Big Shot Studio

Rebecca Tun and Vonny Lang hosted a fantastic Asian Fusion event at our studio and it went down so well with every photographer that attended. Both Rebecca and Vonny put a huge amount of effort into their outfits, make up and hair styling which resulted in a wide variety of different looks and styles. This meant every photographer attending was able to shoot something different and unique to them. The day was a huge success and everyone had a fantastic time and commented on how great it was. The success of the event has prompted us to host another one on the 9th of April and I know it is going to be another buzzing day.

For those of you who are not familiar with Rebecca Tun as a model you should really get acquainted with her work and artistry and seriously consider booking her as a model for your projects or portfolios. Rebecca is easily one of the most versatile and professional models both in the UK and internationally and has one of the most versatile model portfolios out there (go and check it out for yourself). I cannot think of any arena of genres that Rebecca could not excel in. A truly outstanding model of the most excellent repute.

Rebecca is a creative tour de-force, both in front of, and behind, the camera, and while it took me longer than it should have to book a shoot, it was definitely worth the wait.

Pre-comms were great, exchanging moodboard images to set the general tone, without being too prescriptive, and a full day, relaxed, go with the flow, and fashion forward shoot at Burford Manor ensued. Rebecca brought a (very large!) suitcase full of outfits and accessories, and supplemented with some specific items I had brought for a particular set, we proceeded to create some great images, ranging from soft, dreamy portraits, with natural light, to 1930s inspired Hollywood Noir, and some edgy high contrast images to end.

Rebecca is an absolute dream to work with, relaxed and patient, but fully engaged in the process of creating great imagery. The day flowed with conversation and creativity, and while highly productive too, we only managed to shoot a fraction of the carefully selected outfits that she brought.

We have already started discussing out next shoots (yes plural), and I am excited about where our creative endeavours can take us.

A great model, a wonderful human being, and completely recommended.

I have been impressed by the originality and creativity of Rebecca’s work for a long time. The chance to work with her for a half day shoot at the Cottage studio was therefor far too good an opportunity to miss!

Rebecca proved to be an absolute delight to work with. Her pre-shoot communications were impeccable, and she arrived having a very clear understanding of exactly what it was that I wanted to shoot. Not only that, but she was very welcoming and friendly, which made it a very relaxing experience to work with Rebecca.

Rebecca‘s work rate is phenomenal, in that she can seamlessly work through a vast array of beautiful and original poses across so many art nude genres.

The quality of the work she delivered, along with its sheer volume, is most impressive.This ensured a very successful, productive and enjoyable shoot.

We covered mostly low-key classic art nude, with some bodyscapes, as well as some fashion nudes which certainly added some breadth to my portfolio.

Rebecca is clearly a very professional, experienced and talented model. I particularly like the fact that in addition to delivering stunningly beautiful art nude poses, Rebecca adds her own creativity and originality, which really helps to deliver images which are that bit special.

I am delighted with the results from our shoot, and I am eagerly looking forward to editing and processing the best of the best; although selecting a limited number for final treatment will be remarkably difficult!

It goes without saying from the above, that I have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending working with Rebecca to other photographers.

She is able to pose freely as well as understanding directions to help get the best out of the shoot. Sometimes an opportunity comes along and you think "I'd be crazy to miss this" - and so it was when I had the chance to work with the amazing duo of Rebecca and Amethyst! Rebecca has been on my 'want to work with' list for some time, as her reputation and amazing body of work speak for themselves. A collaboration between Rebecca and Amethyst (who I am pleased to say I've worked with before) was just totally unmissable.

What a shoot! I had pulled together a few ideas, but they proved to be just a starter for the true creativity that Rebecca and Amy contributed - huge thanks! My only challenge now is to sort and edit the amazing range of images from this totally enjoyable and incredibly productive shoot - Highly recommended (obviously), and many thanks!

Twisted Fox / Dark Odyssey

The saying goes "Never meet your heroes" and after meeting a few I'd taken that saying to heart. This view changed when I worked with Rebecca. I'd been a fan of her work for many years and was actually star struck when she put forward the idea of working together. On the shoot She brings a calm, creative and sublime energy which allowed us to work effortlessly. Her posing was purely captivating and the communication before and during the shoot was excellent.

Do I recommend Rebecca? Yes!

Pink Floyd Concert “Live in Venice” is an event I sorely regret missing. When Amethyst said she and Rebecca were arranging a Duo shoot I knew this was an event definitely not to be missed, how right I was.

We arranged it for Art Nude to be at my home for the day, this being my first shoot with Rebecca, Amethyst and I have done many.

Rebecca is an absolute delight to work with. Her modelling skills, looks and expressions with ability to contort her beautiful body to wondrous shapes and with knowledge of lighting to accentuate it are legend and second to none. Rebecca worked energetically, offering advice and ideas throughout to make for an incredible experience and creative Art Nude shoot and we had time for Duo and Individual images.

Rebecca and Amethyst who are similar in height and body shape are a dream pairing whose Artistic styles, vision and Emotion shine through the shoot with equal evocative enthusiasm. They are both wonderful to be with and have enjoyable conversation.

Rebecca is most highly recommended and not to be missed.

I am now looking forward to our next shoot.

My first shoot with Rebecca in a duo with Amethyst and it was hugely successful. Working to quite a challenging brief, both models were quickly into the groove, to understand the photographer's vision, and working hard to achieve it. We had a lot of fun and creativity. Rebecca is wonderfully relaxed, a gifted actor, and able to take on a role and portray it well, even in a still image. She is beautiful, poses and takes direction really well, and rightfully can take great pride in her modelling skills. I really hope that we can work together again soon. Absolutely recommended.

Just had a duo shoot with Rebecca Tun and Amethyst. They were excellent to work with and had a great chemistry together with posing and shoot ideas. Loved the way they bring their art to life. Were patient with me as I set-up projection type kit. Great shoot, thanks guys!

I feel like a bus... I've worked with Rebecca for some years and we never got around to writing references. We corrected that earlier this year and suddenly and quite soon after I write another... The second bus arrives right after the first! But inevitable. The event that triggered this was Rebecca arranging to work with Amethyst - an opportunity that cried out for action. I've worked with Rebecca on stereo photography since my early experiments some years ago. Having two people makes the depth elements really important. As always with Rebecca, I was delighted with the results I got, we were able to explore the use of the set they had adopted, the styling they chose and the infinity curve for some personal space and intimacy related work... some quite technical elements were involved and I have always found Rebecca to be patient and manage to find out what I really mean (I can confuse some people!). In this duo work, their figures worked very well together and they made harmonious body shapes with apparent ease. Rebecca has my highest recommendation and in concert with Amethyst I see even more to recommend. I plan to find an opportunity to continue the stereo work soon.

My second shoot with Rebecca (although the first one was yeeaars ago), and it was wonderful to work with her again - this time in a duo shoot with Amethyst.

Pre-shoot comms were good, and Rebecca arrived with a selection of outfits that fitted the bill.

Rebecca and Amethyst worked really well together (I left them to it, really), and we've got some lovely images.

I hope it's not so long before we work together again - I'd thoroughly recommend Rebecca.

I had a photoshoot with Rebecca at a studio in London. She showed up on time, came prepared with a full suitcase of beautiful garments. We had a 3 hour photoshoot which was the first photoshoot in a professional studio for me. Rebecca was of great help in terms of arranging the lights and camera angles. I felt really comfortable shooting with her. I had a few ideas and Rebecca helped me out to achieve the desired result. The photos turned out to be quite well. I really recommend newbies as well as professionals to work with Rebecca.

Rebecca was one of the first models I added to my WTWW list, but her location in Berlin prevented me getting to work with her. But now she's in the U.K, so I wasn't going to miss the opportunity to work with her.

We discussed my objectives for the shoot, & when she & Gerard welcomed me to their home she showed me her styling ideas. I don't think she could have picked any outfits more suitable, her sense of style was exactly what I was looking for.

It's obvious from her images what an accomplished & professional model she is, but I was delighted to find what a friendly & down to earth person she is. Easy to direct she anticipates requests & moves intuitively, reviewing images & making adjustments to get her poses just right.

My time with her flew by & I have many fantastic images to edit, so I have no qualms about giving her my highest recommendation.

The last shoot with Rebecca was a slightly bizarre remote shoot involving a horizontal mirror and quite a bit of lateral thinking... I have still to work out what to do with some of these - they deserve good attention... time will sort that out. That would be true of all the shoots with Rebecca - she was the first professional model I worked with and is still my favourite for complex, fiddly, confusing and bizarre shoots - I have enormous respect for Rebecca's ability to find a way to make what I suggest even more interesting than I expected! She adds some essential style and individuality that is worth more than I can say. So: would I recommend Rebecca Tun? - without reservation, yes! Any regrets? Not having worked with her earlier... not having arranged more shoots... This reference is for shoots since 2012 and reflects work in England, Germany, Norway and Iceland... In Iceland, she also provided assistance in sorting out accommodation, etc.; in Berlin, she found a studio for us to do some weird multi flash, multi-colour work. So I'm looking forward to more work together: I have about 24 hours worth of ideas in my head... and, to be honest, not many other people I'd want in front of the camera for them. (And I have to add that I rather like her photography too - we share an interest in photographing catastrophes that occur naturally - I remember a long session where she was capturing reflections on boat hulls in Norway... I learned a lot from that.)

I had the pleasure and privilege of a duo shoot with Rebecca and Camille Alexander at Studio Fifty Eight recently.

This wonderful duo really impressed me with their witty, intelligent interpretation of the ideas presented and their passion, creativity and knowledge took the shoot to new heights.

Rebecca and Camille are, also, really the nicest models to work with, not only patient, kind, humourous but nothing is too much trouble for them to achieve the perfect shot.

I hope to work with them both again soon.

I had the delightful experience of welcoming Rebecca to my latest underwater shoot. After taking a little while to establish what would work and controlling buoyancy, she went on to deliver some delightful poses with a variety of props and outfits. Even braving a shibari tie towards the end. A total delight to work with and more capable than she thinks underwater. I would be very happy to welcome her back at any time. Most highly recommended.

Yes! What an unusual and fun shoot. Often free flow with lots of space for improvisation whilst Rebecca herself was highly focused for hours following a complicated brief aimed at exploring and photographing inner states. No straight forward task and certainly nothing you can only “playact". Either it is real or not. Rebecca is brilliantly observant, has depth, passion… and is joyfully authentic. I feel we have “on-brief", complex and interesting images only a model with such experience can create with her presence. Thank you.
