I can't believe it had been 3 years since me and Helen last worked together!

Time has flown by and when we reunited for the recent trip to Spain, it was as if no time had passed at all- certainly a sign of a good friendship :)

Helen is absolutely hilarious and so easy to talk to! It's very rare there will be any awkward silences around her :P but she's just so full of knowledge, I find listening to her wise words and experiences intriguing :)

As a model, she is so flawless, natural and brilliant. Her posing and expression is always on point and her make up skills are excellent!

I would be incredibly surprised if someone were to be disappointed from having a booking with her!

Thank you for everything Helen - especially the wig! ♥

I met Helen for the first time last week for the Solo Studio Spain trip, she gave me so much advice and really made me feel secure. She's a very versatile model and such a lovely woman to talk to, we got on straight away and related to each other. I'm so glad we're so close so we can meet up again soon! I know I can always count on her for help and advice ♥

We've already discussed some duo shoot ideas and I can't wait to collaborate with Helen again in the future!

For a whole week i was given the opportunity to with this inspirational woman. She is amazing, very talented and bubbly. Helen took the time to get to know me and became great friends. She also helped me how to improve my shapes and poses in photos which I am very grateful for. We had a great time and sent everyone crazy with our funny, talented singing and dancing.

I am sad that Helen lives so far away but we plan to meet up very soon to re shoot! Which I am very excited for.

Would i recommend Helen? Hell Yeah! Shes is amazing.❤

What can I say about Helen that hasn't already been said before. I shot with Helen on a few photoshoots while out in Spain for a week, and while each shoot had a different style and location, Helen had an outfit and attitude to match each shoot. Whether it be shooting by the pool, getting up early for a sunrise, or riding a horse, Helen brought her own unique take to each shoot and I'm thrilled with the images we produced. The shoots were always good fun and Helens attitude was always professional, wanting to make sure we got the shot before moving on. It's a shame we live quite far away from each other, or I'm sure we would be working together more often, but I'll be keeping an eye out for when she's up this way next and try to fit something in.

Always a hoot with Helen, great banter and much to converse about.

Taking the role of Mother Hen on our recent Spain trip, we had her doing the washing and hanging it out to dry, just like a proper holiday should be!

Not my first time shooting with this professional, won't be my last.

She's edgy, diverse, neutral, jagged, random, thoughtful and sometimes, can talk the hind legs off a donkey! :D

2nd shoot with Helen, very versatile and willing to both take direction and add her own ideas. Both shoots have been in her own home, which was excellent for two reasons, first most of my images are either studio based or in my own home, secondly her housemate supplied home made soup and brownies. My second shoot with this amazing model and that's not nearly enough :-)

Despite it being 21 months since our last shoot, we picked up exactly where we left off... back in "the zone" before the shoot had even started (Helen's talent for reading my mind extended to having packed the outfits I wanted before I'd even asked for them)! Our 3 hours together simply flew by, a brilliant mix of chat, laughter and amazing image-making.

350+ references before this will tell you how professional, hard working and lovely to work with Helen is. They are all true! She is an extremely versatile model and her experience on both sides of the camera makes for a truly collaborative way of working, highly productive with results as good as they possibly can be.

Highly recommended to newbies and experienced photographers alike. Already planning our next shoot!

An Eye for Beauty

We haven't shot together for 18 months, but this was our 8th shoot and we hit the time running. I rather mourned the loss of Helen's lovely auburn hair, but my goodness I love the new look - currently blonde with a blue tinge! She probably won't like the adjective, but I think with her short hair she looks really 'sweet'. Three hours covered a whole range of genres and I am thrilled with the results. It was like meeting up with a good friend again, and I adore working with her. Helen has such a wide range of 'looks' and 'modes' and it is never a dull moment, so I could have gone on for another 3 hours and not noticed. No so long until our next encounter - promise!

Oxford Road Studio

Helen recently shot at the studio with Georgian Historian and Somersetman. It was a pleasure to see Helen again. Straight to work with each photographer producing great results with extremely useful creative input. Very highly recommended and my only regret is that I didn't get to shoot with Helen on this occasion!

Great 2nd shoot (3rd meeting) with Helen! We got along great even on our first meeting, and i'm happy to have been able to work with her for 4 days in total now. There are times she may need to slow down on a full day shoot, but she makes up for that with her energy for the rest of the shoot! She is full of ideas and brilliant ones, too! Very easy to make conversation and really down to earth.

Me and Helen have decided to work together in the very near future and im sure it will be a massive success!

As models go Helen is without doubt one of those who genuinely inspire.

It's impossible to convey in words just how dedicated and able she is .

There are several factors which must be underlined here.

I have worked with Helen a number of times and with each encounter I have found new depths both in her and within myself. Helen stimulates creativity and is always prepared to experiment with ideas. Her injection of experience and wisdom never fails to add something into a shoot.

She is the essence of what every model should be and I would recommend any new models to study her work both here on Purple Port and other platforms.

Helen is able to be very serious and is certainly an intellectual but she's never dour , her wit is razor sharp with such a quick mind she can make a simple statement which will have you falling down with laughter.

My goodness Helen is real and is a gift to our community.

I adore working with this beautiful humble woman and she will always feature in my version of art.

I always love working with Helen, she’s fun, quirky and full of creative ideas. For this shoot we went off to the New Forest in a lovely old vw camper van that I’d hired for the week. Helen brought some retro style clothes and a bright pink wig and she did our best to shock the dog walkers and mushroom foragers! We ended the shoot in a beautiful field of sunflowers. It was just a perfect day with so many great images I don’t know where to start. Thank Helens, I’ll be planning our next adventure soon.

Helen has never failed to amaze me .

We have just had a two day shoot in which I presented her with a challenging role to work alongside another model.

Namely Katyb .

The chemistry between them was instant and Helen's experience came to the fore which ensured that we created something outstanding.

Oh I knew it was bound to be good but I had to stifle a gasp on more than one occasion as I watched them unfold a lose improvised story guideline I had devised.

ArtHeart shoots are long and hard work but unhurried so over the course of these two days we had plenty of time for breaks and lots of chat.

Off camera Helen is such an engaging conversationalist with some belly aching 'one liners' as well as an enormous collection of anecdotes.

This girl should do stand up!

We now have some classic out-takes which will be compiled into a mini film in it's own right!

When in 'model mode' she just turns it on being the professional that she is.

Helen is a beautiful woman this is obvious but she is also a shining example of a beautiful human being. She sets her standards high and is a role model who lives by her ethics and principals.

To work with her is to be in a happy place and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I had a shoot with Helen, arranged by ArtHeart. We had met before for a bite of lunch with Artheart to speak breifly about ideas and we got along very well. Helens very polite and friendly and a pleasure to be around. We completed a sensual film over the course of 2 days in Cornwall and I loved every minute. It was very relaxed and Helen is very professional once she is in front of a camera. I'm looking forward to working with Helen in the near future.

Had my first shot with Helen today, which was arranged as I was in the area on business and decided to take in a shoot rather than stay in my hotel room all night.

Pre-comms were excellent and I was greeted with a smile and a very welcome cup of tea.

Helen posed effortlessly throughout the shoot and was keen to ensure I got the shots I wanted. We had a good chat along the way as Helen is very easy to talk to and has a friendly personality.

Thanks for a fun productive shoot. Highly recommended.

Helen showed me 3 room set at her home studio, I used her white background. Besides being an excellent model, Helen knows photography and was able to suggest some improvements. We also had an interesting discussion of other studios and locations. Good shoot.
