Had a great first shoot with John today. We didn't have long but we managed to get many photos with multiple different costume changes. He had some great ideas with shadows and outfits and it has created some lovely photos. I'd happily recommend him!

We worked through several different sets and outfit changes creating different styles and looks. Pre comms were fantastic so knew what to bring with me. Pictures on back of camera looked fantastic, can’t recommend John enough and perhaps well get to work together again.

Great to see John Thursday evening at Alastair Currills Studio for our low-key group shoot. John was early to the studio and well organised. As we worked through the low key sets, John was relaxed, fun and easy going. He fitted in well with the other group shoot members. John is always respectful to myself and the other members. It was so lovely to see John again after a couple of years! John was early to the meeting point, and we car shared to the studio. This gave us plenty of time to catch up and discuss the upcoming shoot! John is a really genuine, friendly guy, we have always got on well, and this time was no different! When we got to Betty Noir, we shot through a range of sets and ideas, and the shoot flowed really well. I felt completely relaxed the whole time. John and I got a good range of images for John's portfolio, from 50s to lingerie/ femme fatale style to implied almost sheer looking images using Hannahs gowns. John always shows back of camera along the way too which I find helpful. There was definitely a lot of fun had on this shoot as well as it being really productive. John got on well with Hannah and of course was considerate with her belongings in the studio. I've always found shooting with John a pleasure and this shoot was definitely no exception. I would love to shoot with John again in the future, and I highly recommend him to other models and studio owners.

John was extremely patient and supportive during the shoot, which in hot weather was perfect, especially when working with a horse. Well another brilliant shoot with the amazing John back at the awesome Inspire Studios to create some more magic!

So pleased when John responded to my Retro Rob Tour of Inspire Studios to create more iconic vintage images as I knew that working with him previously that it was not only going to add some more magic to my portfolio but also be fun and it was both!

John is not only a brilliant photographer but a great guy who came up once again with some great concepts that added to the shoot .

I am already loving the uploads and cant wait to add them to my portfolio.

Another photoshoot!!! This is becoming a habit!!

It's always a welcoming sight to see vintage photography come to our studio armed with a camera. But today was very different for us. First we had to battle the HEAT. At 33'c it wasn't the most comfortable for those wearing and not wearing clothing, but to add an extra element to the struggle we included a HORSE! Everyone involved in the production of the shoot worked well with the environment and vintage was so very professional and calm.

Always a pleasure to have you and hope to see you again!

Met John for the first time Saturday, we did a out door shoot at outpost retreat, lovely location and the weather was perfect. John managed to capture some really nice outside shots and considering there was strong sunshine he was really able to work with that and create some lovely images in a wild flower meadow. John was easy company and i felt relaxed and in my element able to pose freely with some direction. He was kind to collect me and drop me back thanks so much for a great day really pleased with the results.

Second visit from VP and we are always pleased to see a return visit, because we know the photographer is armed with the knowledge of the previous shoot. VP was right on time, knew exactly what he wanted from his shoot, and was clear on his directions and ideas. As a little treat, we showed off our wild flower meadow which was great timing.

I had a great shoot with John at Inspire Studios during my studio days there.

First we photographed dance poses in some outfits and he captured the moves and the moments perfectly. After seeing that we had captured some amazing shots, we decided to go with new outfits and styles. I love when we can try different things and styles on a shoot. So after the dance moves, we had time to do some classic and acrobatic nude shots with an interior and plain background. John gave me time to experiment with new poses and together we found the best angle and variation for the pose.

He is not only a good photographer but also a very kind and friendly person. I really enjoyed working with him and hope to see him again soon!

I had a lovely shoot with John last Saturday, he attended mine and Adrian's Mini group shoot, although the other 2 photographers couldn't make it, John had the 3hrs to himself. This worked out great has we use the time to not only get lot's of great images but experiment with new lighting and techniques.

John is lovely, respectful and professional, I hope to see him again soon for another shoot.

I had my first (and hopefully not last!) shoot with the wonderful John yesterday at my home; from first communication John was very obviously a lovely, friendly, polite and easy going person, and we started chatting as soon as he came through the door (huge bonus points for offering straight away to take his shoes off !).

We shot for 3 hours in various areas around my home and garden, and John was very happy to me to suggest a few ideas to compliment his own. As you can see, John’s work is absolutely stunning, so the pressure was on for me :-) but John is such a gentleman, so talented and passionate about his work that it made my job very easy indeed!

A great shoot, great company and lots of laughs - what more could you want!
