I attended my first workshop run by Kris and Jamila, and it certainly lived up to their very high reputation. The models were Poppy Haskel and jade Lyon.

Kris is certainly a huge character whose expertise is quite formidable. Jamila, the other half of the team, adds her own impressive dimension to this great experience.

This was one of the few workshops I've attended that I can really say was fabulous in all respects. They run the event to precision, offering a huge amount of value added tips, as the day progresses.

I will definitely be revisiting on another occasion, in order to continue to develop my studio skills as well as other nuggets they pass on during the shoot.

Another good workshop with Kris. Always a laugh! There was even some entertaining dancing going on around the studio from him (he just likes to put me off while I'm trying to pose haha)! Really good at organising the group of photographers on the workshop so everyone has time to shoot and learn.

I did my first workshop with Kris at the weekend. I really enjoyed the day, learnt a lot and found the day both informative and entertaining. I will be on the lookout for another one of his workshops later in the year.

Attended my first ever workshop through PP today with Kris assisted by his wife, Jamila, and model Jade Lyon.

All were very professional and friendly and most importantly we had a fun time.

Kris has a dry sense of humour and a very practical teaching style which with no waffle gets straight to the point of setting up and taking each shoot.

Kris ably demonstrated how to create his style of fashion/beauty shoot in various unpromising looking locations using reflectors, skrims and natural light. Despite seeming unpromising they turned into ideal backdrops for the images.

We all got plenty of opportunity to get shots and be involved in all aspects of assisting with each shoot.

Jade Lyon was a terrific model providing a range of poses for each photographer, being very patient.

Jamila provided great tips on working with a model and working with equipment as an assistant and provided us with some welcome snacks and drinks.

All told a very enjoyable and informative day. I learned a lot and laughed a lot.

I'll look out for more workshops with Kris.

I attended my first ever lighting workshop with Kris and Poppy Haskell at Scarlet Door.

Kris was a great teacher. The evening was well run and I found it extremely informative.

The night was very relaxed and Kris's constant banter keep everyone amused but focused on the various setups he went through.

I would definitely recommend joining Kris on one of his courses and hopefully I will be able to attend more in the future.

My first workshop with Kris and the lovely Poppy Haskell as model. Kris took us through a number of lighting set ups, some using gels and a ND filters. Each produced a different effect, all beautiful and worthy of copying - well they say it's the highest form of flattery!

Kris is a great teacher, funny, doesn't take himself too seriously and totally relaxed throughout but very knowledgeable indeed.

I would recommend Kris' workshops to anyone.

I've worked with Kris a couple of times lately. Once for a workshop and once for another shoot. It is really hard to work with Kris because.... I can't stop laughing! It's actually a challenge! Lots of fun though and Kris always comes out with cracking images every single time. The workshop was great as it was well organised. I had one key photographer at a time to focus on posing for which was nice as often it becomes a free for all on these things!

Attended my third workshop hosted by Kris and Jamila today - *exactly* the way to start a weeks holiday! I learn neat tricks every time, or how to properly do things I've faffed around badly with until now. The atmosphere is brilliant, and I laughed until I fainted (yes that is possible!). I thoroughly recommend Kris as a tutor and photographer. Still smiling now.

I modeled for one of Karl's workshops back in March and it was a really fun day! Karl is a great teacher and the day was really well organised, a lot of the attendees captured really beautiful photos and the models had lots of breaks.

Can recommend Karl to models and photographers.

I very much enjoyed my first workshop with Kris. Superb model selection and tuition. Not only did I feel that I had taken something away from the workshop but i feel that there is definitely good merit in taking more workshops like this.

Had my third shoot with Kris yesterday which went very well! He sent over some moodboards which helped me understand what he wanted to achieve from the day.

He's a really easy person to work with, professional and hilarious! Results back of camera looked awesome as well.

Kris hosted a Headshot Workshop that I attended. I came away with some great shots and learnt so much. We worked through more than 10 lighting setups and Kris talked us through each one we had the opportunity to shoot each with two fantastic models. One of the most useful workshops I've attended in a long time and would definitely recommend and will be looking out for other ones in the future.

I attended one of Kris' workshops on Saturday, it's really opened my eyes to a lot of new levels, new idea's. Love his no nonsense approach and the way the workshops are run, at first, I was nervous having not been photographing after a long absence but Kris teaches you more than just how to shoot, thoroughly enjoyable. Will be booking a lot more.

Attended a very successful "Home Workshop" with Kris yesterday evening. A very informative and passionate teacher/photographer who laid bare the techniques required for a small shooting space. The evening was a great success made significantly more enjoyable by having Poppy Haskell to model for us. I would strongly recommend both.

Had ANOTHER full day workshop with Kris, this time round working with two models :) Super talented photographer who is great at keeping the energy up and making everything so straightforward!

Both models (Poppy & Jessica) were amazing throughout and would definitely recommend them.

As for Kris, well, just saying what everyone else says... highly recommend!!
