What a wonderful gent! Rob is every inch as dapper and charming in real life as he appears in his images, and it was a genuine pleasure to model with him yesterday. Male models are rare, and good ones even rarer, but Rob has a great understanding of light, effortless posing and the sharpest attention to detail I've ever seen! We were modelling together very briefly but he brought several cases of clothes, accessories and even props 'just in case'. I found him to be considerate, professional and genuine - throw in his great sense of humour and you're guaranteed an amazing experience. Very highly recommended and I hope to work with him again soon.

I have had many shoots with Retro Rob - all of them very different and every one of them an incredible and unforgettable experience.

Rob’s style and posing in my view are second to none - all done to perfection. He puts so much thought and planning into every shoot and gives 100% for every shoot and every image - you could not ask for more from anyone and I have learnt so much from him over time.

This shoot was at another level (again) and the images are truly amazing - being Retro/Hollywood style. As always Rob gave his all and the images are brilliantly posed.

Rob is the most amazing person - fun and very easy to get along with, and at the same time 100% professional.

My second shoot with Rob again as duo shoot on 60's and 70's with Melany. I have to say Rob is amazing his attention to detail. He did a Jimmy Hendrix look and I could have been Jimmy Hendrix in the room. Rob works so well with Melany.

Still buzzing from a 1960s and 70s themed group shoot event that I hosted with Rob at Rawpics Studio.

As always, Rob put an enormous amount of effort into the event to ensure that it was a massive success. His styling is second to none, and he helped me to style up my own outfits and to match them up so that our duo act looked the part on the day.

Rob gets on very well with everyone and makes everyone feel really welcome. He is genuinely so interested in other peoples photographic journey and works super hard to ensure that they are getting the pics they want.

I'm in awe of his modelling talents and have said many times before that there is no one else who has his acting abilities and who is able to convey such authentic emotion and expression - effortlessly transitioning from one pose to the next.

There are no limits to Rob's modelling abilities and he is always coming up with amazing new looks - this shoot was no exception as we saw the launch of his new Jimi Hendrix look, which stole the show it was safe to say!

I can't wait to work with Rob again soon - it is the highly of my monthly shoot calendar as we have such fun. Many thanks Rob and until next time!... xx

Yet another amazing studio day with Retro Rob

We ran a Quadrophenia and Summer Love themed day and the pre shoot comms between Rob, myself and Melany were absolutely on point.

We all work so well together and our ideas just bounce around and bring together a totally amazing studio day.

All the photographers that attended the studio day, were just amazed by the amount of props and costumes that Rob brought with him.

Rob has such an infectious character, he just makes the studio days and absolute dream to be a part of .

Every time Rob works at the studio, it is a TOTAL Sucsess and the photographers never want to leave.

He has a talent that no one can match.

Had the most amazing 1960s and 1970s themed duo shoot with Retro Rob and Melany at Rawpics Studio yesterday.

And wow, it was definitely a shoot NOT to be missed. The photographic harmony between them is second to none - in fact they work together as one.

I have shot with both many times - as a duo and solo. Every shoot is special, every pose is special giving such wonderful images of every style - on top of all this, every shoot is 100% professionally carried out and fun all the way.

Rob was brilliant throughout this shoot and every shoot we have had together. He never runs out of ideas and is a dream to work with. He is such a nice easy going person with such attention to detail that any shoot will deliver a wonderful photographic experience and amazing images.

I absolutely love working with Rob - he is perfection in front of the camera.

Rob is just a brilliant model. This was my second photo shoot with him at Rawpics studio and as before it was a whole day of improvisation which helped create a wide range of unusual images. Rob interacts well with all photographers and comes prepared to work with them. His wide variety of props helped recreate the period we were shooting and as a Jimi Hendrix lookalike there's probably work out there for him as long as he can learn to play that guitar in the same way! Thanks Rob for another great shoot and hope to see you again.

WOW I recently had my 2nd shoot with Retro Rob I dont tend to shoot a lot of guys but I do love shooting with Rob. He is fantastic at what he does and I could never get bored of shooting with him and certainly hope to shoot with him again very soon. He is certainly 100% recommended by me so if you haven't shot with him yet book him soon you certainly wont be dissapointed

Had the fabulous Retro Rob at the studio for a hosted studio day. Rob is just the nicest, chatty, absolute gentleman you ever wish to meet and that's before you get on to his skill and utter professionalism as a model. Rob arrived with time to spare and came adorned like a pack horse with outfits and props of his trade. Not only has he got a traveling wardrobe that any theatre would be proud of, packed on his back and around his neck a saxophone and trumpet amongst other things.

Rob has a great sense of humour and the chat flowed from arrival to departure. He was incredibly welcoming and friendly as each photographer arrived, nothing was too much trouble and a consistent flow of fabulous and creative photos were achieved by all. I cannot recommend Rob to any one and we are already in discussion for the next studio day. Total Gent and a pleasure to work with.

We recently had Rob in the studio for two days and what a brilliant two days they were! Rob's attention to detail is second to none - the time and energy he dedicates to his craft is evident in his outfits, props and posing. Good male models are hard to find and superb ones even harder, but Rob is not only a superb model but a bloody lovely chap too! We look forward to seeing him again soon.

Yet another amazing, different and fantastic shoot with Retro Rob - this time at Fareham Studio with lighting by Sinopa Rin.

And what a shoot it was. We had a number of ideas before the shoot and each and every one was modelled superbly and with so much passion by Rob. The shoot itself was perfect - fun, professional and a great experience.

As for the results - the images we came away with were incredible in my view. So many different styles, sets and types - all perfectly posed by Rob

I will never grow tired of shooting with Rob - there’s always something special and different offered on every shoot.

I was so lucky to have been at the Retro Rob and Melany Group Shoot at Rawpics Studio yesterday. It was more than a shoot, it was an amazing experience, adventure and an absolute joy to be a part of.

In my experience there is no better duo to shoot - the pre-planning that they put into every set and style is so apparent and made the shoot run perfectly.

Rob and Melany are great company and fun to be with - whether together as a team, and as individuals. They are so professional with every aspect of the shoot and still it is great fun - their desire for great images is a passion for them both.

Rob was superb as part of the duo and also when solo - I took a number of very varied shots with Rob and every style and shot were posed to perfection.

I have shot a number of times with Rob, solo and duo and I am never disappointed- the images produced are in my opinion sensational with every style we shoot.

A beautiful shoot, a wonderful day and amazing images.

Had a great day shooting with Rob yesterday at Rawpics studio. What a performer! Rob is a fantastic model. He came fully prepared for the day with a variety of outfits and props and was very willing to adopt poses as directed. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he worked very well with Mel as a double act that was in total harmony. If you want some character photographs then Robe is certainly one to consider - he won't let you down. Thanks very much Rob.

Wow , what a really nice guy and truly proffesional model .

Rob came to the studio, where we ran a Great Gatsby & Bonnie & Clyde themed group studio day with Melany.

Rob took the time to call me a couple of weeks before the event, just to have a chat and to get to know each other. Which I think is highly important , within minutes of chatting, it was if we had known each other a life time and the laughter just flowed.

I was so pleased to meet Rob finally at the studio and we just got straight into the sets discussing lighting styles they would need for each set. Rob was always complementing me on my lighting techniques and the sets & props Including a 1930 MG we had in the studio that I managed to borrow for the weekend.

Once Rob gets into position for the shoot every one just stands in aw of him, this just makes for the best shoot any photographer could wish for . It almost felt that we were a part of a movie as the drama and style he brings , is out of this world.

The amount of pre shoot preparation that Rob gives is totally amazing and the amount of clothes and props ( Including replica guns) he brings with him, give the photographers so much choice.

It is without hesitation I can highly recommend Rob 100%

I had the pleasure of working with Rob at a group shoot day that we were co-hosting at the amazing Rawpics Studio.

The day was split into two parts with a Great Gatsby themed event in the morning, and Bonnie and Clyde in the afternoon.

As always Rob and I spent a lot of time prior to the event discussing the outfits, the scenes and taken inspiration from various sources.

Rob's attention to detail is second to none, he is so dedicated to providing a vintage photographic experience that is authentic and goes way beyond expectations.

Rob is brilliant at meeting and greeting people and making everyone feel relaxed and happy. He is so accommodating, always happy to work with photographers on their ideas and concepts. He has such energy and enthusiasm, and a seemingly never-ending energy supply!

I kept encouraging Rob to take his talents to a broader audience as there is no limit to them - his acting skills are incredible, and in addition to an unrivalled vintage wardrobe, he has a large collection of props and looks.

In short, Rob comes highly recommended and if you want guaranteed awesome pics and plenty of them, then don't hesitate to book him.
