Just finished the second of two post processing workshops with Kris today - one on wedding processing workflow and the second on portrait/fashion. These were two excellent sessions - Kris has a fantastic talent behind the lens and the ability to back it up with equal talent in the post-processing area just brings the whole thing together. Highly recommended from me!

I've worked with Kris twice now, once on a portfolio and the other at his portraiture workshop and I couldn't recommend him enough. For sure the most entertaining photographer I've ever come across! He's extremely talented and produces amazing images, I love the depth of field he uses!

Seeing how he worked on the workshop I would not only recommend models to work with him but also to photographers to get to his workshops. I've been a model on a few now with various photographers and his techniques were really good, I definitely learnt a lot too!

I've been privileged enough to work with Kris on many occasions now and be a part of his progress (it's amazing that anyone could improve on such a stunning portfolio, but he really does). I modelled for his portraiture workshop this past Sunday and he was as professional as ever with a fantastic sense of humour. Had another fantastic workshop with Kris and assisted by Jamila, this time being Portraits with the wonderful Carla Monaco!

Cannot express enough the talent they both have on creating fantastic photos. Always a laugh and everytime I learn something new! So many setups and not a single second wasted.

Kris Karl, what can I say... We have been trying to arrange a shoot together for a long long time & could never match up our dates, but finally unplanned and so last minute, kris messaged me to say he had a cancellation for the next day :( but I just so happened to be available! I travelled to littlehampton to his home where we met,

He's super friendly and just so genuine, speaks his mind (which I adore) and just gets it!

Not interested in competing with anyone just in photography to create amazing images, also is so relaxed! Doesn't over work the model, has a laugh, and gets to know you too..

I just found him so easy to talk to and trustworthy and it's the first time we've met!

I'm very excited to see the shots he took, and excited to model for him again :)

Incredible photographer & so pleased to have met and been photographed by him!

Thoroughly enjoyed Kris's portrait workshop at Scarlet Door. Kris has a special teaching style all of his own, at the same time funny, relaxed but razor sharp. I came away from the day with the confidence to go away, book a studio and try out some of his lighting schemes for myself. ... Many thanks for giving that to me Kris.

I attended one of Kris' workshops yesterday and it was by far the best one I've been on so far. We went though a huge variety of lighting set ups all of which produced amazing shots. I loved Kris' laid back attitude and style of teaching.He and his wife have a wicked sense of humour I don't think we stopped laughing all day. :)

Attended one of Kris's portrait workshops today held at Scarlet Door studio with the lovely Queentrem as the model for the session. Kris provided a great mix of lighting set ups and very useful instruction all delivered with much humour despite him not being that well. Highly recommended if you want to fast track your learning or get chance to practice some effective portrait lighting sets ups.

Kris is great, he's like a breath of fresh air. Honest, hard working and he just knows how to create beautiful pictures.

We worked today after I put up a last minute casting due to a cancellation, Kris is very down to earth, professional and just awesome at what he does.

We chatted for about an hour before even taking photos! And then shot outside in the sunshine and at his home studio, he's very talented and I can't recommend him enough to models who work equally as hard :)

I hope I get the opportunity again :) x

Had an outdoor shoot with Kris in London today.

It was really fun, he's an awesome person, and an amazing photographer, got some really beautiful photos.

He's easy to get along with, really funny, chatty, great at directing and I'd definitely recommend him without a doubt.

Looking forward to seeing the photos and hopefully we'll shoot again. :)

I would like to personally thank Kris for all his efforts and total patience in take my editing skills from zero to providing me with a clear set of instructions on how to accurately edit an image.

It all started last year attending a natural light work shop that Kris had kindly put on for us. After shooting we had 2 hours of editing which to my surprise I managed to keep up with. After the course he provided us with a tutorial on how to edit an image. I took this away with me and to my surprise managed to edit images to a reasonable standard. ...... but knew after a while there was something missing. I needed a new map to get me to my final destination.

I re-visited Kris again taking my images to him once again, he was so sympathetic with his cretic and gave me a new set of clear instructions to get across the line. I am so glad Kris did not give me the whole package to start with as I know I would not have coped at all.

So concluding I would highly recommend Kris to assist you with re-toutching as he is so patient and positive it will give you the confidence to get you where you want to be. Thank you one again for being there to inspire me to create images I have always wanted to.

I am absolutely mad about Kris' work and Kris himself.

I feel like his portfolio speaks for itself - his models always look exquisite and he has his own unique style that one can spot a mile off.

The best part about this day was the fun I had hanging out with Kris - I've not laughed that much in so long and I really feel that because I was so comfortable, I've produced some of my best work yet. I can't recommend him enough, he's an absolute talent and a joy to be around. Second shoot booked next week and I'm so looking forward to it.

Have worked with Kris loads now and have to say he is definitely one of my favourite photographers to work with. He is down to earth and makes sure you feel comfortable and happy throughout the shoot even on workshops (he also takes amazing images of course)!

I do lots of workshops with Kris and can safely say he is one of the best tutors out there you can really tell his passionate about what he does and is genuinely running workshops to help others learn!

I am excited to see the images from the workshop and am looking forward to our next shoot.

I Joined Kris on his Buckle Factory Workshop Yesterday and It was absolutely great. I Learnt allot,the choice of models was perfect and the images that came out of it were brilliant.

I definitely hope to join Kris on allot more of his workshops.

I worked with Kris recently on a Workshop in Yorkshire and then again in London at Belcraft.

Both times I have worked with Kris he has been absolutely lovely not only to me but to the photographers he was teaching, Kris really cares about the images produced and what is learnt on the day.

Both days were awesome, Kris is down to earth and has wicked sense of humour. His photography is amazing too.

Met Kris for the first time at a workshop held by Yorkshire Studios. Had an excellent time his guidance was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed the day and came away with a lot of useful knowledge; I hope I can now put into practice. 10/10

I had the pleasure of working with kris last week on a pretty spontanoues portrait shoot. Kris is an awesome guy with a great sense of humour, lots of jokes throughout the shoot and a lovely cuppa! Kris is very creative and great with direction, he was easy to get along with from the get go and was more than professional. We wanted to get some outside natural light portrait shots but of course the British weather didn't agree but we didn't let this stop us!!! For our last set we ventured into the rain for some moody shots, it was freezing and kris said it's not fair you freeze and I don't, so bless him he took his hoodie off and was standing in a tshirt in the rain aha. It was a very fun shoot!

I saw off the camera images and they looked amazing! I can't wait to see the finished ones.

I would love to work with kris again, 100% recommend.
