Wow, wow, WOW!!!!!!

I hosted a studio day at The X Factory during my recent tour and I am so glad that I did.

This place is "right up my street" with plenty of natural light, quirky features, derelict feel, masses of props and oodles of space.

Kevin was on hand to meet my photographers and kindly collected and dropped me back to the train station too.

Highly recommended and I hope to get the opportunity to return in the future. :D

I had my first shoot with Kevin in Gloucester.

He is such an amazing photographer!

Very friendly, professional, aware of the images he wants to get and poses he expects from the model.

Our shoot was very relaxed but on a very professional level.

Thank you Kevin so much for an opportunity to work with you!

Hope to shoot with you once again.

Absolutely recommended!

I had my first studio day at the X Factory and it was very successful! It's vast with many rooms of natural light and lots of Urbex character. Kevin kindly set up the changing room for me with rail and heater which was much appreciated.

I loved the windows, peeling paint, props, roof space, brickwork and things to hang from!

I was shooting there for 9 hours using indoors and outdoor spaces and the time flew by. Thank you Kevin for having me and I hope to be back soon...

I booked The X factory for a 3 hour shoot yesterday with Sophie S and had a great time shooting. The main shoot area is Amazing for shooting natural light and is full of interested props and furniture which can be moved around as you wish. Other areas of the studio are equally exciting and interesting (including the roof) So much so that if you’ve got an imagination you could shoot here for days and still not run out of ideas. Would recommend 100%

Had a 3 hr Urbex shoot @ The X Factory recently, building is vast with multiple choices of grimy, urbex abandoned factory / office rooms available on many levels. Natural light is stunning from the many rooms with large windows, plus an outdoor yard and a roof terrace to shoot from. Shelly was on hand for a full tour over the three floors, there to meet me when I got there but left us alone for the shoot. Great Building (superb value too) – Will shoot here again.

I recently had my first shoot at the X Factory.

I was delayed with my taxi and Kevin was a true gentleman; taking care of the model and makeup artist before I arrived. He was very polite and friendly showing us around the space.

The studio is an absolute photographers paradise. So many great textures and angles to shoot along with the gorgeous natural light pouring in.

I'm looking forward to shooting here again. Highly recommended.

Had my first shoot at the X-factory on Saturday. Kevin was very welcoming & showed us around.

Its a great space for natural light & has a great Urbex feel to it with many many props. 4 hrs seemed like five mins, there is so much to do there.

Highly recommended & will certainly be paying X-Factory a few more visits.

Had my first shoot here and wow what an amazing studio. There are so many areas to shoot in over 4 floors.... Urbex heaven!! The natural light is amazing.

There's a changing room available with mirrors and a heater but no heating anywhere else but nothing that a blanket and jacket can't solve.

I would highly recommend to any models and photographers who love the urbex feel and natural light.

Booked a last minute shoot here, what a fantastic location, a real hidden gem! There are literally *so* many areas to shoot in, you'd need a full day even to scratch the surface.

About 4 floors of urbex bliss, ranging from factory floors to management offices with that post-apocalyptic, cables hanging from ceiling, smashed windows vibe.

There's a changing area with mirrors and a small heater, but bring blankets or jackets to wrap up in as it's 100% natural light and no other heating. There is power available in areas so bring extensions if you wanted to use any lighting, but we caught the sunlight and it looked absolutely phenomenal.

Highly recommended to other models and photographers, I'll certainly be booking again for a half or full day - if you're a model that doesn't mind the cold then get in touch and let's explore together!!

I’ve had the pleasure of shooting at the XFactory a few times now and forgot to leave a reference until now (sorry). The studio is such a vast area of creative urbex heaven with so many different areas to shoot in that even after my 3 visits there I have still not shot in half of the areas I would like to. There are ample props on the top floor of the studio including chairs, beds, vintage suitcases, dressing tables and even wardrobes but there is still plenty of untouched space for that authentic urbex feel. I will definitely be shooting at the xfactory again in the near future.
