Last week, I had a remote outdoor session with Angel Black, with John assisting. He did a great job, helping keep the remote working in the remote location, and helped keep the overall flow of the shoot going, letting Angel concentrate on the modeling aspects.

His assistance was invaluable in letting me get the shots I was looking for.

Due to covid and other personal issues I needed a refresher, therefore booked a 4 hour session with John and his partner model, Angel Black.

John was available throughout the shoot and his guidance and knowledge are second to none. He is very patience, his style laid back and he created a very relaxing atmosphere. I learnt more from him than anyone else I have worked with.

Overall a brilliant session and I am looking forward to working with John again as, fingers crossed ,I improve!

Definitely recommend him.

The Apex Studio (Telford)

John was invited along with Angel Black to shoot some sets at Apex Studio.

It was great to finally meet John in person & we got along extremely well. John even assisted me during my own shoot with Angel, which was a great help

John made good use of our new boudoir set at Apex & the results looked fab. John is an experienced photographer & made good use of the light, mirrors & reflectors to produce some awesome results.

John is very friendly, easy to work with & we can't wait to host them again at the studio.

Well well well, I'd been following Jon's work for some time and we'd been in communication to arrange a shoot which he then invited me along to join in on a shoot with Ashley Ashton and Angel. I were delighted. We did some solo shots and then he captured some of the 3 of us. Definitely weren't disappointed.

Jon is very relaxed, easy to get on with and fab at capturing the perfect levels of light and your best angles. Super speedy turn around on sharing images and after he'd also edited them to a good professional manner (but also NOT over edited)! Massively recommended and I'm sure we'll work together again in the not so distant future! Thankyou Jon!

2W Location

Another enjoyable day hosting John at Two Wei. The stars aligned, or rather the sun decided to come out, enabling John's plans to use our rain machine to come to fruition - with PIE making results!

John's got a great eye for a photo and delivers wonderful results and we have no reservation in recommending him to models wishing to expand and improve their portfolio.

WOW!! I have obviously worked with John endless times now, however, yesterday we took part in a duo shoot at Ashley's home and it was fantastic! John has an amazing eye to detail, he's truly an amazing photographer and clearly knows what he's doing with his camera. He's great at communicating his ideas and does so effectively and quickly, keeping messages down to a minimum.

During the shoot, he shot a duo with Ashley and myself, and shot Crystal UK in between, before shooting a short trio as well - he was capable of swapping between each of the sets so quickly and easily.

It was yet another joy to work with him, thankyou for the truly amazing images and I look forward to the edits - the back of camera shots were absolutely fantastic!!

INFINITY Model

Had a wonderful, creative and fun shoot with John. Right from the get go I felt welcomed by John and his partner Angel, which made for an enjoyable shoot. They're both great creatives and lovely people to get along with.

John is a gentleman, a great photographer, and an absolute joy to work with, we clicked right from the start which translated into the quality of the photos that we captured on the day! Considering it was our first time meeting and working together, we captured some of my best Boudoir images to date.

I highly recommend John to any model or studio, we got some fantastic shots and had a laugh whilst shooting, as well as capturing some great BTS videos!

I very much look forward to working with John and Team Black Events again. Thank you both!

Had a fanastic tutoring session with John and Angel after a long extended break from shooting after the pandemic.

John is a brilliant teacher, full of patience and an enjoyable person to chat, going through all the details I was hoping to get out of the session and more as well. Learnt a lot more about getting the best possible images out of my camera and things I didn't realise my camera could do as well.

Great experience and hopefully have another session with John later this year I'm sure once I've put everything into practice and find new ways to pick his brain :D

Great shoot with Angel & John from Team Black!

I recently booked a natural light tutorial session with Team Black Events. The 4 hours flew by way too quickly with two hours shooting various creative setups in the Team Black Home Studio and two hours shooting on location.

John was on-hand throughout the shoot to provide excellent guidance and help on how to get the best out of the different setups we were shooting. John is a skilled photographer and was able to adapt the sharing of knowledge to suit my experience level and requirements.

For half of the shoot we ventured to the coast and shot various sets on Klive Beach in North Somerset. The weather on the day was blazing sun which I would normally avoid but John was able to guide me very effectively on how to work with those conditions resulting in some great shots.

Had a briliant tuition session last week on natural light photography with John and Angel (team black) at their home and on location. The amount of valuable information and great pointers I got from John in order to improve my photography was absolutely vast! John is a true wizard when it comes to getting the very best images - the location, pose, camera position, light direction, camera settings and anything else that may enhance or detract from a great image. Also, John is a very nice chap who takes the time to explain matters thoroughly and ensures that I had understood and taken on board what he was saying. A superb teacher and one that I wished could be made into an app that i could have on my phone! This was a great experience and I will definitely be taking up further sessions with the team later in the year. Highly recommended.

I had a great on line shoot with John & the wonderful Angel Black yesterday. Both were more than helpful & we had a fun morning shooting with their expert assistance. I got some wonderful images & my thanks to John & Angel for a memorable shoot.

I would love to work with them again.

Ive had the pleasure of shooting with Black on a couple of occasions now, and i look forward to more shoots in the future.

Black is a diamond person to shoot with , extremely laid back and values the models input. He brings motivation and energy to the shoot and will drop high and low to obtain angles. Putting equal amount of effort in as the model .

Black is also a very talented editor , and id recommend his tuition services to new photographers . He is very kind and polite and will hold your best interests at heart.

Black has become a valuable friend and i am honoured to have worked with him .

Had a fantastic shoot with Jblack from his home in taunton. I found him to be very down to earth and easy to work with , had some lovely ideas and props for shoots and made some really good suggestions regarding poses .

JBlack makes good use of lighting and angles and regularly mirrors the model to keep the shots versatile. We created a nice selection of images and I'm happy with what iv seen soo far .

I'm looking forward to exploring the remote world with JBlack and his partner angel ,who are clearly more skilled in the area !

Would happily recommend and will look forward to collaborating again in the future.

Managed to squeeze in a second shoot with JBlack & my pink hair on his Windsor tour, before I go away for my new job!

John is SO lovely, friendly, and so easy to get along with and talk to. I struggled with parking so he came with me in my car to help me find a place which was so nice!

We only planned for shooting for a couple hours, ended up shooting for longer & before we knew it the time had flown by, and I genuinely think we could have kept going if I hadn’t needed to rush off! He’s so easy to bounce ideas off of, was happy to give suggestions / directions for poses, as well as letting me pose freely.

The pictures that I’ve seen so for look amaaazing, and I can’t wait to see the rest :)

If you haven’t yet shot with John I would HIGHLY recommend! Such a lovely person, as well as incredibly talented with an amazing eye for photography! Hopefully will get to shoot with you again once I’m back in the U.K. :)

Had a fab first shoot with John on Tuesday.. We've been meaning to shoot together for a while and so glad we got our diary's to finally match up..

Precomms were brilliant. Met him at his well equipped home studio in taunton and I instantly felt at ease within minutes of meeting him. John knew exactly what he was doing and what he wanted to create. I've already recieved an edit back from him which I love and I'm looking forward to seeing some more.

Hopefully won't have to wait too long to shoot again.

Highly recommended.

Had my first remote shoot with John today and he was superb! Was more than happy to help out when required, but also happy to let me get on with what I wanted to do. John demonstrated great knowledge of reflectors which I didn't have much experience with, and was very helpful in pointing out when the lighting had changed which wasn't as easy to see on the live view mode but saved a lot of time through his great communication. John made the whole experience of a remote shoot a lot smoother, more pleasant and very relaxing - extremely helpful thank you John! Great chat as well in transition times!

What an absolutely amazing experience!

John was a joy to work with! Communication was great, weeks prior to the shoot, then leading upto the shoot to answer all my questions. Gave me ideas of outfits to bring and was willing to give opinions on my own outfits.

His fiance Angel works alongside him onsite which helps with new models to feel even more at ease (thanks Angel for helping with my wardrobe malfunction x)

I felt at total ease with John, he was very laid back and gave me lots of suggestions for poses. He is more than committed to get the right shot, putting himself in bizarre positions to get it right :D

He allowed me to go with my own flow until I felt more comfortable moving into lingerie shots. No pressure whatsoever.

After warming up I flowed really easily with him and cannot wait to work with him again and explore even more ideas!

The raw edits he's sent me so far look STUNNING and I'm SO looking forward to seeing the finished results.

I worked with John on a remote Photoshoot with Angel Black UK. He was a really great help with setting up the lighting in the home studio and this allowed more time to use and adjust settings on the camera software during the Photoshoot. It also allowed more time to work with the model, Angel on poses and selecting outfits with the studio and lighting. He made the Photoshoot go smoothly. Thanks,

I truly love shooting with J Black - besides the fact he's my fiance, he's just a truly amazing creative. His visions are never ending and he will work tirelessly to produce the very best images he can - which he always succeeds in. The back of the camera shots I see are always unparalleled and unreplicateable. J Black has no problem adjusting settings on his camera and does so with ease, that coupled with his eye for good light and his sense of styling, you're guaranteed stunning images.

His pre shoot communications (besides being verbally to me!) are fantastic. He expresses his visions in such a clear and concise way you can already see the image jumping before your eyes!

J Black is a truly amazing individual with a keen lobe of photography and doesn't have any problems laying stomach down on sand dunes, or kneeling in the ocean to get that perfect shot, like he did on a recent Fuerteventura trip. He's also incredibly kind and courteous of the models he's working with, always checking we're okay, and cooking for myself & Amber Farndon in Fuerteventura during our recent trip where we shot remotely with photographers and needed quick food.

He's an all round good guy and his photography is simply outstanding. His portfolio really does speak for itself.

Wow!

Just not long got back from a lovely tour with J Black and had an incredible time shooting out in Feurteventura alongside Angel Black, they were both such a joy to be around and work with, we shot some E shoots and some beautiful; shots at the clear blue crystal beaches shooting to art nude as I wanted to try out something new. They made me feel at ease and comfortable and the images I've seen so far are stunning. They know exactly how to get the perfect shot and care about all of the smaller details that make an image outstanding and I really enjoyed how well we click and how we never run out of ideas to shoot, I'm really looking forwards to planning more shoots with J Black and would recommend them 100%
