Helen .....What a trouper.... A real professional down to earth young lady, was an absolute privilege to work with her and have her on board our Electronic Cabaret Tour Promo shoot. It's always difficult to say something original about a model who already has way over 300 glowing references, all of which are all spot on, but I'll try

Helen is a lovely caring human being as well as being physically extremely beautiful. She is also an experienced, professional and top drawer model, but it's what she brings over and above just physical beauty that makes her so awesome.

I am so glad we decided to shoot in the gender neutral clothes that Helen felt most comfortable and "herself" in, as the emotion she conveys in her face when she's relaxed can be breath-taking at times. [pretentious bollocks warning - it was like looking onto her soul through her eyes - end of pretentious bollocks].

I knew she wasn't feeling 100% the day we shot, but she didn't let that impact anything we had planned. We shot out and about on the South Bank with Helen capturing the mood of what we saw and making the most of the lighting. Back in my hotel room she was even more awesome culminating in a fun shower set where she happily drenched herself with a large pack of Alpro (vegan friendly product placement there).

Helen is special. Book her. Be nice to her. You'll come away with great images and possibly a friend for life.

I shot with Helen today in Glasgow. The space I'd chosen was not heated and she was professional and friendly throughout 3 hours of slowly turning blue (we did stop for heat and tea breaks!).

I'd highly recommend working with her if you get the chance! Down side is I'm left with too many great shots to choose from for final edits!

With over 300 positive references about Helen she doesn't need mine, anyway here goes. Well we had worked together a few times before and we worked together back in Nov, it was a joint shoot with Donna J, and it was a tricky one because the shoot was story based with a lot of emotional content. Helen and Donna totally nailed the shoot as I fully expected, Helen exceeds expectations as usual.

A very experienced model with a wicked style and a fun personality that makes a shoot a most pleasurable occasion. Hard working and very professional, very highly recommended indeed. Book now for the Helen Stephens experience!...you wont regret it!

My first opportunity to work with Helen and with absolutely not be the last. This lady is amazingly expressive and emotive in front of the camera, and completely hilarious during the shoot to help keep the brain engaged.

Helen arrived with us the evening before the shoot, so we had a little time to get to know each other, which is always a help for me, shooting portrait. We were able to blether away very easily, and I had the sense of getting to know the real person. Helen is bright, thoughtful, funny and good-hearted, and it was a real pleasure to have her company.

All of that led into the shoot, and I felt Helen got what I am trying to do very well, so that it became a collaboration. I was able to direct her .. I often direct very closely .. and at the same time she was able to be herself, and her suggestions were constantly helpful. Helen is an experienced model with a good understanding of the photographic process, from lighting and shooting through to editing, and it was good to be able to bounce ideas off her through the day. I'm left with the best of problems, i.e. how to choose which images to edit, out of the mass of good stuff that we got. Very warmly recommended, hope to see her again before too long. Helen .. thanks!

Listening to Joan Armatrading singing "Me, Myself and I" while driving to the studio to shoot Helen on the PhotoClassic's Multiple Magic workshop became prophetic when Helen transformed first to Marlon Brando, then James Dean before treating us to Marilyn Monroe in all her finery. Helen used all her unique talents and understanding to not just wear a costume but to take on a persona and become three individuals, complete with their own characteristics.If I master the photoshop skills been taught hopefully the trinity will all appear together one day, but that's another matter.

It's always a joy to work with Helen, she's thoroughly professional, up for a challenge,willing to give advise, tolerant of the lesser talented (me), has a wicked sense of humour. She's also big hearted and generous in her support for Young Epilepsy Sufferers. Give yourself a treat and get her booked.

Well this was certainly a challenge and Helen rose to it in some style.

We ran a gender-bending multiple exposure workshop, which required Helen to make several complicated gender appearance changes to represent James Dean, Marlon Brando and Marilyn Monroe. It was a fantastic day and our delegates were amazed at both Helen's portrayal of the male characters and her transformation to the extremely feminine Marilyn Monroe.

Helen is an amazingly talented and multi-faceted model who can jump into any character idea. We have booked her for workshops as diverse as art-nude, film noir, boudoir and now this and she has always delivered in spades.

Mega-highly recommended.

Afraid this will be another gushing reference .

I worked with Helen 5 years ago and was so taken with her demeanour vowing to shoot again on something meaningful.

Worth the wait? Oh my goodness yes 100%! Helen is a people person and possesses a quality so rare.

I urge you fellow creative folk to study this woman and discover her as a person as well as the model she so obviously is.

The thing that stands out like a shining beacon is her absolute honesty and truth..I have followed Helen's story for a long time and watched her surmount the obstacles that life has put in her path with determination and resolution. I also urge you to support her in her Epilepsy Awareness project. Help spread the word on this hidden and misunderstood affliction.

There are many sides to Helen and each layer has substance. A "blank canvas' certainly insofar as she is more than able to deliver imagery for you in whatever style you shoot.

Initially I approached Helen hoping assist her in with support for her charity work and we shot a video which will hopefully further the cause (Many days of editing ahead)!

We than adopted a go with the flo attitude which became a total collaboration with both parties injecting ideas... we got platinum!

Hi

Had a great shoot with Helen. Great communication before and throughout the shoot. Even though the shoot took place in a studio that was not complete due to prolonged delays by workman. In that way it was “experimental”. Helen took this in her stride and we managed to get some very good images. She is a superb model and has vast experience.

I would without doubt recommend her to anybody and hope to shoot again when the studio is complete. I am sure the next set of images will be even more awesome as the studio will be properly kitted out with props, screens (for image preview) and mirrors ect.

A really fun shoot the time just flew by huge respect to Helen and many thanks for the opportunity.

Although Helen has been on my want to work with list for a long time now, this was my first shoot with her and I wish I hadn't left it so long. Helen is a lovely, friendly person and an awesome model. She radiates a natural beauty and has some superb posing ideas making each shot a keeper. I have long admired Helen's work, and so was extremely pleased to have the chance of working with her. We had exchanged ideas before the shoot, and she had given great thought to what items to bring with her. I cannot speak highly enough of her commitment to realising my ideas, however quirky. Helen is a true artist; she picked up the ideas from my moodboard and added her own special collaborative magic (including transformations with wigs).

Helen is so easy to get on with, the shoot was a joy right from the outset. I truly would not hesitate to work with her again - hugely recommended. Thank you so much, Helen.

When you see a young lady with a 'buzz' cut and you prefer long blond hair it is sometimes difficult to make a decision to arrange a shoot. Aren't I glad I did.! Helen is a bundle of fun, shy, a bit nervous but a good model. She knows what she can do and what you can do and you must respect her for this. We chatted, nearly all of the time and I found her great fun to work with. So much so, that I want to shoot with her again. The first time is always a bit awkward for a shoot for both parties but not with Helen.. Hopefully it will be even better next time but that will be difficult, Thank you Helen - you are a star. !

I'm a firm believer that if you get on great with someone, it's highly likely that you'll get great images from working together. We'd planned our shoot in advance with a clear idea of the concept. We talked, drank tea, laughed and shot to achieve what we'd set out to do. Looking at the results, we reached our goal and had a blast doing it too.

Helen is super cool, a real down to earth person away from the camera. In front of it, she's a trooper, hard working and a perfectionist with her expressions.

Such an easy recommendation to amateurs and professionals alike, you cannot go wrong with booking her, a true professional. :)

Had my second shoot with Helen recently and this time we decided to do some street photography while she was in London for a few days

Once again Helen was a joy to work with,arrived on time with a selection of outfits,she is 100% professional and generally a lovely person to be around.

Our shoot turned out to be short and sweet as I had picked what was possibly the hottest day of the year to be wandering around town,we still got some great images.

I can't recommend Helen enough,and look forward to finishing what we started soon.
