In the Homeric Hymns when Goddesses make an appearance in the human world they are recognizable by a certain luminous radiance, divinity of form and towering height. Herodiade certainly manifests these qualities in this picture taken in June '23 when I spent several days with EllisImages, Herodiade, Aliclaire and Daria at a villa outside Domme in France's picturesque Dordogne region. A very memorable stay....
