Well what can I say about Syd, well Syd has used my studio many times over the years and it was a pleasure to have him back here a couple of weeks ago, when booking the studio he usually books a 4hr session but out of that four hours he probably only actually shoots two hrs which use to puzzle me, then I realised he was building up a rapport with the model which really put the model at ease and that’s when the magic happens, if you have ever thought of working with Syd go for it you won’t regret it as he turns out stunning work, highly recommended from me, look forward to your next visit

I had another shoot with Syd, I think our second one, when I was touring in Birmingham and hopefully we will be able to work together again in the future. :)

Syd arrived on time with soooo many wonderful props! We probably would need a good few days to use all of them! :) It was so great seeing Syd being so enthusiastic about our shoot and so well-organised:)

Working with Syd is a real joy! :) Syd is incredibly relaxed, easy-going, great to talk to and he's got sooo many interesting stories to tell:). We had a very relaxed 4 hour shoot full of creativity, interesting ideas, outfit and props changes accompanied with chatting and laughing!

Syd is also an amazing photographer with great skills & technique, so I knew our results would be beautiful and that's exactly what we've achieved! :)

He was 100% professional, easy to shoot with and i felt comfortable with him at all times.

He was really fun to shoot with, was friendly and we had a great chat whilst we shot.

I had the pleasure of meeting Syd on my travels to West Brom in my Airbnb.

Syds pre comms were excellent, he was very prepared in advance with a mood board and I knew exactly what was expected of the shoot.

From start to finish Syd was friendly and professional. He’s such a laid back guy and was conscious of me having breaks also so was always making sure I was ok.

We shot a range of images from portraits to fashion to glamour and every shot he knew exactly what to do to get that stand out image with every style, along with using his huge light & other equipment brought with him!

Was such good fun working with Syd, many laughs and always good convo aswell as smashing out amazing images. Looking at back of the camera shots whilst going along really helped & got me excited to see the final edits!

Look forward to working together again in the future and highly recommended :) thank you

Had a great shoot during my Birmingham Tour with Syd Miles at my hired apartment. Prior to shooting communication was good and everything was easy to organize!!

Syd was really chatty and easy to talk to and work with. Before we started shooting he showed me some of his work with other models and explained his style so I knew what to expect during the shoot.

We shot some portraits, fashion, glamour and implied shots. He brought along lots of professional equipment. We did loads of themes and concepts in a variety of different looks and time flew by.

More than recommended!!

Syd booked me for a half day shoot at the catfish studios, he was very well organised, pre coms were great he sent me a amazing mood board with all his ideas on that he wanted to achieve.

We got few some many sets and work well together.

Syd is a outstanding photographer and a true gentleman,

Very welcoming, very chatty and easy to get along with.

I would 100% recommend him to all models and more then happy to work with him again.

Syd booked me for another ½ day shoot, worked with this talented tog many times, never fails to impress. He had sent me some mood boards as usual to give me a concept of what we were shooting.

Syd was already at the studio as I got there, getting thing ready, went through the plan of attack. Syd is super easy to work with, super chilled, chatty and friendly, never a dull moment, all though hilarious stories.

We smashed through loads of sets, and from what I saw back of camera images, awesome lighting and composition.

We also shot some video, of me trying to skateboard, so funny..

To sum up, great photographer, produces quality images, funny, chilled and a super person to work with, can’t wait for our next shoot and seeing the finished images.

Highly recommended.

I recently worked with Syd for the first time in my home studio, Pre-comms were great and he arrived in good time.

Syd was lovely to work with, very chatty and easy going, conversation flowed freely and we got some great shots in too! He came well prepared with his own lighting and great ideas to try my favourites being some dark moody ones which that lighting was to die for!!

I had my first shoot with Syd yesterday and wow, his talents are amazing!! He is such a fun, friendly guy, very easy to get along with, he made me feel comfortable from the get-go and his pre comms were fantastic. He gave me an idea of exactly what he wanted to achieve from the shoot and I think we achieved that and more. He is happy to give direction where he feels necessary and is happy for you to pose on your own accord. He knows how to work with the lighting and how to achieve the best results. Syd is amazing, it was an amazing shoot with amazing company, if your a model thinking of shooting with Syd, do it!! You'll be blown away by the results!

So this was my first time every shoot with Syd.

Pre communication were brilliant I can’t complain at all!

He arrived on time with everything he needed for our shoot.

From the moment he arrived we got on and the conversation flowed perfectly fine, we had a laugh and he works professionally and I was completely comfortable throughout the shoot.

I don’t doubt that we will most definitely work together again soon!

Syd booked me for another full day shoot, I have worked with Syd many times previously, his communication throughout the process is brilliant, he sends over a selection of images preparing me, what he is looking to shoot prior to the day.

Syd is an amazing photographer, very creative and so down to earth, he knows what images he’s looking to shoot and gives direction well as well as letting me pose freely.

Very chilled guy with a relaxed attitude, always feel comfortable shooting with Syd, polite and courteous.

We always have loads of laughs throughout the day, which makes the day go a lot quicker, he is always showing me behind the camera images so I can see the results of our hard work.

I highly recommend Syd as he is a lovely photographer, down to earth, carries his own studio lighting in his car and creates beautiful images.

Today I had an amazing shoot with Syd in Birmingham. Syd applied for my casting and we discussed everything very good, Pre-communication was on spot. So our shoot went as it was planned and I really enjoyed it.

Syd has a pleasant personality and shoots without any rush. He is polite, chatty and respectful photographer. Syd brought a lot of gear,and he applied really great light settings, so the photos are great straight of the camera. Apparently Syd is a talented photographer. Highly recommended to shoot with, 100%
