I devised this pose when my friend and muse, Mel turned up for our shoot bruised from a drunken fall the night before, with two new tattoos. I wanted something with geometric shapes but didn't want the distraction of tattoos or bruises to spoil it. I've tried the same pose several times since with other people but it has never been as successfuly carried out. Sadly Mel is no longer modelling. Shot on Ilford PanF 50 6x6 film on a Mamiya 330f with 80mm lens
