I had another full day amazing shoot with the talented Syd in Birmingham.

Communication prior to shoot was excellent, Syd messaged me over mood boards and clothing requests, he planned part location and part shooting at his home.

Shooting with Syd is very relaxed and a fun experience, lots of laughs and chatting throughout the shoot, he carries so much energy, I consider Syd as a friend as I have shot with him several times.

He made sure I had regular breaks and checked constantly if needed a drink etc, Syd took me to a few nice locations around Birmingham, I felt a bit unwell during our shoot outside, Syd was very understanding, we broke early for lunch at nando’s.

We drove to Syd’s home, where we continued with portraits, fashion and lingerie, managed to see Syd’s huge collection of fragrances which is just wow. He always smells nice, now I know why lol.

We shot in several locations around his home, got some nice images.

Syd made sure I caught my train home on time.

Always a pleasure shooting with Syd, true gentleman, we always create awesome images, he brings so much energy, ideas to the shoot and listens to model’s ideas too.

Where do I start?

Syd arranged a full day shoot with me in Birmingham few months back. He invited me up for the weekend and put me up in his lovely home, as it was my 1st time in Birmingham, he met me at New Street station. We spent Saturday window shopping and wondering around Birmingham as he showed me the sights of sunny Birmingham, Syd treated me to a lovely Italian lunch which was lovely of him.

Throughout the day nothing was too much for Syd, he’s like a Duracell bunny on speed hahah.

Syd took me to a golfing range, which was fab because I’ve always wanted to play! We had a truly magical time and had loads of laughs. I almost took syd’s head off with a mis-hit. But apart from that, I think I was rather good! Haha

So Sunday shoot day, we drove into Birmingham city centre, where we started shooting across multiple locations, Syd was super keen to shoot fashion and had loads of fabulous ideas and that he clearly communicated with me beforehand, so I knew exactly what he wanted.

We had plenty of breaks throughout the shoot, shooting the second half in an apartment he rented, I noticed Syd energy drop as he realised he left his light stands at home, I quickly stepped in and suggested we use the furniture to prop the softboxes. Syd’s communication throughout a shoot is on point! And also shows me the back of the camera so I can perfect my pose!

Syd treated me to his favourite Indian restaurant after the shoot.

Syd is a fabulous guy, true gentleman, very generous and I see him as a good friend! We had a magical weekend together and we spend the whole weekend laughing!! Shooting/hanging out with syd is so much fun and we act like complete children!! We even got kicked out of Victoria summers... sorry I mean Victoria secrets hahaha!

Thank you so much for a fabulous weekend!! I really needed it and also being such a magical host!!!

I shot for the second time with Syd yesterday and it was once again an absolute pleasure!

The whole day of shooting was very relaxed yet efficiently structured. Syd was very nice company and entertained my outfit ideas as well as sticking to his flawless shooting style.

Because we shit for a whole day Syd was kind enough to take me out for food and was happy for us to take breaks whenever we needed.

Overall it was an absolute pleasure to work with Syd again, he is a genuine character and a talented photographer.

I reccomend any model to shoot with him if they want to look absolutely flawless 😊

It just gets better and better, shooting with Syd.

We arranged another half day shoot, in Birmingham, Syd met me at the station bang on time, we were shooting at an apartment he rented.

I have shot with Syd countless times now, not only is a true gent, smartly dressed and smelling lovely with his huge fragrance collection, not to mention an ace photographer, and valued friend.

Syd came up with some new creative concepts which I just loved and couldn’t wait to post on my Instagram page. We shot some videos as well a photos which was real fun both of us laughing throughout the shoot.

Always relaxed but productive shoot with Syd, as he knows exactly what he wants and helps the model out with poses he wants to achieve.

He is so easy to work with, super chilled…..

He also made sure I got my train back on time.

I highly recommend him to other models out there, can’t wait to work with him again.

I am now losing count on the amount of shoots Syd and I have done, and I have likely 'blown his trumpet enough' in previous references, but I really felt our full day shoot yesterday deserved an especial thank you..

Syd is the easiest person to work with, and always makes you look your most beautiful! Working with him will bring out expression in you that you did not know you had. You will have a lot of laughs, really feel the creative energy shooting can create, and you will get some of your best images with Syd.

And if you say you don’t, you’re crazy.

Syd is and has been a good friend to me as well as no doubt given me some of my favorite shoots in my years as a model - yesterday’s shoot in city location & apartment, where time flew by and I got some of my fav images of all time. He's extremely talented, and is an all-round lovely person.

We had plenty of breaks and he treated me to a lovely lunch. Working with Syd, doesn’t feel like work, but loads of creative fun.

We shot many different styles and locations and the time flew by. Syd was prompt with sharing some of the edits with me and they look absolutely stunning.

I recommend working with Syd - his images look flawless and i hope to work with him again.

I literally cannot fault Syd: professional, funny, inspired, creative and a great photographer.

Syd booked me for a day shoot as usual, his pre-comms regarding the location, date and themes were regular and precise. He even went thought his "inspiring images" list to see if there was anything, I liked also that we could use as a guideline during out shoot, as well as using mood boards for us both to work from.

We compiled a few themes together, including beauty, lingerie, fashion and nude flexy shapes, and decided for whatever was left with our time together, we would go with the flow.

Syd was super lovely to work with, he was kind enough to pick me from my home as I had issues with my car, before then deciding how we would begin our shoot. I arrived with my make-up already done, so we cracked straight on with our beauty work before working around the apartment in the different sets. Syd was not only completely respectful to me, but also very respectful to the apartment - making sure to remember where each item was before we moved it by taking pictures to replicate them when we had finished.

His photography is beautiful, and he was even kind enough to send over a selection of the images for me to go through and choose my favourites (something I am still yet to finish as I love them all!). It's obvious that Syd has ideas in his mind and knows exactly how to create them. His direction is precise, but he was also willing for me to go with my own flow.

We even had time for lunch before we started shooting, and regular breaks throughout the day.

The shoot with Syd absolutely flew by, he was great fun to work with, and the conversation with him flowed so easily. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others, and I look forward to working with him again.

What can I say about Syd.... he’s flipping lovely! I love working with this guy...shot with Syd many, many times.

Now, I must write a silly amount of references given this is my actual full-time job and if you like, writing references is a full time job in itself haha!

BUT!!! It’s a great pleasure to write one for this gentleman, YES gentleman, because Syd is nothing less. He’s respectful of his models and aware of levels and boundaries, so much so he checks and makes sure you’re happy and comfortable with the shoot from start to finish.

Nothing was a task with Syd and our full day flew by so so fast! We shot a huge range of looks all varying from portrait to fashion to lingerie to implied... and every single one was an absolute pleasure to work on.

Syd let me loose with my poses which I love his micro adjustments, where necessary and Syd 100% gets that and works to the model’s style.

His lighting is flawless and my skin looked amazing in the shots, back off the camera was amazing to see and Syd was plenty generous enough to show me images between each of the sets. A true gentleman and super easy to get on with this chatty guy like me so I was a happy model! Fabulous photographer who I absolutely recommend highly and can’t wait to see/shoot with again.

Jump on the chance if you haven’t already because you’ll regret missing out if you don’t!!

Lost count on how many shoots we had with Syd and... as usual, absolutely smashed it!

This time, we shot a whole day from my new flat from portraits to fashion and lingerie. Really enjoyed the day, we had a lot catching up to do from the last time, so the time flew by! I do hope Syd will get a chance to send me a few quick edits from today - I can't wait to use them for my own portfolio.

Syd gets my highest recommendation.

Cant recommend Syd enough! He is such an amazing photographer with great skills and a lot of ideas! We shoot together lots of times now He is one of my favourite photographers, He knows about posing and he will always make you look great on pictures.We always have so much laugh on our shoots, Syd has also became one of my bestfriends and i love him so much he always takes me shisha or for food after our shoots so we can talk and talk about our stories hes such an amazing guy if you will have a chance to shoot with him or meet him you will be so lucky cuz its hard to meet nice people like syd this days! lots of love babe xx

I recently had my 2nd Shoot with Syd at Aura Photographic Studio on my recent visit to Birmingham.

Syd was great to work with and his images speak for themselves! Amazing quality and standard of working from Syd as always!

The 3hrs we worked together flew by as we had a good laugh in between serious work. Suddenly knew what images he was trying to create and brought a wealth of ideas to the shoot which kept things fun and interesting! Would highly recommend Syd to other models!

Well what can I say about Syd, Syd has been coming to my studio for about 6yrs now during that time I have watched him get better and better he’s a prolific shooter and always gets great results he’s got great communication skills and knows what he wants image wise,

Although he works hard to get the results he wants he is also big on having an enjoyable shoot he has a great rapour with the models I can always here laughter from the studio, all the models love working with Syd which is why he is able to get the best out of who ever he works with, it’s always a pleasure to see Syd and I would definitely recommend him, keep up the good work Syd.

When syd got in contact with me for a shoot, I was terribly excited!

I’ve always been a fan of his work and was intrigued as to see what fabulous images we would create together!

We messaged each other back and forth and I got an idea of his personality. Super chilled, chatty, with a great sense of humour!!

On the day I always get a little nervous meeting new photographer, but he has such a calm energy about him I relaxed within seconds!!!! His super chilled attitude and great sense of humour made the day fly by. His attention to detail and high standards made me feel confident in front of the camera and I knew he would only release images I was proud of.

We’ve already said we are going to shoot again, sometime in August! And I CANNOT WAIT!!! As soon as he gives me the heads up, I’ll book the train 🙈

Togs like syd make this whole modelling thing exactly what it should be, fun!! Two creative people getting together, having fun and making beautiful images.

I had another full day shoot with the amazing Syd this weekend. I have known Syd for many years, have worked with him countless times and always look forward to working with him.

Syd meet me at Birmingham station on time, smelling gorgeous as usual, as he is a fragrance freak lol, he’d planned to shoot a little location first, we tried some different and cool stuff walking around the heart of Chinese district.

Syd also bought some nice little chocolate treats for me mixed with some healthier options of course.

Later we then moved to the apartment which Syd booked, Syd let me chose the outfits and allowed me to put my ideas forward, which was nice and we shot more of lingerie and boudoir.

Our banter and laughs never stopped throughout the day, Syd always remained a true gentleman throughout the day, ensuring that we had plenty of breaks, regularly showing me back of camera images.

After the shoot, Syd treated me to a lovely Indian meal at his favourite restaurant, which was very generous of him.

Syd is an exceptional photographer, who has a very creative streak, true gentleman and a good friend, can’t wait to see the edits.

Comes highly recommended as always.

Another smashing shoot with Syd,this time in the beautiful Paris.Had a fabulous time and our shoot went so well we spend more time out without the camera.I enjoy every minute with Syd,there is always guaranteed a laughter and fun.Did some video shoots as well and some bath shoots which was amazing!Cant wait to do some more shoots with syd abroad ,hes my favourite photographer with no doubts.
