Oooh ! I get so excited when I get a chance to work with this lovely man ! ... We shot together on a recent Sophie Merlo shoot and as usual, Horace was professional, kind, courteous, funny, charismatic, and just brilliant at going with the flo and happy to try out new avenues of style and storytelling. That's what makes this man so special ... his versatility. Look at his port and you'll see he's an artist in every sense of the word. He goes for quality in his imagery, not quantity and what he brings to a shoot is TOTAL commitment to give whoever he's working with, the very best of what he has to offer. You get the BEST with Horace, theres no two ways about it ... I adore working with him because you know you're going to create something unique, special and incredibly imaginative ... pretty much like the man himself. ;-) Thanks so very much Horace, was great working together again. x ;-)

Had a great location shoot with Horace Silver, which turned out so much better than planned as the day initially looked like a horrible rainy one , but suddenly turned in to a fantastic evening sunset. So we changed plans and headed for the hills and took some great pictures in the setting sun, and then moved around Cheltenham shooting in the street light. All the time we had great fun chatting and discussing ideas and shoots, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable shoot. If you havent booked or worked with Horace, you definitely should, and I certainly will do again if I get the chance. Thanks for a great shoot

Bad Dolly

So after waiting for what seemed like years, I finally got to model with Horace! In person he is even more enigmatic than his portfolio shows, and like I said to him he looks like he should be in Harry Potter!

Horace adapted beautifully to each theme and I am sure he will agree when I say we looked fabulous together!

There are not enough models like Horace around, he has such a charismatic face he can bring any idea to life, and he looks fabulous in a full suit and tails!

I have just finished shooting with this living legend that was quite some time in the organizing (my fault entirely due to commitments) BUT was it worth the wait or what! YES is the simple answer to that.

Horace is everything and more you could hope for in a model, be it male or female, and is exactly as you imagine from seeing his awesome portfolio.

THE most professional model I have ever worked with from this site, and has creativity oozing from his veins. Horace is so easy to work with both on his own and with other models and he puts everything into it no matter what the situation you throw him into! He challenges himself like no other which is why you see such a fantastic and varied portfolio here.

We did some body-painting with him on his own, some dancing/messing around on green screen for karaoke evenings, and he worked with 2 female models (naledi and relentless on here) for an image I have been wanting to create for quite some time. Horace adapted seamlessly to everything and is the perfect gent when working with female models as I am sure the girls will tell you when they leave their references too.

All in all, a fantastic few days with a fantastic model that I hope I will get to work with again just as soon as is possible.

P.S Horace is also extremely respectful of your home when staying and a huge help on shoots being the worker that he is.

We had a pleasure to work with Horace for the first time last Saturday and we enjoyed it thoroughly. He was patient when we fussed with light and perspective for our composite images, brave to let MUA put a crazy make-up on his face, and always willing to do whatever it takes to create the best possible pictures. His communication before and during the shoot was perfect and we definitely would like to work with him again. Very strongly recommended.

I've been wanting to shoot with Horace for some time and when I found out he was down this way I jumped at the chance of spending a day with him.

The Heavens decided that we should work together on a very wet and windy day so all my ideas for outdoors sunshine shots went out the window and we moved to Plan B.

We spent the first half of the day working through book cover concepts and Horace brilliantly played many characters during those first few hours. By about midday the weather forced us to head back to mine, grab a bite to eat and come up with a plan for indoors. We spent the remainder of the day experimenting, making stories and exploring creative ways to take pictures using old-style in camera trickery.

The results from the day (both indoors and out) have far surpassed my expectations. Horace is a fantastically creative individual who becomes immersed in the work he is doing and gladly shoots and re-shoots to get the results that are needed.

A true gent, very creative, involved and cares passionately about the pictures he helps to make.

Pre-shoot communications were excellent and he is very organized and professional.

I completely recommend Horace to other photographers and I sincerely hope we will get to work together again.

Well what can be said about the phenomenal Horace Silver ?

Horace has to be one of the best communicating models of all time, undoubtedly !

After contacting me, Horace and I spoke virtually every couple of days for an entire month leading to our shoot together. It's amazing to get so much input from a model, from drawings,to creating extensive mood boards together, and sharing images. I knew exactly what Horace expected of me as his makeup artist and costume designer, and this makes my life so much easier and all of his feedback was so kind and constructive, at all times. Our conversations were always such a pleasure and so inspiring, I had a real fire burning by the time we finally met on our shoot together yesterday. "The Damnation of the Dreamcatcher."

Horace was exceptionally early to the shoot and was so very kind by helping me bring all of my kit, costumes and props from my car to the studio. We had plenty of time to create his look and Horace knew exactly what he wanted from my makeup application and stayed beautifully composed throughout the application.

Our shoot really crossed the boundaries of what you expect from a model, Horace pushed himself to his full limits during the shoot, giving it full commitment and true character. He went that extra mile to ensure that the shoot was everything we imagined and more, and I'm excited to see the final images we all have from his hard work and full participation before, during and after.

Horace's portfolio speaks volumes about his varied talents and I feel his character is spell binding in whatever he participates in because he is so passionate and such a hard worker. I would highly recommend Horace to anyone and everyone... He truly is a unique gentleman and model and I really, really, really hope to work with him again when he returns to the UK at some point.

Had the pleasure in working with Horace for the first time on a shoot with jimmy peters photography. Horace is extremely professional and fun to work with. His ideas are creative and expands outside the box. He was very easy to get on with and being the first time we met he made me feel very comfortable. I can't recommend Horace enough. Horace Silver....... What a Dude. This guy knows what he is about... Great model, totally professional in all aspects of the term as applied to modeling. Aside from this he is brilliant fun to work with...Our shoot was ' Jack Vetriano' based with Candi Raid.. Horace got into the vibe and along with Candi added a new level of insidious eroticism way darker than I imagined. I have also made a new friend. To recommend Horace Silver is making an understatement .. Thank you Horace, I thoroughly recommend!!

Worked with Horace and Amber today and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our communication beforehand was excellent.

On the actual shoot Horace was delightful to work with, took direction well and had his own creative ideas. He is a talented actor which helped greatly with our 'narrative' pictures. He interacted very well with Amber in creating the necessary dynamic.

Horace is a very pleasant person who was both professional and fun to work with.

When Horace said he was coming to tour in the UK I jumped at the chance of working with him. We teamed up with Angel Price and covered a range of location and home material. The day simply flew by and we made some lovely images in a range of genres of which I am proud. I am truly glad to have spent the day with Horace and he comes highly recommended to others.

Horace came to stay , and im glad he did .. What a lovely man .. We had arranged a shoot and for him to come and stay with me and as soon as I met him I thought what a nice bloke , we went to stratford not far from me and dropped in on an old friend of mine and just wandered around taking different shots using some of the old shakespere buildings , we also shot in my friends house and in her vintage car which was a bonus , we got some great shots that I'm really pleased with and I cant wait to work with him on some conceptul ideas I have , mebbe in Belgium , all in all , a great model , a lovely man and a very welcome guest , stay anytime you like my friend , see you soon ..
