Randall Hobbet

I am a happily married (more than 40 years) resident of California living in the East Bay of  San Francisco. I retired from an international career as an earth scientist at the end of 2013 and am now devoting more or less full-time to my photography passions. I am primarily interested in dance and art nude photography. In dance I've been working with professional track dancers including many artist of the San Francisco Ballet and other companies, and younger dancers in pre-professional programs with premier dance schools. In June '23 Snap-Collective published a 186 pg hardbound book (A4 size) of my dance photography "On the Light Fantastic Toe." For both dance and art nude I have 2 dedicated magazine issues with Model Society, and contributions to 2 other issues. I also have self-published 2 books of my art nude photography. 

Having  first ventured into art nude while living abroad in Oslo I've worked with a number of European models and occasionally still venture overseas. I would also like to connect to dancers and models traveling internationally to California and surrounding states. My wife and I are happy to host traveling models.

My goals include honing my skills, broadening my range of art magazine publications, and creating additional books of my art nude and dance photography.
