A fabulous shoot with great results, this was my first shoot 1 to 1 with a model and despite my lack of expertise Paul and Aimee did a wonderful job, i came away with super selection of images despite no preplanning or theme.

I had a super successful studio day at F8. Its becoming my second home.. And I ain't complaining! 😁.

Paul is always about to help with lighting and answer any questions, and is happy to give privacy but is always just a shout away! Always cracking jokes and being friendly to anyone who enters his studio.

The studio always has clean toilets, hot drinks and water on tap and is always a comfortable temperature with a changing area for privacy.

I'll no doubt be back and I look forward to it!

good lighting and has lots of props , i would recommend this studio to any one.

It was my first visit to this studio for quite some time and it was great to see that so much has changed for the better. The level of equipment is second to none and it gives so many options that you could shoot fo a whole day and still have options for another day.

This was my first shoot post-lockdown and a lot of effort has been put in to ensuring social distance can be maintained and steps are being regularly taken to keep the studio in a safe and secure state.

I had a shoot at f8 with this afternoon. What a lovely experience, Paul offered me a coffee as soon as I came in and then let me loose on the awesome Broncolor lighting kit ! Paul was always at hand to help with lighting stuff and general guidance and I really enjoyed my shoot - great relaxed atmosphere and oh my that Broncolor Para !!!

Thanks Paul for a great afternoon and to the lovely Simone for modelling with such energy.

Will definitely be back !

I had my first shoot back after lockdown today with Gloucester based model Simoneh with whom I have worked with on many previous occasions. It was the first time that I have met Paul and I was given a very friendly welcome. Paul has certainly made good use of the lockdown period having constructed some very impressive shelving to house a wide range of equipment. The whole feel of the studio is that of a clean well organised space; so important in these challenging times. The studio has also invested in some high spec Broncolour lights. Although we only used the strip lights during our shoot; I was very impressed by the results delivered. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of my first shoot at F/8 studio today. This is definitely the most highly equipped studio that I have worked in. Immaculately clean and sterilised to meet covid19 safety requirements. The studio has all the top of the range Broncolor lighting that made such a difference to what could be achieved and finished results. A great space to work in.... Paul is very welcoming and passionate about what he does, the vast array of high tech equipment reflects this. Highly recommend this studio and Paul as photographer too... years of high level experience, reflected in his work. So much knowledge to share to take photography to a higher professional level.

My learned a lot in my first studio shoot the owner Paul is very help I gave him a broad outline of the lighting and look I was after him did everything to to get the best lighting. I had a great first shoot and was able to relaxed and get over my initial nerves quickly.

Lovely studio, easy to find great equipment and props ect, private area for the model, tea made to order.... Can't fault it and can't wait to go there again x

Another fun shoot at the excellent f/8 studio, this time a group shoot organised by the amazing Alley. The amount of prep done was incredible, with sets, costumes and the lovely Carla Monaco. We were also treated to a spread of food which was amazing. If you haven’t been to f/8 and need a studio I couldn’t recommend them more.

This was my first visit to F8 Studio and it was certainly well worth the lengthy journey, I couldn't have been made more welcome by Alley who was a fantastic host for a garden themed shoot with Carla Monaco (who was also outstanding as always).

Alley worked incredibly hard to make certain that we had a wonderful and relaxed shoot, she had put a great deal of work into the preparation of multiple sets and amazing floral props. If there were any adjustments or ideas that we had she was more than happy to advise and assist.

It has to be said that Alley is also excellent at catering and the buffet she provided was brilliant - as mentioned quite correctly in another reference 'a banquet'.and thoroughly enjoyed by us all.

The studio is very well equipped indeed with a wide range of lighting units, soft boxes, grids, reflectors and props etc.

I highly recommend F8 Studio and hope to revisit soon.

Thank you Alley for a great fun day in a supportive relaxed and welcoming environment.

This happened to be my first visit to the F/8 Studio, also a first in meeting the lovely Carla Monaco.

The studio event by Alley, had been planned for the 15th March, luckily just a week before the Covid19 lock down.

Alley had worked extremely hard in making all the headdresses, floral props, etc, for the garden themed sets, Alley was also on hand & happy to advise & assist with the lighting & camera settings if required.

A lovely group of photographers, chatting, sharing camera setups & even shooting ideas, creating a relaxing time.

Alley also supplied a wonderful buffet, wide variety of food, for all tastes ... perfect, also along with Carla Monaco created a relaxing & pleasant photo shoot afternoon.

I hope to be able to visit the studio again in the future.

The studio is well equipped with studio lighting & props, so I highly recommend the F/8 Studio.

I have shot at this venue for a number of years under different names. Today was my first time back at this wonderful studio under the new name F/8 -

Met Paul the new owner and he is great, friendly, very knowledgeable and nothing is to much trouble. There's a lot more props to use than before and the natural light is still incredible. They have removed the paint of the windows which lets in so much more light. It's one of the best studios around and i highly recommend a visit.

First time at f/8 and working with Alley & Paul and had a great time... It was a super group shoot with a stunning model - Alley is really helpful and organised and she has loads of ideas but lets you get on and create your own art... And of course, you can't fail to mention Alley's hospitality, she is so welcoming, tea & coffee is free flowing and lunch is a positive banquet!

The studio is very well equipped with both photography equipment, furniture to shoot with as well as props & outfits. The workshop/groupshoot format works really well, not oversubscribed, with everyone getting a fair timed slot with each set so nobody hogs the floor. Also, everyone discussed and shared their results (which I find very often isn't the case at events like this) It was helpful and enjoyable to see what other people were getting from the same set.

Had a shoot today with f/8 for the first time since being under new ownership, could not have been more impressed with the whole experience!

A great selection of lights and modifiers, fantastic selection of props and seating, beautiful and varied backdrops, and a lovely large space to work in.

I also cannot understate Alley's hospitality; very warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped in, and always on hand to help with lighting and setup if needed.

Overall a fantastic place to shoot, will definitely be back soon!

Haven't visited this lovely little studio for a quite well, and it was great to do so again. Especially is it now comes with the legendary Alley-hospitality! All the tea I could drink, and help with the equipment whenever I needed it - great stuff. Definitely recommended!
