I was so lucky to get the chance to meet and work with the talented Marie organised by Rapture Photography at Belper Studios. Due to the studio being in Derby I offered Marie to stay at my house and collect her from the bus station. Before I collected her I was nervous as we hadn't met before but I needn't have worried, as soon as we met we got on so well! This is helped by Marie's chatty and friendly personality. It was like meeting an old friend. During her stay at my house she was polite, friendly and just a joy to have. She is welcome to stay again any time.

Her pre comms were fantastic and the night before the shoot we matched items we had in our cases so that the shoot went smoothly. I looked to her to help style it as I knew she is exceptional at styling. Each outfit worked so well together. During the shoot we chatted and I just felt at ease posing with her and each pose we seemed to gel together. She is so talented and it was an honour to pose with her.

I would highly recommend working with her and I hope we get to work together again real soon. Thanks so so much lovely! X

This was my second shoot with Marie and both were fabulous shoots in their own way. After doing an outdoor fashion shoot in Manchesters Northern quarter, I jumped at the chance of another shoot when Marie casted for a studio day at Pathway Studio in Chester.

I was diaried to meet family on a beach on Anglesey but couldn't miss the opportunity of a second shoot so arranged an early very short one hour shoot. Marie understood that I was a slave to the clock that day and maximised my time. ON arrival she was in dress, made up and raring to go.

We covered a lot of ground in that short hour as Marie worked her magic. Such a vast repertoir of poses and expressions combined seamlesly and kept flowing, all encompassing Maries unique signature style and presence.

At Maries suggestion we worked with light and shadow and I came away with images that I didn't intend to shoot and opened up a whole new area of photography for me to further study.

I am so looking forward to the next shoot.

I had another short, sharp shoot with Marie and kept it ultra simple with one studio light and not much forethought :) Of course with Marie it was still certain a lot of top notch images were produced - well I think so :) She's one of the friendliest and most highly skilled models on the circuit and I always love having her at my studio. If there's one thing certain in life it's the fact I will be shooting with her again at some point in the future. Brilliant model and recommended to the highest degree by me.

My fifth shoot with Marie as she is such a pleasure (and easy) to work with. Her comms are brilliant, she works hard at being a good and successful model, is punctual, and doesn't spend all day in the changing room or checking her social media accounts. That is a given for any good model.

Adding to that, she is friendly, chatty, easy to get on with, open to ideas and prepared to bounce ideas around to improve the photo and add suggestions herself. It makes her a pleasure to work with and well worth the investment in Jaffa Cakes ;-)

She always arrives with a variety of outfits (many different styles and colours) so even of you have no idea what you want to do, she will spark ideas with you on the day.

A very stylish and talented model who I can recommend 100% to photographers, both new or skilled.

It's always an immense pleasure having Marie at Pathways and she has definitely proven to be popular in these parts. Once again she has had a highly successful studio weekend. She's always lively, friendly and very entertaining, but totally professional. Without doubt Marie is one of the most skilled of models and can easily tackle a wide range of styles and genres, with edgy fashion and fashion nude suiting her personal style down to the ground. It is certain she will make many more visits to Pathways in years to come as she has become a firmly established member of the family :) Highly recommended of course.

The metamorphosis of Marie from a 1920's female to a male was the fantastic gender fluid theme for this shoot at Pozers Studio in Swindon. Marie was an absolute star and had I not been there to witness the transformation I would never have believed the "female" and "male" were one and the same person. People, if Marie does another of these, don't miss the chance to shoot with her, you won't regret it.

Well, i posted a casting for a headshot model. 21 replies, including the legendary Marie!! Booked her in an instant!

She was more than i expected, more than i could imagine. Absolutely superb!!

Great comms prior to the shoot. On time. Amazing, unique look. Chatty, funny, full of ideas, Faultless.....considering the rain and it was freezing! I even almost heard Maries knees knocking together! but did she complain? I think not! I cut the shoot short as i didnt want to be responsible for her hypothermia.

I can highly recommend Marie to get what you want in your images. Hard working and amazing in modelling mode...tip: just keep clicking!!!! You dont want to miss a single pose!

Got along like a house on fire, born in the same town helped!! Love Marie to bits, already arranging 2 future shoots in the summer.

What an absolute pleasure to work with this Beautiful, talented, and very vivacious model. I had the opportunity today of working with Marie-Jean both on a 1-2-1 and also later on a workshop and can honestly say I do not regret one second of the time spent shooting with her, Marie-Jean is in a class of her own when it comes to posing slipping from one pose to the next with consummate ease with little or no direction requested or required, The pre-comms were spot on her selection of clothing gave numerous choices to suit the sets/ moods of the shoot. This lady is professional from top to toe and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Well that was fun. Marie Jean paid ADWsTowers a flying visit on Saturday afternoon. Being an old fella I tire easily - plus I was looking forward to a right good rabbit, so we set ourselves a challenge of moving through sets at a reasonable pace. Marie Jean poses brilliantly, switching effortlessly from one great shape/ expression to the next, her experience and fine art background cries out.

It's easy to tell why she's so popular, both commercially and in the hobbyist arena. She's down to earth and a lot of fun.

We decided to do 5 different looks, culminating in a shower shoot - always an experience! MJ was awesome! The gap between the first and last timestamp was just over 70 minutes and we created enough images to keep me editing for a while. A super efficient and effective shoot.

Thanks for coming Marie Jean, looking forward to round 2 sometime :-)

I have had the pleasure of working with Marie on a number of occasion now. She is personable, professional and punctual and pre shoot communication is great. Marie is a top class model. She takes direction well, athough she doesn't need it, this lady has imagination and knows how to strike a pose! A lovely personality, nothing is to much trouble for this girl.
