So happy I had the pleasure of working with this gentleman. The studio was a dream to be in and the photos are of an incredible standard even before edit.

The photos he delivered immediately and some edits came through within days.

He had great communication with me prior to the shoot and kept in contact up till the day checking in. Was comfortable and he also helped with direction where required. Would deffo recommend and work with again.

The Factory

Russ visited The Factory on Easter Sunday and I was not present to meet him this time but we chatted a few times and his communication was 'Spot on' . He treated the studio with respect and left spotless. Hope to meet another time.

Just had our first shoot with Russel yesterday, pre comms were really good. Rus is such a lovely bloke, the entire shoot went smoothly and the atmosphere was really relaxed, yet he was very efficient. He knows what he wants to get from the shot and is great at giving directions, which I really appreciated. 10/10 definitely recommend 🙌🏻

Russ is such a lovely guy.

This was my 2nd shoot with Russ and he once again delivered with some really awesome shots. We had a laugh, we discussed all things photography and more. He allowed for me to have a chaperone which is always a green flag and same as the previous shoot I got to see the images on a laptop before I left the shoot.

Not only is Russ a great photographer and highly professional, you can really class him as a friend. Can’t wait for our next shoot!

What can I say about Russel..?

From the moment he greeted me he was full of vibrant and positive energy which welcomed me straight away!

He is an incredibly experienced and creative photographer and this absolutely showed when shooting together today. My first shoot (and hopefully not my last!) took place in Russel's home which has a variety of different retro moods.

After out shoot we sat together and went through different images that we both liked. I was offered refreshments throughout the shoot and was made to feel so comfortable.

I couldn't recommend Russel enough!

Disruptive_Photo

Russ drove down all the way from Aberdeen to join us for a studio day yesterday with PP: KarrenaX, and PP CQH. Pre shoot coms. Were excellent with numerous phone calls planning the event. He turned up early after a very early morning start to get down to us.

We had a fantastic shoot which was fun, full of creativity, energy, and the all-important positive vibes that my project is based on. Russ entered-into the spirit of this project to the maximum and embodied everything about the ethos of what the project is all about.

He is friendly, open, positive, creative, sharing, patient and has a great positive attitude and energy that helped drive the shoot forward in the best possible way.

We shot digital, and on medium format film with a Hasselblad C500, and Mamiya RZ67, (both beautiful cameras), and a Minolta 35mm, courtesy of Russ. It was great to shoot on film again, looking forward to seeing the results when they come back from the lab. (Fingers crossed).

He is clearly very passionate about what he does bringing three different vintage film cameras (above), with him as well as his digital. He has a purist approach, and you only have to look at his profile to see that he is a prolific shooter dedicating much time to capture images at every available opportunity.

Both girls found him very easy, comfortable, professional and fun to work with, which is absolutely no surprise as he has such an open, genuine and professional approach to what he does.

Vey highly recommended for models looking for an open, honest, creative, no-nonsense photographer that is absolutely passionate about his photography in the most refreshing way.

I have already invited Russ back to come and shoot with us whenever he likes, as he is a perfect candidate for the philosophy of the uniqueness of my project. Positive vibes and Good Karma all the way, and it will be an absolute pleasure to host him here again and hope to have him back here as soon as our schedules allow.

Such a lovely bloke who was super friendly and warm from the get go.

Russ made me feel at ease and I love how he shows the images he’s taken straight after pressing that button which helps as a model because I can see if I need to change positioning ect.

Russ even helped me with my own camera as I’m wanting to get into photography. He sat and let me watch how he edits his photos and I even got 3 edited images back just before I left the shoot.

Had an awesome first shoot with Russ at his house today. He offered to pick me up and drop me off, offered food and drink (always a plus!) and was very chatty. I quickly felt comfortable in his company. We shot TF, lingerie/art nude and Russ was great with direction and very careful to pay attention to details. He even showed me how he would edit the photos, and edited several for me there and then so I could post them on my social media immediately. Russ clearly has a huge passion for photography and went out of his way to welcome me. I would definitely recommend working with him to other models. Look forward to the next shoot.

I had a last minute shoot with russ yesterday. He was so lovely and welcoming. He invited me in and we had a coffee and a tour. We then got to shooting and he was showing me the images as we went along. He helped me with various poses and ideas which was amazing. We then finished up with some homemade soup while he went through some pictures and edited some there and then while I was with him and I got to go home with around 11 edits! I am so impressed with the quality of his work and how fast I got the pictures. It’s such a shame russ is moving next week but I wish him the best of luck and it was an absolute pleasure working with him

Russ was an excellent host, extremely accommodating,very knowledgeable and helpful with placement and lighting setups and kept us supplied with tea, biscuits and fed us some lovely homemade soup.
