First shoot at this fantastic and unusual studio. Vast space with amazing natural light from many many windows and packed with various props. Loads of different rooms with varying light so it would be an excellent place to shoot whatever the weather.

I had my first shoot at the X Factory today and I can't believe it's taken me so long to work there! I absolutely love the studio, it has such a great variety of spaces to work from and has such a great vibe! You won't find another studio with this great and unique Urbex look!

I was fortunate enough to actually shoot with the owner Kevin (Shelly) and we had a great time! He is very considerate of the models well being, and I felt at ease to work there with him. We got a range of images of all different styles.

I had my first ever shoot at the X-factory yesterday, I met Kevin the owner who was kind enough to help me out with the camera settings for this venue, as we shot using only natural light.

Amazing area with so many different rooms to shot in with plenty of props.

I had my first shoot at the X Factory today and what a brilliant place it is for natural light photography.The place is very large with different rooms to shoot in with different sets and plenty of props to use. I also met Kevin who is friendly and easy to talk too.I will use the X Factory in the future and would recommend it.

Today I met Kevin who introduced me to the XFactory for the first time.

Huge spaces with varying degrees of light, changing as the day goes by. An abundance of props were also available. A super area for both artists and photographers to imagine ideas and concepts. I had 4 hours and scratched the surface. Thank you for opening on a cold snowy morning!

Last weekend I feel I spent more time at the X factory than I did at home over the two days shooting with two different photographers.

I always feel welcome at the X factory whether shooting with Shelly or other photographers and the space the X factory has gives a huge variety of shooting areas and props.

It's also one of those magical places that you can shoot at repeatedly and even if you are utilising the same space as a previous shoot it will always look different depending on lighting techniques used.

Thank you for the allowing us use of the space and I'll see you again Saturday! :)

Arkangel Creative Design Studios

Had another great shoot at the X Factory. Its the only studio I can use for the smoke bombs and distress flares I use as it as an awesome rooftop area to shoot from. Always highly recommended.

A big thank you to Shelly as they let us use the Studio at a later hour.

What an *amazing* location! An Urbexing dream - with the extra added luxury of a kettle ;)

The space is just so vast, with so much potential to be used creatively in a variety of ways. I loved all the nooks and corners, the walls, the windows, the floors, the props and furniture, the potential. Can't wait to shoot here again sometime and discover better how the space can be used. 10/10 for anyone looking for something rough and ready!

I shot at The X Factory recently with Handsworth Photography and it is such a great space!

We were shown around prior to shooting, so we could get a good idea of the possibilities and there are so many!

There are so many props and bits of furniture to use and metal bars/window sills to climb and get interesting shots from. When I was there I put together endless sets with different items to match whatever colour I was wearing!

I would definitely recommend The X Factory to shoot from, there is so much potential here and variety. :)

Had a super time at The X Factory today. It's much more extensive than I had imagined it to be, and Shelly was most helpful showing us the various areas and also suggesting when the natural light would be best at them.

I'd highly recommend the studio, and Shelly was a great host as well.

Shooting with Shelly is always worth it, this man knows his camera and has an eye for a great image!!!

This was my second shoot at the x factory and can easily say its a superb place to shoot, very BIG space with many different levels in the building you wont be disappointed. there is endless amount of props beautiful lighting the ideas you have walking into this place are endless and it safe to say i will be spending alot of my time here creating some beautiful images. to all models you have your own private space to lay out all your things and get changed there is a toilet and coffee and tea are available and if you manage to bump into to kevin while your there he will be sure to put a smile on your face! i would defo recommend this place to anyone grate space its amazing and i cant wait to be back SOON :)

The X Factory is a great space and large, there's so many rooms offering so many different background, scenarios and props. The natural light and shadows are really good. Shelly was really helpful, explaining options and it was great to shoot here. Be back soon.
