started shooting with Dave he had only ever worked with a model alongside a Tutor- we got along straight away and have never looked back. In the time I have worked with him he’s improved so much, in confidence and ability- now whatever theme or vision we have (no matter how whacky) we execute it really well and then are both so pleased with the results. As I’ve said before Dave’s willingness to try things and listen to others is a huge part of this improvement, can’t wait to see what other madness we conjure up in the future, thanks Dave

We've recently had another amazing shoot with Dave and I can't recommend him highly enough!

Shoot with him are always fun (and turns up 4h are not enough anymore haha) and creative - he're never out of ideas (and Jaffa cakes 😉). Dave can create amazing images from unexpected stuff such as giant bean bag!! He's also very patient, especially when model can't jump lol

Okay this is a QUADRUPLE reference… I honestly think I’ve said it all before but shooting with Dave has to be one of my favourite jobs, it doesn’t feel like work. A part of that is how nice and easy to talk to he is but I think for me, it’s so rare to work with someone who deeply understands and appreciates the skill that I have as a model and really care about my opinions and POV.

We did a good mix of crazy and ‘normal’ themes this time and I enjoyed them all just as much as the other- I don’t think there’s a shoot I wouldn’t be excited for with Dave- and that I’m dying to see the results of (which are always fab) thanks Dave- until next time!..
