Kris is hilarious. Its not often you leave the shoot with your cheeks hurting from laughing. He really made me laugh and I felt really comfortable around him. He was pretty quick with light set up and there was little faffing compared to other shoots I've done, he is so so talented and I loved looking at the back of the camera as I was so pleased with the photos. The finished edits are what really blow you away, he edits in a way which is so fresh, sleek and polished and yet still fierce. I would love to shoot again!

Did a workshop with Kris and his lovely wife Jamila today. Learned an awful lot and had lots of laughters throughout as Kris has a wicked sense of humour. Definitely worth booking if you want to get some great ideas about light settings and editing. Thanks for a great day :)

Took part in Kris' workshop and was amazed with what he could achieve with a simple light set up. His knowledge is inspirational and he doesn't shy away from teaching it. He's got a cracking sense of humour and his upbeat and outgoing personality make his workshops a must attend. Can't wait to work with him again as I believe I've only learnt the tip of the iceberg from him 😃

I have been dying to work with Kris for the best part of a year and I was absolutely delighted when he agreed to do a shoot.

He is a true talent, He knew exactly what he wanted from each set and it took no time at all the get the shot we wanted. He is really fun to work with and pretty laid back. Of course there was banter which made the shoot flow quite nicely.

Looking through the images he has sent me I am having a really hard time trying to pick just a couple to post on purple port as I am madly in love with all of them :P

I highly recommend Kris. If you have a chance to work with him you would be a true idiot to pass it up

I worked with Kris on a last minute shoot earlier this month and had a blast.

I will keep this short- Kris is GREAT. Fun, talented and laid back. The shoot was full of laughing, swearing (my bad) and we created some absolutely beautiful images.

I got to view and pick my favourite images from the shoot. I had them all, finished to a brilliant standard in my dropbox within 48 hours of the shoot. I couldn't have asked for more from a collaboration shoot! Perfect!

I had the opportunity to shoot again with Kris and his lovely wife Jamila last Sunday. We had a lot working against us (including a downpour of rain during the first set) but, as always, it was great. I already have a fab image per set with more to come thanks to Kris' swift editing. Kris has a fantastic creative eye and great communication with his model. I would always jump at the chance to work with Kris as I know that I will always be happy with the results :D Thank you x

I attended a natural light workshop organised by Kris, he showed us how he builds his images up from location finding, posing the model through to the final edits which I found very good. He has many tips and tricks that he shows within the workshop, Kris is not only a fantastic photographer and person but he has a amazing wife to assist him in producing amazing images.

If you are thinking of attending one of Kris's workshops then dont hesitate as you wont be disappointed.

I joined in on a group shoot with Kris at Scarlet door studio. He was great and really friendly. I'm so, so pleased with the photos. He was in pain that day but he was brilliant and had a makeup artist on the shoot too which really helped with the variety of looks during the day.

I'd highly recommend working with Kris! He's brilliant, and I hope to work with him again sometime :)

Attended another of Kris's natural/ambient light workshops and cannot recommend them highly enough. At each one I have attended there are great tips and tricks that allow you to personally expand on, from locations, lighting and camera settings. Extremely good foundations for all levels of photographers looking to shoot Kris's style, in sometimes challenging locations, great hospitality all within a humorous and relaxed environment with fabulous models...Fantastic tips and tricks on assisting (using reflectors etc) by Jamilla in addition to her tips and tricks on shooting...The post editing run through with lightroom, photoshop etc I found extremely helpful and the presets, actions and tutorial video (all included and supplied) serve as an invaluable resource for the future..All in all, great value for money and highly recommended.....Thanks you two and see you again soon...... :)

Worked with Kris on a second workshop today. The workshop was very well organised, highly informative and a brilliant day for all. I can highly recommend Kris for, not only his skill as a photographer but his easy going manner (and humour) along with his ease of showing/teaching us the necessary to capture beautiful images. Had a very last minute shoot with Kris this evening and already have a beautiful image as a result. Kris knows exactly what he wants to achieve and has fab communication giving superb direction. He really makes you feel at ease as a model and makes the shoot fun. He was assisted by Jamila and Pete Buckley-Thomson who were also great and a pleasure to work with. Would happily shoot with Kris again and definitely recommend him.

Shot with Kris a few weeks ago on location and in the studio. It was a great shoot, Kris really knows what he's doing in terms of vision and backgrounds and obviously feels right at home. We ventured into unknown territory with some studio stuff, which was fun too.

The pics were great and were delivered really quickly! This man is a fast editor and the images were very much on point. Overall would recommend anyone to shoot with Kris, there is much to learn from this man from a photographer perspective too.

FDQ Photography

I recently purchased a video tutorial from Kris detailing his post production process that included Lightroom and Photoshop actions. I was unable to travel to his workshop last month and kindly requested that he create a video showing the process. It didn't disappoint.

The video is well produced, informative and taught me a great deal in a short amount of time. It's very easy to follow and I highly recommend it for all amateurs wanting to improve the quality of your shots.

Add to that the communication with Kris was excellent. Top man!
