This was my first shoot with the lovely Carla, whom I had made a note to self to work with for some time as I admire her modelling.

Arriving with plenty of outfits to choose from, with make up and hair immaculate Carla is every bit the experienced professional model you just know she is going to be.

A wonderful personality also makes shooting with Carla an easy and pleasant experience, as she breezes through poses so instictively.

I applaud her patience and can do attitude as my theatrical illusion shoots are technically so different from what models will often encounter. We accomplished everything I scheduled within the studio time and really happy with the results I have on the camera.

Absolutely reccomend Carla for any photographers project and so hope I have an opportunity to work with this fantastic lady again.

A quickie (1 hour) remote - single mood idea with the awesome Carla. Carla and Adrian were totally ready to start - styling, makeup, hair and set all ready then good to go. Fabulous set from this shoot. Working with true professionals pays huge dividends in shooting time and quality of images. I heartily recommend working with Carla. Oh and did I mention that she is great fun to work with too!

I had another brilliant shot with Carla yesterday. I had taken part in her Valentine themed remote shoot at short notice, which she had organised with the tried and tested help of her husband Adrian.

A very good idea, this theme offered plenty of material for emotional romantic pictures. As I know from her, Carla had prepared everything very well. Posing with transparent gauze curtains and cloths turned out to be particularly appealing. A semi-sheer red long dress was also very photogenic. Carla is absolutely versatile and poses very convincingly, but is also always ready to take my suggestions on board if she is convinced of a good result.

I can only say that working with Carla is fantastic!

I'm already looking forward to the next time and can hardly wait.

A truly epic Sixties Styled remote shoot with the totally awesome Carla. Always such a pleasure to work with Carla as she rocks her vintage styling creating the most show stopping images. Superbly assisted by Adrian we have a huge number of classic images from the session. Huge huge thanks to you both.

Carla is a dream to work with - so experienced and fun lady to shoot with.

Third shoot with the one and only Ms Monaco.

It would be difficult - nay, impossible - to say something that hasn't already been said in Ms Monaco's 1222 previous references. So I'll keep it brief... She's bl**dy brilliant! Awesome model, super-creative, wonderful wardrobe and a great eye for styling, totally reliable and 100% professional in every respect, and such a lovely person.

Hang on... I WILL expand on that... I've heard a few photographers say that they'd be scared of working with someone of Ms Monaco's calibre. Don't be scared!!! She's not an exotic, unapproachable creature from another planet. She's a Scouser, and as one would expect she's totally down-to-earth, has a great sense of humour, and is soooooooooo easy to get along with. Definitely no diva!

P.S: Thanks for another belter of a shoot, Ms Monaco. (But apologies if I've ruined the 'exotic creature from another planet' image. :) )

I had the pleasure of shooting Carla during a Bridget Bardot Inspired Studio day at Neon Dreams Studio.

Carla was an absolute pro ... effortlessly changing pose without being asked between each shot, yet was happy to take suggestions also. Great shots were captured which I am still in the process of narrowing down which to edit.

Carla's partner was one had to assist with lighting and set setup and again Adrian was personable and a pleasure to work with in the studio.

I shall be looking out for more studio/walkabouts with Carla in the future.

Carla does the sixties style brilliantly (as well as many others) so the Brigitte Bardot-inspired shoot at Neon Dreams Studio produced some excellent images. As always, Carla posed perfectly and looks just great in every shot. It was a very pleasant afternoon with three other photographers and Adrian, who gave valuable assistance and accommodated my quirky request to change the lighting for a few shots so I could use a vintage 1960s film camera.

Yesterday I had my first shoot of the year with Carla Monaco, the Classical Remote shoot day. As always with all shootings with her, everything was perfectly coordinated and prepared and we were able to get straight to work.

Carla and Adrian had prepared sets that were reminiscent of classical paintings. Carla posed very revealingly on the one hand and used pieces of tulle and veils very effectively on the other. She posed without instructions but always responded to my ideas and suggestions.

At the end of the shoot I can only say that it was once again a great experience to work with Carla. The results that I already have in my hands are very, very good.

Really highly recommended. I'm already looking forward to meeting Carla and Adrian again, probably in person in England.

Had a recent remote session with Carla at Inspire Studio, working on a project of mine and some ad hoc/free-form photography. She was prepared, professional, posed as beautifully/appropriately as possible, and helped create a wonderful set of images.

I've worked with her a half-dozen times so far, and have been impressed every time.

I had another shoot last weekend with the wonderful Carla Monaco. She has become my favourite model and I love working with her both remotely and in person.

This time also at the highly acclaimed Inspire Studios. I can only confirm this praise. The possibilities in the studio are really great. The White Cube alone offered a fantastic opportunity to take great photos.

Carla and Adrian, who was in charge of the technical side of the shoot, once again did a great job. Carla chose extraordinary and beautiful outfits and offers once again wonderful poses during the shoot. She is very high class and now, afterwards I can only say that the quality of the photos is absolutely marvellous.

It will keep me busy for some time to edit them in the best possible way, which I will be very happy to do.

My conclusion: Wonderful shoot and I am very sorry that Inspire Studios will now be closing.

I'm already looking forward to working with Carla and Adrian again.

Organised Chaos

Would I recommend Carla 😲truly I will sing her praises (you don't want me singing) now let me elaborate why I recommend this magnificent lady so much.

I contacted Carla back last year & even though I am relatively new as I only started last year February but what I will not forget is how helpful she was in the messages & encouraging to me.

Carla is far & beyond the most excellent model ever & the icing she is such a brilliant, gracious , kind person.

Super patient , led the entire shoot for me as I asked so that I could learn from her.

Carla is absolutely brilliant at make up & hair, carries an extensive wardrobe with her to all shoots.

I really am looking forward to our next shoots as they will also involve tuition from Adrian (Carla's Husband) who for those of you who may not know is an outstanding Photographer & along with Carla have formed their own creative Tuition business which I am super excited to book.

The session was split into three very different vibes and Carla seamlessly created a stunning mood 🙂

I couldn’t have wished for better images and the studio itself matched everything I’d hoped it would be working there !!

Where to start with Carla... This timeless, natural beauty is arguably one of 'thee best and most beautiful models" to grace the pages of Purpleport.

I lay the blame - for my love of shooting with models - firmly at the door of Carla!

I first shot with her in 2018 at Shawn's old studio - Scarlet Door, which is sadly no longer there. The shoot was organised by Adrian Crook and there were four photographers. This was my first shoot with a professional model.

I was completely and utterly smitten. This vision of loveliness appeared from her changing room. I was not only blown away by her natural beauty, but she is one of the nicest people you could ever care to meet. Coupled with the fact that she provided a veritable feast of a lunch. Clearly the best way to a mans heart!

Why on earth have I left it this long to shoot with her again is a mystery to me.

Meeting up with Carla again was a joy. We probably did as much chatting as we did shooting, which in all honesty, I love. She is so friendly and so easy to talk to. Annoyingly, I only booked two hours, another mistake on my part!

Needless to say, I have come away with a whole stack of beautiful images and I promise myself not to leave it too long, before we shoot again.

Carla comes with the highest of recommendations, just look at her, why would you not want to shoot with her?

An Eye for Beauty

Carla and I have just had our 28th shoot together, and it was fitting that it was one of the final occasions at Inspire Studio which will close in a couple of days. As always in spite of lots of chatting and catching up with the last 9 months, we packed a goodly number of shots of different genres into the three hours allocated. Carla is just so easy to get on with that the time passes and great images emerge with apparently little effort, certainly on my part. Carla had come with a wide range of outfits, fashion, swimwear and lingerie and we only used a small proportion and yet so many fine images. Undoubtedly we shall meet again in another place before 2024 is very old, and Carla remains among my top few favourites. Until next time, and thanks once again.

Arranged a shoot with Carla for the 6th of December, shooting stock for possible book cover use.

Carla was amazing on her pre-shoot comms. We had a bit of late start due to some train trouble, but she turned up looking amazing and we soon we’re back on track. She was very lovely to talk to and very professional. She looked great in both the modern and vintage outfits.

As usual, as this isn’t my day job it’ll take me an age to go through and process them but I’m sure there are some great images from that shoot.

I would definitely recommend Carla for your next project. Thanks again!
