References for Art Asylum Reloaded Photo Studio

Steve kindly invited me down to his studio to shoot a model he was working with.

Had a few bad experiences in studios mainly due to my inexperience, laziness with the camera and level of photography. But was fantastic working with Steve. Steve helped me set up, set his studio up to maximise my shooting potential and guided me through.

His studio is a fantastic to shoot, some amazing backdrops and props and lots of lights and equipment. Through his help and guidance really did achieve some great shots.

A veritable playground for you to enjoy and be creative with lighting & set up.

Steve is a tremendous host. Up beat, offers any help you may need, and makes a fantastic cup of coffee.

Would recommend this space. Had a great shoot there when I was there, and know that anyone who is in need of a space to work in, should give Art Asylum a look

I visit the Art Asylum quite regularly and every time I go there has been improvements done. It's a great space and steve was there to help with lighting and make tea. It really is a great space and I think everyone enjoyed today's shoot.

This was my first time shooting at Art Asylum it is a wonderful place to shoot at with its infinity wall and separate natural light room such a unique place and run by Steve who is always on hand to help to achieve the result the photographers are after. I had an absolutely amazing day at the Art Asylum, and hope to be back very soon! Highly recommended!

This was my first time at the new Art Asylum and I was not disappointed. Steve is on-hand at the start of a shoot to show you round and help you find what you need. He then left us to get on with the shoot. The different rooms are great for creating different backgrounds and scenes. There are plenty of clothes and accessories which we searched through to add more colour to the scenes we were shooting. Steve is very helpful both at the booking stage and on the day.

Had my first studio day at this fantastic place recently, and it was so much fun! On the day Steve met me at the station, showed me around the studio when we arrived and provided tea, snacks and lunch during the day. he always made sure that I am happy with everything and there was nothing too much trouble for him that I asked. The studio is full of amazing settings, props and outfits and Steve is always on hand to help to achieve the result the photographers are after. I had an absolutely amazing day at the Art Asylum, and hope to be back very soon! Highly recommended! :)

Had a sold out studio day here and it was brilliant! A quirky studio with a lot of character, brilliant selection of corsets too! :) I loved letting my imagination run wild! And it's refreshing to look through the window and see the sea too- nothing beats a good sea breeze!

I will definitely be returning:)

As usual, Steve was there ahead of time, heaters on, kettle boiling - what a star! This is a gret little studio: white infinity cove, bare floorbpards, old wood panelling, peeling brick walls, bed, bedroom furniture, props/outfits - you name it, its got it! Even got a nice industrial steel staircase outside (though it was too cold on the day to use that!)

Nice selection of lights and modifiers (softboxes, snoots, gels, barn doors, beauty dish, ring light).

Highly recommended and already have 2 more shoots planned there :)

Had my first shoot at this fantastic studio in Weymouth, the building had lots of character with brick walls and roof beams and plenty of themes to shoot.

The owner was very friendly and welcomed us with plenty of cups of tea, I felt very comfortable as soon as I arrived.

The owner helped to set the lighting up to what I wanted and was happy to make suggestions.

A very relaxed, friendly and spacious studio.

Had my first shoot at his Weymouth studio when I first walked in I instantly felt comfortable the environment was bubbly and chatty.

During breaks he made me lovely cups of tea just how I like it ...although I didn’t finish them lol but thank you for a great session at your studio I can’t wait to arrange a shoot sometime x

My first time at the Asylum and what a cool quirky place to shoot. Loads of space to work with and plenty of equipment, lighting and props.

The rustic look of the bedroom set really got me the pictures I was craving for.

Great place to shoot. The host is super helpful and very welcoming.I will definitely be returning soon. Recommend.

I've used the studio before as a model but this is the first time as a photographer. I contacted the studio at the last minute after being let down and they where amazingly helpful and accommodating.

I'm still a beginner so needed help setting up lights etc but the studio owner was so helpful, moving stuff about and offering advice.

Plenty of tea/coffee and jaffa cakes made this a very good experience all round. It's an amazing space and would definitely use it again....thankyou.

Had a great shoot at Asylum at the weekend! The venue is quirky and well equipped, with lots of different options for interesting shots.

Steve was really friendly and helpful throughout our shoot, and also makes a crackin’ cuppa! Can’t wait to head back for another shoot very soon.

I worked on a shoot at art asylum at the weekend and it was so much fun!

The studio has 2 different rooms with loads of different backgrounds/options to take photos!

Steve was super friendly and helpful, and was on it with keeping our coffees and teas filled up!!

Already planning another shoot here soon can’t wait :)

Really enjoyed my shoot in art asylum studio. The studio is well equipped and very comfortable. Steve was very welcoming and friendly. Will hopefully be working in the studio again in the near future. Would recommend to anyone ☺️

I used Art Asylum Reloaded for the second time when Tigerbelle came down to Weymouth as part of her Southern tour.

The Studio is a good size and is clean and tidy. It is well equipped with several light and modifiers. There are four areas, a changing room, a storage area, and Two areas to shoot in. There is a large infinity curve in the main studio area. This can be used as a white area or can be lit with coloured gels so is really creative. The Second shooting area I made use of the natural light as well as using flash. I love the different wall textures and the vintage furniture as well as a bed so can be used for Boudoirs, Fashion and Glamour.

Steve is friendly and helpful, and was present during the shoot offering help moving lights and offering advice for lighting set ups. I always find this useful during shoots. He also makes a decent cup of tea!

I would recommend the studio to any creative.
