I attended a very informative and useful Poppy Field Group Shoot run by Alastair Currill Photography. I learned some very useful techniques, and got some great shots for my portfolio. I'll definitely look out for future courses and have already booked my next shoot with Alastair.

Another workshop with Alastair . I'm always happy modelling for him as his workshops are always well thought out and trying to teach something new . He is always very welcoming and on hand with his clients so they can walk away with as much knowledge as necessary .

He is always very accommodating ensuring that my needs are taken care of too and that I am comfortable .

What an inspiring workshop. Alastair knows how to keep it rolling and imparted enthusiasm and an excellent understanding of the nuts and bolts of getting the best photos using mostly household items to manipulate lighting. I lost track of how much he saved us in studio equipment! A friendly atmosphere and much needed cuppa rounded off the evening for me.

I've attended a couple of Alastair's workshops and I've already arranged another. Alastair is a really helpful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutor with some great, inspiring ideas. Both workshops I've been on have been fun and informative, and the models Alastair arranges have been very professional as well as experienced enough to add to the workshop. Importantly also, Alastair doesn't over-subscribe his workshops so he can be sure to have the time to work with you to help improve your skills and produce good images. The studio is well equipped, big enough for up to 6 photographers to work in turn comfortably and in a great location, with on site, secure parking.

I came to Alastair's DIY workshop with Jessica Taylor, my first modelling workshop and a great one to be involved in! Alastair was friendly and welcoming right from the start and imparted a great deal of experience in the few hours we had. He set everyone at ease and really helped get the best out of both the photographers and everyday household items/ cheap kit to create some excellent images. He is an excellent photographer and tutor and is clearly keen to impart his knowledge to others.

I will certainly be back at future workshops!

I attended alastair’s Bodyscape workshop and was delighted with the friendly greeting and the make yourself at home feeling. Alastair is a very photographer and knows his stuff. Really enjoyed his workshop and would definitely recommend any beginner, hobbyist and even experienced photographers to attend.

I recently attended a bodyscapes workshop at Alastair's studio, with LottiRose. It was a very enjoyable experience, with good instruction, and covered a range of lighting setups. The evening was informal, but productive, and I got some good images. I will be returning to the studio in future.

Countless shoots at Alistairs, he is a great host and studio owner! I enjoy going there so much!

Weve put on a few different events, the most recents being a instructional video for his youtube channel and a group evening lighting workshop event at his studio. Both were fab! Some lovely people come to the events and its always a laugh and relaxed!

Alastair is a fab at lighting and photography so his events are well worth attending! I learn loads haha!

Ill always be a regular here!

The first outdoors group shoot I have attended, as arranged by Alastair, featuring Tiger Lily. It went very well, ran to time and was a really relaxed event. Looking forward to more outside events.

i had a shoot at Alastair's Currill studio today at short notice with the lovely Melanie Bond, Alastair was helpful, charming, left us to get on the with the shoot, he was there if he was needed, the studio was clean & tidy, well recommend to all Model and other photographers.

I attended Alastair's Studio for the first time on his DIY Studio Light Workshop. The Studio is a good environment and looked well equiped but due to the nature of the workshop we did not use much of it! The workshop itself was very enjoyable with some interesting ideas presented, I can honestly say it is unique having never done anything like it before. (The pizza dish was genius.) It certainly has opened my eyes to try a few more things. Alastair himself communicated clearly before the event and this continued into the workshop itself with getting the concepts across well. His great choice of LottiiRose to support the modelling aspect certainly added to the evening.

Great evening, hope to be back again in the near future.

Had a fun evening on the DIY Lighting workshop. Starting from continuous light from a homemade softbox, we found unexpected uses for a number of household objects. A very easy-going and enjoyable evening, with a great model in LottiRose, and we didn't even get to use all of the items...

Alastair booked me for the first group shoot of the year at his lovely studio. Alastair was s a brilliant host, made me feel welcome and at ease, I had everything I needed for the shoot and more.

We had a really productive shoot, I’ve lost count how may different sets and backgrounds we managed to get though! Everyone seemed really happy with the images they took and that’s no surprise given Alastair’s brilliant tuition and high spec equipment at the studio.

Alastair you are kind, brilliant at what you do, attentive and you bring out the best in everyone who comes to the studio. Thank you for a fabulous shoot and the stunning images. I love the backstage shots also! Highly recommended.

I have had so many visits to Alastairs studio now, its one of my favorite places, always warm, always friendly and safe!!

Alastair is a fab person, always making sure im okay and comfortable. Hes also a awesome photographer! I get the best BTS shots!!

This time we shot a Youtube video for Alastairs channel! We had such a laugh, I learnt loads and the photos are just stunning!

I cant recommend this studio more!!

Alastair had booked me as part of a lighting tuition with another photographer as a 1-2-1 session . Alastair organised everything and he is a great teacher . He is very patient , and listens to what the client wants and tries to help them and teach them to his best ability . Not only does Alistair teach lighting techniques he gives a few hints and tips on how to look after the model which I always feel is equally as important so I admire this factor . I look forward to continue working with Alastair ...

Went to a days studio techniques and set up course yesterday. Great all round. Alistair was very helpful and let us experiment with lighting set ups. He was very attentive and informative and some great images were attained. Tea and coffee on tap and lunch provided. Lottii the model was fantastic. Highly recommended. If you are unsure about studio lighting this is the course for you. I will definitely go again.

Another excellent day with Alastair on one of his lighting courses. I have attended this course several times and there is always something new to learn, and if you want to learn multiple lighting techniques then this is the place to go.

The difference between Alastair's courses and others I've been on is the option to experiment with a set-up, with the knowledge that there is a safe pair of hands to help you achieve. So an excellent day with a top class model to make it even easier, I thoroughly recommend training with Alastair.

I had my second shoot at Alastair's studio last week, this time with a photographer called Dave. The studio was the warmest I have ever shot in! Everything is always to hand there, clean, crisp and set up well. Alastair was present the whole time and helped Dave with any assistant he may of needed with set up and lighting etc. Always made to feel welcome and would always recommend shooting there.
