I first worked with Marie Jean for the opening session at a group shoot last Saturday and although the weather wasn't the best Marie was straight into the shoot patiently working with us to get the day going. Super poses and always up for suggestions to make some interesting shots, fabulous artist, hope to work together again in the future.

Marie is just amazing, her work ethic and professionalism is top class, in what was an eight hour shoot!

Marie posses to camera perfectly, needs no direction, nails every pose first time and uses the lights brilliantly so that every shot is usable.

From creative beauty one to ones and group shoots we covered a lot and she was awesome through the whole weekend, nailing the poses and flowing through them so well the photographers almost struggled to keep up! This was my first shoot with Marie Jean, a group shoot with a Helmut Newton theme, and age was brilliant, managing to pull off the look every time, having just started to work through editing the images there are very few poor ones and where there are it’s clearly my fault. She was enthusiastic fir a solid 3 hours and a pleasure to photograph.

This is my fourth time working with Marie Jean and it certainly will not be my last either. This versatile model seems to take on a different persona every time I work with her this time at her recommendation on her very first B/ G duo day with Retro Rob at PoZers studio near Swindon I had a wonderful 8 hours shooting two era styles as 1920s & 1960s "Look" both of which were modelled with aplomb both by Marie and Retro Rob being perfect foils to each other with their poses although not being rehearsed complimented each other with their consummate style, it was an absolute joy to see two strangers start their sets first thing in the morning and to see them blossom and gell their styles and ending at the end of the day firm friends and colleagues, knowing how to compliment each others style effortlessly, I have a real feeling and sincerely hope that these two perfect individuals will come together and work their magic again and again thank you Marie Jean I not only enjoy working with you but also consider you a friend and dare I say it possibly my " Muse" :) This lady comes highly recommended by me. Thank you Marie Jean for inviting me to a day of pure magic.

Just finished a lovely event at Pozers studio, where Marie was part of a duo modelling team. The event was focused on the 1920 and 1960 styles which Marie pull off with aplomb. Either as female model or in a duo, in this case with Retro Rob 'the Elder', she was the perfect model. Her energy, wardrobe and professionalism throughout the shoot was second to none. I have therefore no hesitation in HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Mari either as a model or in the duo combination. Her contribution throughout the shoot was consistently to the highest standards and meant we all left happy, full of wonderful images and a hope to work with her again. Thank you Marie. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)

I attended Marie Jean Taylor and Elle J's event Perfectly Pastel at The Boardroom. The location was excellent, friendly and very well organised.

Marie Jean has energy in abundance and can only be matched by her level of professionalism and knowledge in the studio. I am not a studio photographer and wanted the experience. I was lucky to have Marie Jean and Elle J.

The day was fantastically organised and delivered everything expected and more. The pace and energy of the day was just right, still maintaining a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. If you get a chance to do one of these days do so as you will experience and learn a lot. Many thanks Marie Jean for such a great experience.

This lady is epic in every way! She organised an event with myself of Perfectly Pastel at The Boardroom and I felt honoured to be asked and working alongside Marie.

Every part of the event was organised down to the last detail. She really knows how to run an event and looks after everyone. Having worked with her several times now each time I learn more and more from her.

Marie is a lovely lady, professional, kind, chatty, friendly and just a joy to be around. She poses effortlessly and at times we moved together in exactly the same pose which shows how well we work together. Today i had the pleasure to work with Marie for the 1st time and i hope there will be more occasions to work with this talented amazing model. Marie is fabulous absolutely professional model and such a friendly open minded person .I am absolutely in love with her face expressions and the way she poses with such ease .I can recommend Marie wholeheartedly !

Abstract Productions

I've shot with Marie twice now, and both times she has proven just how bloody good she is.

On both occasions we've had very good communication, to the point I've drawn a sketch and she knew how to interpret it straight away.

She is very passionate about her craft, and easily gets into character for what ever direction you give her. The end results of both of our shoots are a testament to that.

She's a very friednly, chatty and incredibly likable person, and with her creative edge it makes her all the more easy to work with her.

She is also completely addicted to Jaffa cakes so make sure you have plenty on standby.

I hope to work with her again soon and would highly recommend her.

Having see Marie's work for a while , we finally got to shot at my home. She was every bit as professional as I had expected. Brilliant communications throughout. Poses very well with and without direction.

We shot a number of sets in the time. They style of the shoot was very different to what she has done before and we got some amazing images.

Its was a relaxed and fun shoot.

Could not ask for more, highly recommended. x

Had a great shoot with Marie today. Pre-shoot comms were super, Marie knew exactly what was expected and had given the shoot and outfits much thought.

Marie is very professional, knowledgable and contributed significantly to the success of the shoot.

She shares my interest in Helmut Newton and helped me recreate many HN inspired images.

In addition to all this Marie is fun to work with, very personable, and has a great sense of humour too.

The time flew by but we managed to capture what we set out to achieve.

I thoroughly recommend Marie, she makes shooting easy and fun with great results.
