I had my second shoot with Ramees this week. He kindly invited me to his house where he has the most fantastic loft conversion which works so well as a studio space with lots of windows. Ramees was thoughtful, caring and considerate throughout the shoot as well as creative and chatty. We got through a few sets but the time ran away from us and have planned to do some more vintage fashion in the New Year. Looking forward to working with him again!

After a fair few years of occasional correspondence Ramees and I finally arranged our first shoot on my mini Welsh tour! He was very kind in letting me stay the night before and made sure I was happy and comfortable. I have definitely seen Ramees’ style progress since the first time we spoke and absolutely love it! He has a great range of vintage wardrobe and props. He is a rarity in the fact that he shoots in film also with awesome looking vintage cameras which is a nice change. Ramees is a genuinely lovely and caring man whom I’m glad to have met, I will be contacting him again near the summer :) highly recommended.

Had a shoot with Ramees today , His pre communication was great, responded quickly every time and had loads of ideas to share before the shoot. He was also very accommodating with dates , which was awesome and greatly appreciated . He is obviously passionate about his work which shines through in his photos . He had a hugeeeeee bundle of clothes with him which i LOVED styling. amazing retro items- great fashion taste. It was a 6 hour shoot which i was scared was too long, but his warm and bubbly personality made the time fly by, the ideas flowed all day and we got some great shots !

I had my first shoot with Ramees, and upon meeting him he was respectful and kind and was understanding as I decided to have a chaperone. Throughout the shoot Ramees took photos from different, interesting angles. He had a variety of interesting clothes to shoot in and as the shoot continued, I found it to be an enjoyable day. We had good old chat about music and guitars, some of the images in which I was able to see looked quite interesting. I look forward to seeing them. Thank you also for giving me the opportunity to shoot with you. I am happy to recommend Ramees to all models.

Today's shoot with Ramees was spectacular as per usual. He arrived promptly despite getting on a train for over two hours to get to me. He came well prepared with a bag of clothing for us to use as well as his various cameras. He kept me in the loop the entire shoot, constantly showing me the back of camera shots (which I can't wait to see properly, they looked amazing!) Ramees is a true gentleman, very easy going and easy to talk to and get along with. We are already planning our next shoots! He's a true gem and if you get the chance to shoot with him, I would highly recommend!

This time we did a duo day with myself and Artemis Fauna at her home. It was my first time working with Artemis and it was brilliant to do so with Ramees :) I love his vintage style and we had a good laugh as well as got some awesome shots!

I had my first shoot with Ramees at his home in Newport, he kindly let me stay over as I had travelled a long way. His hospitality was brilliant, he also made a lovely curry for me : ) Ramees is fun to work with and has lots of great ideas, outfits and cameras. It’s interesting to see how someone works when are using film cameras. I had a good time and I’m looking forward to our next shoot : )

Artemis Fauna

Another full day shoot with Ramees a few days ago at his home in Newport.

We worked our way through loads of different vintage outfits, ideas and even went out to the park too!

The weather was super, the outfits were great and the day flew by! Ramees has also been kind enough to let me borrow some of his vintage clothing for my next trip abroad! Thank you so much Ramees- see you again in October :)

Another day in the Ramees residence ...again a successful one too .

Once again some ideas were prepared , but he is respectful of the models levels/ thoughts .We managed to shoot in a few different places to last time too . Its not the biggest amount of space but with a creative mind like Ramees , he makes it work and makes it look like a different location just by the quirky angles that he uses . We even got to work in his garden :D

Ramees is always open to suggestions and I styled a few looks myself from both my own and ramees wardrobe . Shooting with Ramees is team work , not one sided .

The more I shoot with Ramees the more I get to know , and now ive learnt he shares the love more sweet things ;) so I can tempt him with all my goodies .

Quick note to his mum too , such a beautiful person and lovely considerate lady. Oh and she makes delicious curry to the models tastes too ;)

Had an amazing shoot with Ramees during my duo weekend with Victoria and as always Ramees is a real pleasure to work with, he’s super organised, brings tons of stuff and is full of awesome ideas.

Ramees is the most loveliest person you’ll ever meet, the most respectful and kind person. He’s up for a laugh and likes a relaxed but productive shoot.

I couldn’t recommend Ramees any more he is bloody awesome and cannot wait to work together again!!

I got to shoot with Ramees for the first time last week and what a shoot it was!

He is the perfect host, making sure I was fed with the lush curry he made in the morning, Ramees is ever such a professional and respectful individual who has so much creativity in him, so many ideas that looked amazing on camera :)

Such an understanding and lovely human, who I had such a wonderful time with, chatting and talking cameras (which he has a massive collection of!) - I cannot recommend this fantastic photographer enough to all people, what he does with a camera is fabulush!

I worked with Ramees (aka the lovable "Frank Spencer" :P ) again- this time with the AMAZING Pippa Doll at my home over our Duo weekend!

I don't think I have ever met someone quite Ramees- he is SUCH a fun, charismatic, endearing character who always comes to every single shoot full of enthusiasm and creative ideas! His knowledge of music is sublime and I just love his stories, he is such a knowledgeable person to speak to.

I am always envious of his wardrobe which he supplies which is full of stunning vintage clothing, jewellery and props! I love seeing what he has collected and they are really enjoyable to wear, especially as I am an old soul! The shoot was full to the brim with fun and laughter-I was literally crying with laughter in places!

MY 5th shoot with Ramees (I think) ? ha ha.

I was beginning to think I wasn't able to shoot with Ramees before I leave the country ( in 4 days!) but I am so happy we were able to come full circle- being my first shoot in the Newport area and my last. What a fantastic photographer to share this time in Newport with. We have built a geuine rapport over the months and I know Ramees will always be there for me if I ever needed anything and would definitely be one of the first people I would contact as soon as I return to the UK for future trips!

And what to say that already hasn't been said? Ramees is sweet, kind, generous, considerate, passionate, all of the above and more.

Thank you for my going away card, what a sweet gesture. And the lovely photos of me and your mum, what a sweetheart she is! And it was great to meet your step dad too. I am looking forward to the day we can shoot together again! Hopefully sooner rather than later ! WE will stay in touch by messages and keep each other in the loop with our lives, and Ramees will always be a treasured friend I have made in Wales, and made my stay siginicantly more rewarding and welcomed.

Thank you for everything Ramees, will treasure our shoots forever!

This was our second shoot and we pretty much carried on from our last shoot, exploring more vintage styles from 60s/70s.

I always enjoy my shoots with Ramees, and his curries!

Ramees uses mostly film so I'm anticipating the result of our last few shoots!

The whole day goes by so quickly because we get on more like friends and take it leisurely :)

Always highly recommended by me and looking forward to our next shoot in June!

I had the absolute pleasure to shoot with Ramees for a fourth time. As per usual all pre-communications were excellent and his hospitality was beyond exquisite! Ramees and his mother are both incredibly generous even stretching to make lunch for me.

Out 8 hours flew by listening to some fab music, musical outbursts and some pretty good dancing from me ;) Ramees is lovely to work with and I would highly recommend to any model. His style is unique and fun to shoot. 110% recommend!

My fourth shoot with Ramees recently at his lovely home in Newport !

I’m so touched and honoured that we are aiming to shoot as much as possible before I move back to Canada. He really is the kindest soul and I do enjoy our long conversations and laughs together. I will really miss it when I leave Wales 😞

Ramees also snapped a picture of me with his dear Mum, she is a darling too! So friendly and hospitable and always offering drinks and lunch ! I really love the laid back atmosphere we create and how quickly we adapt to different moods and themes!

This time, Ramees took me out to his local park which was really magical and was so nice to enjoy the outdoors for a bit ( finally feeling more like Spring!) We got some great shots in a beautiful Russian long coat, and with my red hair and the greens in the background were super cool.

Ramees always offers to help carry my bag and walks me to my car- I am so touched by his thoughtfulness.

Already looking forward to the next shoot ! 😃😃 xx
