Shot for the first time at Rochester Studios this week and really recommend them. Great comms when first contacting them and around the booking and really welcoming on the day, showing me around and on hand if I needed. Really versatile spaces and very well equipped with lighting and props. Will definitely shoot there again.

I spent an evening at one of Iain's lighting tutorials at the studio. The evening was very informative and Iain's style and approach to the information was excellent. With the opportunity to put into practice what I had learnt, the beautiful Georgia Clabon was on hand to photograph.

I've known this studio for some time. It is extremely well equipped with a range of lighting and has several shooting areas for high key, low key, graffiti and an old lift. They organise great workshops and events like the one I just attended where we learned about the intricacies of studio lighting, which filled a number of gaps in my knowledge and was very helpful indeed. The tutor, Iain Blacklock is a very pleasant and very modest guy, who is a stunning photographer and a great teacher. I can't recommend the studio and Iain enough. If you haven't worked with them, you should!

Gino was on hand to help me set up, and was really friendly and helpful as I’d never used studios before. He made me feel at ease.

The studios themselves were spacious and clean, with everything I could possibly need and I managed to get some really good images.

I’d highly recommend Rochester Studios.

I’ve used Rochester Studios many times now and always will. Everyone involved in running the studio is so helpful and accommodating, putting themselves out to help out even at the shortest notice. What also sets the studio apart from most others are the different sets and areas which make the images so much more interesting and varied. The lighting equipment is perfect and constantly being added to. The hire rates are very competitive too ......... it’s an awesome and unique studio ......... love it 😊

My first shoot in a studio and Dave was on hand to give me the help I needed. Studio is high quality, a very useful space with very reasonable rates. Managed to take some amazing photos with my model and I will definitely be booking again!

Another good shoot... I brought a hot water bottle for the model because the studio is a bit chilly. You are allowed to get on with it which works well for me. Parking is good and the exterior is photogenic...but the landlord does not allow nudity. It's also a thirty minute drive from home.

I've worked at this studio so many times now that it's become like a second home to me, and the team are always so welcoming and kind and happy to help with anything needed. The booking process is always nice and easy, and there's a constant supply of tea and coffee readily available which is always a bonus especially throughout the winter months!

I just love the diversity that the studio has and the endless possibilities for shoots that I find each time I work there with photographers we always seem to run out of time to do everything we had planned.

If you haven't worked at this studio yet then you're missing out, very highly recommended by me and I'm sure it won't be long until I'm back again! :D

The set up is excellent with many options to shoot from. During my shoot, I only just scratched the surface and will be returning again, and again and...

Rochester Studios did indeed show up lol (how could they not!) I've worked with this studio for a while now - it is run by some very engaging and creative people and had great facilities. It also has a really good network of models of both sexes who are truly fantastic to work with. They have an excellent range of lights, really good studio space and run some really good events. Highly recommended!

This studio is incredible. It is fully equiped with the most amazing sets. Perfevt for horror shoots. Filled with props. Spacious yet every part has a purpose. I would highly recommend this studio to everyone looking for a unique experience. If you want to get some amazing professional shots, this is definitely the place to go! Well worth the journey!

I had another shoot at Rochester studios on Saturday, and as always the studio never fails.

There is plenty of choices for lighting and backgrounds, with 30+ choices for coloured gels, the cove is such a great size and gives a lot of scope for images. Teas/coffee etc are always supplied and the study is always very clean and ready to go.

I love working at Rochester studios and always suggest it to other photographers and models I know when they're searching for studios, an amazing space at such great value.

Had a great 3 hour shoot, Ian met us at the studio and took us around, it is a lovely place to shoot at,with a lovely old style lift and urban graffiti wall,which we made lots of use, which was ideal for the styles we were shooting, the main studio is spacious and had lots of equipment to get the right shots, would recommend to anyone who wishes to shoot at a studio,friendly and very reasonably priced.
