Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

David came back to Basford Hurst cottage last week to shoot with the incredible Ayla Rose for the afternoon. It was a pleasure to welcome David back to Basford, he arrived on time with everything he needed and after a chat and a catch up him and Ayla began shooting.

Once again David worked incredibly hard to capture many amazing images of Ayla, working well with the available light on a sunny day to produce some truly wonderfully composed shots!!

David is polite, friendly and great to have around - We would of course highly reccomend him and really look forward to seeing the final edits! Thank you David!! :D

Elegance

Had a wonderful shoot with Charlesphoto! It was a truly collaborative shoot - easy going - and full of silly laughs and jokes. It’s important to me to have fun as well as being creative on a shoot and I truly feel we had both! I recommend Charlesphoto for sure / I look forward to seeing the results. X

INFINITY Model

Had a great first shoot with David, from the get go communication was excellent and I knew what to expect on the day. David's shoot plan was certainly very detailed, right down to the wardrobe he wanted me to bring and time he wanted to spend on each set. David is friendly, professional and hard working, we made great use of Basford Hurst stydio on the day with many different outfit changes and sets. Back of camera shots looked good and I'm looking forward to seeing the final results. Can highly recommend to other models and studios, thank you David

Having worked with David before, it was a pleasure to see him once again on Michael Morris’ natural light fine art workshop hosted at Basford Hurst last week! As ever it was so easy to work with David and create magic, of which his BOC was testament to throughout the whole day. Dave pushed himself throughout the entire day to capture truly individual images and work in a manner he previous hasn’t. Both indoors and out we captured some fantastic images together and I truly look forward to seeing the final results in due course. Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

David came to Basford Hurst Cottage to take part in a two day natural light photography workshop hosted by Michael Morris, Beth Kate and Lenza.

David arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot. He is polite, friendly and great fun to have around!! He worked well with Michael and the models throughout the workshop and was respectful of his fellow photographers. He really paid attention to what he was learning from Michael and made sure to put into practice what he was learning.

I would absolutely recommend David and I hope to see him again soon! Thank you David!! :D

David attended Michael Morris’ natural light fine art workshop hosted at Basford Hurst a couple of weeks ago.

First time working with him, it was great!! We created beautiful images using the natural light. He pushed himself out of his comfort zone, showing his adaptability, creativity and talent.

Having met David at our open day back in April, it was an absolute pleasure to welcome him to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with studio owner Miss C.

Pre comms with David were great, we had everything organised easily and promptly and David was easy to communicate with throughout.

David arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot. He was incredibly respectful of the location and the model at all times and made sure to ask if he needed anything throughout the day.

David is polite, friendly and easy to talk to and would be welcome back to Basford Hurst Cottage any time - In fact I look forward to welcoming him back very soon indeed!!! Thanks David!!

After meeting David at the Basford Open Day, it was an absolute pleasure to get to shoot with him here!! :D

Pre comms with David were fantastic - David provided me with a detailed shoot plan with everything he wanted to achieve during our shoot. This included ideas for sets for fashion, art nude and mild fetish.

Shoot day came and David arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot. David was an absolute pleasure to shoot with - We worked through lots of ideas and he allowed me to pose freely while providing direction as well. David was so easy to talk to throughout and was keen to hear my ideas. He was completely respectful of me throughout the shoot and made sure I was comfortable.

I would have no hesitation to recommend David, I saw so many incredible images on the back of the camera just using the natural light!!! I look forward to seeing the edits and would love to work with David again soon!! :D

I had a fab 2nd shoot with David last week, this time at AURA (Weedon). Both David and I have worked there several times before separately so we knew it was the right spot to get the images we wanted to achieve, mainly of a dance/art nude nature. We did have a slight mishap/panic on route (separately) as we both got caught in the never ending traffic caused by an accident on the local motorway, but somehow I arrived just in time still and then prepped as much as i could ready for Davids arrival soon after. David had made a concise plan pre-shoot which he had shared with me a fair while ago and so we have time to discuss this back and forth before the day, allowing us to be as prepared for the 4 hours as possible. This worked really well as we had a lot to get through. It was loverly working with David on the sets we had planned; some were an extension to what styles we had previously shot at mine and others were totally new to us as a team. David was also v keen to progress his technique in dance photography including jumps and movement, which we all know requires a different skillset and often lots of patience. David had this in abundance and was very keen to take on my knowledge of shooting this the best we could- and boy did we get it! As I said last time we shot, I would love to work with David again and also recommend him to any other prospective models, studios or event organisers 😊 Thanks David!

I found him to be super enthusiastic and fun to shoot with . He worked quickly and effectively and was an absolute gentleman .

It was wonderful to shoot with David again and we had so much fun! He had put a huge amount of effort into planning everything, sharing and discussing ideas for the day in advance. As a result, we both had a clear idea of what we wanted to achieve and everything went so well. Whist knowing just what he wanted giving clear direction, David’s humour and kindness made the day fly by and the results look as amazing as ever. Thank you, David, for another great shoot! I totally recommend him to anyone lucky enough to shoot with him.

I had a really wonderful shoot with David!!! It had been far too long aince we created art together but I think we 100% made up for that with this fantasticly productive and enjoyable shoot!!

First off, David's pre commes are always great and super detailed!! Particularly useful when on location and have to prepare towels appropriate shoes etc!! I felt totally prepared and had a clear idea of what we were soing, location timing, everything!

It was a very early, sunrise shoot, and I wouldn't call myself an eaely bird but David brought a wonderful energy and enthusiasm which was great to work with!! David had chosen some wonderful locations which had already been scouted - though David couldn't prepare for the line of 17 photographers lined up with tripods all pointing at our chosen spot. David wasn't phased, he asked me if I was happy to continue, with the dull intention of going to a new location was I not happy to continue shooting- i was and ao David went and asked each photographer if they would be upset by our being there, and well, the girls and Frank being out. Luckily no one opposed and we were able to shoot!!

The light was great, location fab - and David put ao much into his compositions- which wasnt an easy task clambering ovwr the rocks ! he was great ! The images are great! - This continued for the next two location! We had a wonderful variation of ahots and wonderful walks in-between!

David is always respectful and considerate of the models needs, plus he is bery easy to talk with and guenuinly enjoyable company !! I can't wait for the next one!

David a wonderful person to be around, If you get the opportuntiy to create with him, You will experience just how easy going and fun it is. A pleasure to finally meet David and put a face to all of those image collections and comments :)

David came well prepared and in good time for his shoot. He'd got plenty of ideas and we think they've been very well executed as can be seen from the images he's already uploaded.

I had the pleasure of shooting with David for the first time last week. We shot at my home and worked through several set ideas using multiple areas of my flat. Pre comms from David were great and I knew exactly what to get out ready in order to give us the maximum shooting time. I had a great time and the shoot flew by. David is not only a lovely person and easy to get along with, but also a great tog and kept me updated on the progress of our images throughout. What a genuine pleasure it always is to collaborate with David!

I have been modelling for ten years and can honestly state that he is one of the nicest and most enjoyable people I have shot with! Prior to shooting pre-communication was great and everything was so easy to organised! He wrote a superb and detailed shoot plan which was very helpful

During the shoot David gives such a relaxed atmosphere to shoot in. I loved that I could just flow through poses and get on with the shoot.

We got a variety of so many different great looks and themes and produced so many sets during our shoot together.

More than recommended to all Models! Such a creatively interesting, intelligent and lovely photographer and person, David made me feel so comfortable and at ease :-) A true gentleman indeed.

I shot with David on my last Studio Day at Auraphotographic in Northampton, what a lovely man!

He was very welcoming and helpful to pick me up from the station. He has such a cheerful personality, is very well organized and has a lot of ideas! Our precomms were great, he asked me for specific clothes for different sets and surprisingly we were able to use them all in just 2 hours.

What an amazing shoot with David - a really enjoyable day. His communications beforehand were excellent and he was very well organised and had created a comprehensive shoot plan which he took the trouble to run through with me before we started. Having such a clear mutual understanding made the shoot run so smoothly that time flew by.

It should go without saying that David is impeccably respectful and professional, with a thoughtful and considerate approach at all times. He is also absolutely charming and huge fun to work with. I felt as if we knew one another well and this reflected on the ease with which we worked through a wide variety of varying styles and locations. I am sure it will also be reflected in the resulting images.

Very much enjoyed a recent shoot with David, who was very well organized and sent me a detailed shoot plan beforehand (he was also patient enough to talk me through finding said shoot plan, as it was a function I hadn't previously used!).

He has a good eye for concepts and composition, and it was an enjoyable shoot with easy conversation. I look forward to seeing the photos, and enjoyed the opportunity to be creative. Would happily recommend to other models.
