References for f/8 Studio

This was my umpteenth shoot at studio f8, but this time it was an organised event for fashion artnude which 4 photographers attended.

Paul is great with his pre communications and organisation, and is also kind enough to pick me up at the train station and give me a lift to the studio. Hes super accommodating and is happy to makes teas and coffees whenever theyre needed, the dressing room is always clean and tidy and the studio is always spotless.

He has great lighting (broncolor), many coloured backdrops, a vast array of accessories and props to use and his brain always comes in handy when a photographer needs help with lighting/setting up the camera.

He is very friendly and keeps the place in high spirits with his jokes and ideas. Ive never felt uncomfortable whilst working at his studio - and Paul is always just a shout away if anything goes wrong/we need help with something.

Toilets are always spotless and he provides a gown for the models in between sets if theyre shooting art nude.

Paul and his studio are very professional - and the images created in there are proof of that.

My favourite local studio which has everything inside you could ever ask for… including stuff you wouldn’t even think to ask for! Loads of variety of backdrops, lights, shoes, props, furniture, literally everything! Even a chopping board haha!

The owner Paul is great too. Such a gentleman, very knowledgeable and knows how to have a laugh x

Wow! Had the most fantastic Steampunk workshop with Tinks and Paul. It was so enjoyable meeting new creatives, we all got on really well , lots of laughs and jokes! The Studio is stunning! Lots of equipment and props, fantastic assistance from Paul on the technical side! Stunning setting for Steampunk theme!Paul is also a grew coffee maker! Parking is easy outside the studio, I would 110% recommend Paul and f/8 Studio

Another great days photography at F/8 Studio.

As usual Paul was a very welcoming and helpful host, who always works hard to make sure you have a good shoot.

The studio is very well equipped in terms of lighting, with an abundance of props to add to your shoot.

It goes without saying that I would recommend f/8 studio to all photographers.

Paul booked me for a full day recently as part of my tour to Gloucester. We shot 5 hours together first. Shooting a mixture of fashion and topless. We then held a small group shoot in the evening concentrating on Ar nude images. I enjoyed both shoots, Paul is really laid back and easy to get along with. It was so hot that day so we just took it easy. The images i saw on the BOC looked amazing! I cant wait to see the edited ones. I would recommend paul and the studio. Thanks a lot for a great shoot, i hope we get to shoot together again next time.

I was lucky enough to be able to attand the Studio's Bobbi Castle art nude evening, so this happened to be my first meet with studio owner Paul and also with Bobbie Castle & her wonderful friendly bubbly personality.

The evening was well set out, with all the different lighting & posing sessions, allowing the photographers to take their photo shots, while taking note of the lighting situations & also adjusting the camera settings.

The evening was very informative & helpful.

If the studio has another of these model evening photo sessions, I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed, I may see you there.

Hope to visit the studio again soon.

I’ve had two recent shoots at F/8, both with Simone.

Paul runs a great studio, nothing is too much effort and he has all the knowledge you would want regarding the lighting.

I would highly recommend Paul. He is very easy going and great to work with. No doubt I will work with him again.

I had the absolute please of attending the Creative Portrait session at F8 studio on the 05/06/21. From the very start I received a very warm welcome from both Paul the owner and Krystal the model for the day. The studio is extremely well equipped with Broncolor lights and modifiers along with an Aladdin's cave of props.

Paul was an excellent and knowledgeable host advising on lighting setups and ideas for creativity. Tea and coffee was served throughout the day along with a buffet lunch provided. The Worksop itself was an excellent, Paul is a very creative person and came up with lots of interesting ideas for us to try, this was helped by having such an excellent model for the day in the form of Krystal who could not have been more friendly and accommodating.

I will certainly be attending further days at F8 and Highly recommend the studio.

I chose F8 for my first ever studio worksop {creative portrait} with Paul and Krystal.

The studio was well equipped with excellent Broncolor lighting equipment.

Paul was very knowledgeable and full of creative ideas.

Krystal was a fantastic model consistantly doing a rapid range of poses from her range and would do what ever posed was requested.

A were wortwile and enjoyable day.

Paul has not seen the last of me

Really pleased I chose F/8 as the studio for last night's shoot. Paul was extremely helpful and accommodating, and I'd have no hesitation in recommending the studio to others. Bonus : you can park right outside in a secure car park, plus the studio has more lights, modifiers and props than you can possibly imagine!

I had shoots at F/8 studio for Dancer workshop with the lovely Erica-Jayne - she is an amazing dancer that jump quite high. Amazing studio - got everything and with great equipment. Paul is a very experienced who is willing to help he's friendly and has a great sense of humour highly recommended studio for your creative needs looking forward shooting at the studio again soon.

Amazing!

I was lucky enough to work at F/8 studio recently on my Gloucestershire tour.

Paul was ever so accommodating, made sure myself and the photographer were looked after throughout the shoot.

The studio itself is any model / photographers dream when it comes to studio space. Millions of props, private dressing room, lights & back drops galore. It’s amazing for natural light photography as well.

I really enjoyed my time here at F/8 and I hope to return again in the near future.

Paul is a great photographer himself after seeing some results of test shots he’d taken on the day.

I had an absolutely wonderful shoot with Jon_77 accompanied by Paul, at F/8 Studio in Gloucester. The shoot was full of laughs as per the other two times I have shot at F8 Studio with Paul Davies.

It was a full day of shooting for an event hosted by Paul, but unfortunately only one photographer turned up (Jon) who was amazing. But Jon & Paul made me feel so comfortable & welcome and we all had lots of giggles.

Paul has very kindly offered to help me with my modelling group and to allow us to use the studio to ensure the safety of new models. I always appreciate the advice and kindness that Paul offers me. Thank you so much, I look forward to working with you again in the future.

It was good to be back on the familiar territory of f/8 studio. Had a wonderful shoot there which went very well with the welcome help of Paul in moving props and lights around, and making a great cuppa.

Definitely be working there quite often in the next few months and is a studio I recommend extremely highly.

Brought multiple bookings to F8 Studio this week whilst I was in the area and have started to get to know Paul a bit more and I'm so pleased I have, great guy, always has a smile on his face and is a great host no matter what else is going on or wrong (building works and all sorts). All the photographers I've worked with have really valued his lovely manner and expertise lighting and studio wise. Looking forward to working with him again, coming back to F8 and becoming better friends- see ya soon!

My first shoot at this studio, and my first back in a studio for a long time. Although I was a bit nervous, I was really put at ease by Paul's friendly nature and was soon enjoying playing with the amazing kit he has there.
