It was my privilege to work with Rob on a vintage fashion shoot along with Melany. He has an amazing style and look that is perfect for the vintage fashion feel. Rob has brilliant poses and movements with great expressions that gives the picture that something extra. Rob works well with Melany enabling great couple shots that are emotive and imparts great story-telling. He was great fun to work with and full of interesting information about the vintage period which he is portraying. This was my first shoot with Rob but I hope it will not be my last and I look forward to working with Rob again in the future. I can highly recommend Rob to all and thanks for a brilliant shoot.

I had yet another amazing 4 hour shoot with Rob today at Inspire Studios, Salisbury.

Rob is a fantastic model with a terrific personality. I am lucky enough to have had many shoots with Rob and each one has been exceptional and different.

Rob has endless poses/postures, and style is always in abundance - whatever the lighting, clothing, style and genre Rob is always at his best and superb images come in abundance. He is an all round performer and totally professional.

He is full of ideas and his own postures, but is always open and comfortable to being directed and have different ideas put his way.

A shoot with a Rob is the perfect way to spend the day - you know the shoot will be awesome and fun before you start. If you haven’t shot with Rob then I believe you are missing out!

Apologies Rob, late reference, thought I'd posted this, I think it's an age thing. Visited f/8 Studio in Gloucester for the first time, a couple of weeks ago, to work with Rob on a duo shoot, with Melany. As is now the norm, Rob showed his immaculate styling of genuine vintage clothing. Working through various sets and ideas, we were able to capture more wonderful images. Only able to spend a couple of hours with them this time. But as usual, Robs flare and understanding of concepts and ideas showed through, yet again. If you haven't had the opportunity to work with him, make one. He doesn't bite! Relaxed and laid back, Rob is a gentleman, open to new ideas and able to execute them impeccably. Don't think about it, just get on with it. Book him, now!

I've just arrived back home after a weekend shooting with Rob and a very successful studio day at F/8 Studio. I am so thrilled that people continue to book us for our duo modelling days as I LOVE with this guy. It is by far the highlight of my month shooting with Rob as he is so much fun and creates the most amazing images.

Even though we have been working together for two years now, he always comes up with fresh looks and ideas. His dedicated to modelling and the care and attention he pays to pre-shoot planning and prep is really impressive. On the day he meets and greets the photographers and makes them feel really welcome and at home in the studio.

He is so easy to communicate with and works tirelessly to ensure that every photographer leaves feeling super happy with the images they've captured.

Rob is one in a million and in my opinion there is no other male model with his skills and capabilities - booking Rob means not only guaranteed quality and original images but also a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Retro Rob is such a wonder guy. Working with Melany they make the perfect pair. I was amazed at how many different looks we were able to achieve in the 2 hours we had. Rob has a fantastic wardrobe that looks wonderful in front of the Camera. Rob and Melany were brilliant at releasing and achieving the scenarios I suggested, along with their own ideas to , made for a wonderfully productive and enjoyable time.

Definitely recommended, if you get the chance to work with retro Rob you should jump at the chance.

Enjoyed a great couple hours with Rob & Melany but 2 hours just wasn't enough for this amazing duo and individually beautiful people. Sadly we couldn't get any triggers to work on my new Sony but thankfully the session was saved as Alley at f/8 had her Canon 5D III.. But apart from that no shortage of ideas, willingness and generally having a good time.

Rob is a gentleman, he's charismatic and charming and his wardrobe and props are well chosen and perfectly matched. Recommend stepping back in time with him!

I'm looking forward to repeat this for a longer shoot, with my own cameras soon.

I had the most amazing 4 hour shoot today with the Rob at Inspire Studios in Salisbury. My longest shoot to date and still the time flew by.

We went through a number of clothing styles, different lighting set ups and various studio locations and backdrops. Rob excelled in all and I came away with so many wonderful and varied images. Rob was superb throughout and gave his all to get these images, and for me to be happy with them - I absolutely was happy with all.

I have worked with Rob a number of times but this was our first shoot with just the 2 of us. In my opinion, there is no better than Retro Rob - so professional and fun to work with. Two further shoots are booked and I can’t wait.

I had an absolutely brilliant shoot with Rob.

Communication beforehand was very quick and clear. On the day Rob brought numerous clothes, hats, etc, and a wonderfully varied selection of props. He took direction well, but also contributed plenty of ideas of his own. Rob is a natural - professional, friendly, easy-going, patient, cheerful ... in short, a delight to work with. What added that extra "something" was his range of facial expressions and the way he posed his hands in order to fit the narrative of each shot.

Time disappeared really quickly, but I came away with many images that I am very pleased with. I would be very happy to work with Rob again and have no hesitation in giving him the highest recommendation.

WOW I have wanted to work with Retro Rob for ages and last weekend I finally got my chance to shoot with him at South House retreat on a duo shoot with Melany.

We only had 4 hours but the shoot was incedible we managed to get through quite a few sets and the pics where amazing.

I definatly hope to work with Rob on future projects he really is one top bloke and brilliant to work with

I had a fantastic studio with Rob at Far Forest where we covered such a wide range of styles, from tango, to fashion and vintage and even some modern dance style sequences!

Working with Rob is simply the best. He’s extremely talented and a very lovely guy who gets on well with everyone as you can see from his other references. His energy and enthusiasm is just the same for the last hour of the day as it is for the first. He’s so obliging and works hard to create images that the photographers are after.

I highly recommend Rob to studios, photographers and models. He’s a joy to work with and it’s impossible to take a bad pic of him! He’s unique and creative and you won’t find better!

I very much look forward to my third year of duo work with Rob! X

I worked with Rob for the first time on Sunday at far forest studio. Along with model Melany and another photographer Colin Close. Colin had a list full of ideas and Rob was very accommodating to as much as we could get done in the 3 hour shoot. They really do say time flies bye when you are having fun!!.

Rob is such a lovely person, a true gent with respect to the model he works with and the photographers. Rob made me laugh quite alot during the shoot, I look forward to working with Rob again and editing the photos from Sunday for him to add to his portfolio. See you again soon Rob...

Latest of several shoots with Rob and Melany and well worth the wait since last time. Very receptive to my ideas and also contributed with their suggestions for variations on poses. Rob is patient, polite, professional and... can't think of more "p's" but sure there are more! Our 3 hours flew by and have made mental note to go for 4 hours next time..and there will be a next time.

This guy is amazing, so positive. Nothing is too much trouble. Hosting a group shoot with Melany, this guy excelled once again, with his attention to detail. Between them they hosted a perfect day at South House Retreat. Loads of thought going into each set. Give Rob an idea and he runs with it. Because he listens, he gets the information he needs, to create the image in your head. (Not necessarily always a good thing in my case😂😂) anyway, I believe, if you guys don’t shoot with him soon, either vintage or with Melany, you will lose out big time. He is one of those rare opportunities to come along, don’t put it off, book him, and he will reward you with images that will never age, you’ll be proud to say, I worked with this guy, wow! I've just got back from a weekend of shooting vintage evening-wear with Rob at the stunning South House Mansion. I have lost count on how many shoots I have now done with Rob, I can't think of a better duo partner. He is so courteous, professional, fun and above all an utterly amazing model!!

Rob is fantastic at building a strong rapport with whoever he works with. He is such a genuine guy and puts event the most nervous photographer or model at ease with his good humour.

We had such a successful weekend, creating some stunning looks that complimented the beautiful house and grounds at South House. Rob has so many ideas for setting the scene with strong storytelling skills and his attention to detail is spot on. Plus it's impossible to take a bad shot of him!

Rob is such a hard worker and has boundless energy. He puts his all into every shoot. The photographers were overjoyed with the results from this weekend and all enjoyed the experience of meeting and working with Rob.

Lucky for me I am back working with him again next weekend as our tour continues up in Kidderminster!

I had my third with Rob yesterday and one word sums up Rob and shooting with Rob - AMAZING.

Rob is everything a photographer could ask for - he has great looks, charm and style : he gives 100% on every image ; is a wonderful character and this comes through in his images ; truly warm and friendly personality which makes shooting so much fun, pleasurable and rewarding ... I could go on.

With all the above, the results you get with Rob are more than superb, time and time again. He has a number of great and varied styles - all perfected by Rob.

I've waited a while to shoot with Retro Rob, and what better opportunity than along side Melany at their fabulous Vintage Eveningwear event at South House?

As well as finding out first hand just how amazingly he carries off that vintage style, I also found that he has the demeanour and easy-going manner to match :-). An absolute pleasure to shoot, he has every angle covered: clothing, props and movements are all perfectly combined to re-create the vintage era, and his posing with Melany is sensitive and totally convincing - story telling at its best!

During a perfectly planned day we had a few moments 1:1 to try to create particular shots that Rob had in mind. He carried off his part with great style and good humour of course, and as a newbie to photographing the male subject I was entirely at ease. I definitely look forward to working again together!

From start to finish the day was an absolute pleasure: two stylish, talented and imaginative models delighting a small group of photographers, with splendid hospitality before, after and at the mid-point of the shoot. Everything delivered with panache and good humour... this is a whole-hearted recommendation for both Rob and his events!
