References for f/8 Studio

Had a wonderful shoot at F/8 Studio in Gloucester.

I have used this studio quite a few times now, and always feel welcome there. The studio has everything a photographer could wish for.

Paul is a great host and always there to help with the lights.

I have booked a few more sessions there.

I used to work at f8 quite a lot before Covid, and this was my first time back working at an event group shoot last Saturday and it stilll has to be one of my favourite places to shoot.

Its always warm and welcoming and there's a clean and tidy dressing room for the model to use, with a few essentials should a model need to use them. The bathrooms are always clean and private.

Paul has a really well equipped studio, with top of the range lighting and so many props you could never run out of ideas! His knowledge of his lights shines when we switch to a new set up and it doesn't take him long to go from super high key to a nice moody low key set.

Hes always happy to help, a good laugh and makes a day at work feel a little bit less like work!

I always feel safe and comfortable working here and id recommend this studio to anyone.

The studio is big and nice changing room!

This was my first visit to f/8 and what a treat! I was modelling on 2 sold out studio days and they were all well organised and a lot of fun. The atmosphere was very chilled and the first thing I noticed when walking in the studio was how warm it was :) big plus points from me!

The changing room was comfortable and Paul was very kind and has a great sense of humour. Everyone walked away from the studio days with images they were happy with and I can't wait for our next event in August!

Would highly recommend Paul and this studio :)

Another wonderful day at f8! I love working at this beautiful studio - the natural light, the props, the equipment... and Paul makes the day fly by with his warm welcome and delightful humour! I can't recommend this place enough and look forward to heading back soon.

This was my first visit to F/8 studio and it was a very very good one! Paul the studio owner booked me for a day and then we sold the other day as a studio day and some tuition! Sorting the bookings were done with ease and communication was great!

The studio itself is lovely! The best bit is that it’s warm, clean and there is so much space and props!

When the other photographers were shooting Paul was on hand to help but also when not needed he kept himself to himself. A really lovely studio with a lovely studio owner too! Wholeheartedly recommended and hope I can return soon!

This was my first visit to the studio weekend which was a complete sell out!

The studio has everything you need equipped with various lighting, props, sets and even a moon globe which was my first time working with one and hopefully not the last. Paul was a great host full of banter along with being a genuinely down to earth lovely gentleman.

I had a great time, lots of laughs and creative freedom!

1000% would recommend and hope to return again soon.

Had an amazing tango themed group shoot event with Retro Rob at F8 - didn’t want the day to end!

Paul arranged a really lovely group of photographers and was fully on hand all day to look after us all and to set up some AMAZING lighting set-ups

Paul is so friendly and accommodating and he’s really transformed this studio which is kitted out with a range of awesome backdrops, lighting kit and props.

Another great day’s shooting at the one and only F8

Discussions were way back so to finally have a date and Paul on board to take care of the lighting and magic

So time to get the Retro Rob and Melany Tour under way.

This was dance themed shoot creating the passion and grace of Tango and Cuban dance and I have to say Paul and his knowledge of lighting and guidance set the scene perfectly!

Not only were the photographers delighted with what they captured but both myself and Melany were too.

If you haven’t yet worked that this brilliant studio you certainly are missing out.

A warm welcome at F8 Studio from Paul despite travel difficulties - a cup of tea produced in minutes

helped me to relax. Very helpful, set up was quickly achieved, do's and dont's skilfully done and lots of help with the mountain of interesting props that threatened to overtake my prepared running order. I think Paul would be classed as an industry expert - he knows or knows about everybody. Always useful in my book. Will be working there again for sure.

Paul has transformed this studio into an awesome space. The Broncolor lighting is awesome, set up and ready to go. The only thing you need is a camera and imagination.

My first shoot at F/8 was recently and I can't believe I haven't been before, considering how close I am to it! When I arrived I was given a brief tour by the photographer and was introduced to Paul, the studio owner.

Paul was polite and professional, supplying me with cups of tea throughout the shoot, and, unless called by the photographer, he stayed in his office, giving us privacy.

The studio itself is well equipped and has all manner of things from lighting equipment down to mattresses!

It was a pleasure to shoot here and I look forward to returning :)

I was lucky enough to work at F/8 last weekend as part of a camera club tuition event.

Brilliant facilities: kitchen for a good cuppa, warm loos, great well lit changing area and space to hang your stuff. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

Paul was a fabulous host, a real treasure trove of equipment, props and backdrops as well as more lights than you can use in one session.

Had a great shoot at F/8 Studio, due to family commitments I haven't been able to go to a studio for a while, Paul was very helpful with the lighting and all three

of us swapped ideas which made foe a fun a creative shoot would recommend F/8 Studio to both models and photographers, Studio days and Workshops.

Well I've now had the pleasure of working at this diverse space on many occasions now and every time has been absolutely fantastic!

Firstly Paul the studio owner is a absolute fabulous host!, Nothing is too much trouble for him :-)

For Models, You have access to amazing facilities, your own private room/changing room dressing gown, styling and all the little things that make working at a studio even more comfortable to work in :-)

The space itself is superb! You could be there for a full weekend and still not shoot everywhere! Beautiful finishes/decor/sets and features make for special imagery.

I felt warm, safe, looked after and creative.. As a model I can't ask for anything more. :-)

Very highly recommended to all models and photographers
